Happy new year
Happy New Year Henry. Lovely images again in this video, especially liked the icicles and the portrait shot of the moon. Keep up the good work in 2021.
I know it is kind of off topic but does anyone know a good website to watch new series online ?
Happy New Year Henry,
I only started photography back in February, and been watching your channel since, I’ve said to my wife that I wished I had half (or even a quarter)of your enthusiasm. Last day of the year, I wanted to stay in bed, but saw it was a nice morning, it was only 15 or so minutes until sun rise, I thought of your enthusiasm, got up went out, and that was it, I totally got what you talk about, I was buzzing, what a morning, TOP DRAW. I’m a lot older than you, and I didn’t think after this year I could feel like that. Cheers for giving me that enthusiasm, keep up the good work and have a great 2021. OUT.
I'd probably make some folks angry by saying I felt the same way you do for many early mornings in 2020. Watching your local weather closely helps increase the odds for special conditions too. I've experienced (I think) a record number of misty mornings for autumn here in Connecticut. You really do feel blessed when you make the effort to be early. And early Spring is especially magical...
Hahaha i live in Norfolk! You’re right it is flat and boring but I still manage to get some good photos. Sometimes. I would love to go to somewhere like this with Hills and dry stone walls!
So glad I found your channel, I’ve been binge watching most of your videos for the past few days, keep up the good work. :)
Your Energy and Enthusiasm is inspiring!
I fully understand what you're talking about. I so envy your foggy and cloudy days, not to mention Britain's ancient forests. Here in Wyoming we have cloudless, crystal clear blue skies more often than not and huge treeless plains, but I know everyone else would love to shoot here. Grand vistas everywhere where you look.
I love how you are able to challenge thinking, including encouraging us to see our normal surroundings through the eyes of a visitor. The fresh thinking and looking is such a great message!
everytime you say the words "forest of boland" referring to the treeless landscape you're standing in, it makes me smile... greetings here from northern alberta..
What you’re describing as “your everyday environment is someone else’s marvel”... essentially describes talent! Talent is to know something so well, that even when it seems trivial to you and your immediate peers, you can transform that something into magic for everyone else... that’s talent!
Haha - I lived in Abu Dhabi and learnt how to use my camera on the desert dunes and city skylines. Now living in Devon and getting plenty of dry stone walls on Dartmoor - the infinite combination of light/weather, composition, lenses, camera settings etc, mean this hobby never gets boring. Thanks for the videos - enjoying them a lot.
Henry, your enthusiasm is really motivational. Plus the reality of your videos, the good and bad things that come your way, add a lot of personal interest in seeing what comes next!
The best images are often the ones you don't plan. I went to 2 locations in Shropshire yesterday. The best image I found driving from the first to the second. Keep up the good work Henry.
You are so right Henry. It’s far too easy to forget the beauty on your doorstep. I’m fortunate to live in Ilkley so beauty is on my doorstep (an dry stone walls that I love). But it’s only recently that I’ve started photographing it, instead photographing further locations. Sometimes we just take things for granted which I’ve been doing, which is strange with the beauty of Ilkley Moor only 10 minutes walk away and beautiful Wharfedale and the rest of the Yorkshire Dales only a little bit further. Happy New Year, I hope it’s a good one for you.
That pano shot at the end was sublime. Loved it.
Shooting local is always nice you see more and more compositions as you explore more. I am blessed to live in Norway. A lot of snow but after 2 months I hate it until you get fresh snow. Now we have 20cm.
Loving your enthusiasm! No moaning about restrictions, your making the most of what you can do. Well done Henry!
You said you hope your passion for photography stays with you all your life - not as much as I do as your videos are a regular 'cheer-up' to me and I am sure many others! Keep on keeping on.....
Those moonrise images are just stunning!!
Have a good new year Henry and wish you continued success for 2021
What a perfect point to make, think we all get bored or spoiled of our own backyard! Awesome shots awesome video!
A great point your making, absolutely right, and love your enthusiasm . Fantastic shots 👍🏼👍🏼
Your personality, and your skill of producing photographs of such high quality is refreshing to us all. Keep up the good work. Slainte.
Love your enthusiasm which is so contagious!! Felt cold looking at you in the snow !! You need a warm scarf!!! 🤣
How the hell do you get so good with compositions? I struggle so much with having that imagination. I still enjoy the effort I put in. I do feel happy. That panorama shot was beautiful
That final sunset with the icicles shot is REALLY nice!
Have super NEW YEAR, Your passion for landscape photography finds are all successful
@16:45 wow!
Happy New Year ‘H’, may your horizons be wide and your vista’s plentiful for 2021.
20:17 "I hope this passion stays with me my whole life". I'm 16 from Oregon, and I think that quote is a great way to describe my feelings towards photography. I find myself loving the art and technical side of taking pictures of nature, and while I could never see myself taking pictures for money, I hope to be taking pictures well into my adulthood and beyond. Also, I love the landscapes of England and Wales, but I get that the grass is always greener (or the snow is always whiter in my case) and that many people would love to photograph the landscape around me. Love the content, keep it up!
Top draw Henry, as always you show us how fantastic Winter Photography is 🙂❄️
My husband and I appreciate all your efforts to bring variety.
I love the icicle one.
Can I have a dose of your endless enthusiasm please! Happy New Year, Henry 😊
Happy & Safe New Year, Roll On 2021......
Seems it’s a case of “ the grass is always greener . . . “. I live in eastern Oregon next to the John Day Fossil Beds - and it’s difficult sometimes to remind myself that the area is complexly photogenic. It’s much easier to to describe Oregon and the rest of the Pacific Northwest as epic mountain ranges - dynamic coastlines- stunning waterfalls. The Beds have little to none of those attributes but what is here can be fantastic - if you look for it. Cherish the area you have. It’s unique. Happy New Year Henry
Yay for Norfolk, and it's uniquely watery landscapes! Let us hope we can all get out there a bit more in 2021. A Happy New Year to you.
Love your enthusiasm. Take care of it.
Your enthusiasm and joy is so infectious, wonderful shots and an excellent video. Have a happy and joy filled new year - and I look forward to your more videos. A huge thank you!!!
Excellent reminder! We sometimes forget to “see” what is right in front of us yearning for what others have, so we miss out if we aren’t paying attention...thank you! Happy New Year!
Happy New Year!
Happy new year lets get out and make the most of the year
Thank you for your content, a lot of us are learning and enjoying these trips with you... virtually, but we enjoy the ride! Thank you for what you do, hope you have a great 2021 & most importantly, God bless you.
Must say you hit a jackpot on this run. Indeed, one man's trash could be another's treasure.
Happy New year 🎉.
Another enthusiasm laden video from Henry T Really brightens the day and helps people like me pick up good tips to improve my photography Happy New Year to Henry and all the channel subscribers
So much energy. I don’t know how you keep it up. Very funny too. A d you got a cracking image at the top. Top draw!
The icicle photograph was absolutely stunning.
Nice one HT. That icicle shot is superb. Your enthusiasm helps us all to get out there. I hope you have continuing success in 2021.
You are very right about your rock walls. I'd love to go there and photograph them!
Another great video . Great photos . Happy New Year! Cheers 🍻
Happy New Year Henry. I loved the shot at 10:25 of Longridge Fell and Kemple End, lovely contrast between the frost and the dark green of the conifers. Summed up the Trough for me!
What a lovely video to end with this otherwise dreadful year we've all had. Thanks so much, Henry. And keep the flame and the passion burning!
Outrageous Infectious Enthusiasm! Thank you for brightening-up an otherwise bleak 2020. Wonderful.
Of all your videos I think this is my favorite!
Happy New Year Henry, I hope that you can manage to get further afield in 2021, although as you rightly point out, I think it's important to explore and appreciate what is on your own doorstep. All the best.
YOU JUST PUT ME THINKING THAT WE HAVE TO LEARN TO LOVE THE AREA THAT WE LIVE IN, AND IF WE CAN DO THAT OUR PHOTOS WILL GET BETTER AND BETTER. TKS FOR EVERTHING IN 2020 AND MAY. 2021 KEEP YOU SAFE AND ON THE MOUNTAINS. WE HAD SOME SNOW HERE IN NORTH CORK THIS MORNING, GOT A FEW PHOTOS SO VERY HAPPY SO OVER AND OUT
Stunningly gorgeous images!
Great video as usual, Henry. Happy New Year
Hi Henry
I followed you for a few weeks now and I had the impression "oh no, not another T. Heaton". I guess I m not the first one to say that.
But I have come around with this video and pictures. Thank you very much for your effort and those pictures.
Your energy is very contagious. Keep it up.
Happy New Year Henry...thank you for brightening 2020....all the best for 2021
Such energy, love it! Am in 0:38 of the video and already like it, am sure would be an awesome and enjoyable time to photograph, cheers mate, happy new year.
Another Great Video Henry. It’s been a difficult year for all of us but throughout it all your videos have continued to give a strong sense optimism and escapism by showing that landscape photography is not about producing pretentious fine art but going out and having FUN!
Keep them coming in 2021! Happy New Year.
I
I just love your energy and passion! Great video!!
Another cracking video Henry. You're enthusiasm is infectious. Great photo's. Well done. All the best for 2021 mate.
Happy New Year Henry. I just love all images in this video. So beautiful with the snow, the icicles and the moon. Perfect!
Another fantastic video Henry. That last pano is just amazing. All the best for 2021. Cheers!
I live in Wyoming by the Tetons, and have never lost the passion for the beauty, and photographic opportunities for this area. Thank you for your energetic knowledge, and tips!
Great shot of the icicles Henry. Stunning. This valley was one I walked a lot. Love it.
So, happy New year.
Thank you for the continuing inspiration and here's to an amazing 2021.
Happy New Year Henry!!! 🍻 Here's to an even better 2021 to all of us. Keep up the wonderful content and thank you for being an inspiration to all of us!
I’m pretty sure you were talking directly to me on Abu Dhabi desert photography. But so true what your point is.... it always seems greener on the other side but in reality it is not! Happy New Year. Keep up the enthusiasm. It’s infectious...
Hi Henry love your videos I learn so much and your photography inspires me to get my camera out. The photo of the icicles and the piano with the moon are lovely. Looking forward to next years videos. Take care stay safe
Happy New Year, Henry, all the best and lots of photography adventures and humorous vlogs that brighten our days. Let’s crack on.
Happy New Year Henry, fantastic viewing as always with very nice images. Take care.
Henry, have a successful New Year it is a real pleasure following you and enjoying all aspects of your photography - through the thick and thin of what is thrown at one. Great channel.
Excellent point about our local area, Henry - One I need to remember. I've lived in the flat deep south US all my life and I absolutely 'live' to get away and into the hills... any kind of hills! But I need to take another look around where I am, which admittedly is very difficult given the "familiarity breeds contempt" factor. It takes a serious effort to re-open one's eyes.
Happy New Year Henry. A good video to end the year, with some great shots. I particularly liked the shot with the icicles and the sun. I always look forward to your videos. Best wishes for the year ahead. 📷👍😊
Happy new year Henry! I totally agree with what you said. Every location is unique and photographing your own location has an added benefit. I mainly shoot within a 10-15 mile radius but because I know the location you already have ideas in your head, so just waiting for that extra something (fog, clouds, storms) just to finish it off. Well, a great Vid to start the year off with, 2021 is gonna be a good one!
Thanks for the reminder to take the time to experience and appreciate the surroundings close to home. I think I was out photographing the same moon rise as you a couple days ago (only a few hours later here in Canada). We have had a lot of overcast days but a couple days ago the skies were clear and I decided to stop work early and head to a spot about 10 minutes from home with the hope of catching an interesting sunset. I was about to pack it in when I turned around and saw the moon coming over the eastern horizon. Spent another hour photographing a special unanticipated moment. All the best in 2021!
I live in the Flinders Ranges, Australia, so I'm pretty lucky. I'm about an hour from Wilpena Pound. When I was younger I used to be a 4WD tour driver up here, Land Rover Defender, and I used to take my people to the most awesome spots. Back in those days I used a Canon AE-1 and had to be a bit conservative being film. So everyday I got to look at the area through the eyes of a tourist. I totally get what you are saying.
Happy new year henry, loving the enthusiasm in your videos, makes you want to grab the camera and get out shooting more. Looking forward to this year's videos to see what we can learn from you. All the best
Happy New Year Henry. Thank you for this video. It was almost as if you were talking directly to me following a comment I made on a previous video about how lucky you are to have such beautiful scenery in your ‘back yard’. As a consequence, I’m off out today to see what I can capture of the flat and featureless Salisbury Plain. 👍😊
The Ice photo is wonderful! Thanks for all your effort in making such great content.
Absolutely love your videos. Motivating for beginners like myself.
Amazing images once again. All the best for 2021
Henry, great images ... , very inspirational
Happy New Year !
Icicles shot absolutely stunning, this one would make for a good tutorial on blending. Well done Sir.
Happy new year from Sydney Australia, my backyard is full of beaches, rivers, mountains and of cause a huge hulking city on a beautiful harbour. I consider myself lucky. But there is still nothing better then going somewhere new with my camera and trying to capture its mood. Also I have to add, god damn Henry your bloody fit, the way you spring up those mountains leaves me short of breath just watching! Thanks for even more inspiration.
Another wonderful video full of the joy you bring. Happy New Year mate 😊
Great video and attitude. I shot the same moon from my backyard rising through the trees. Remember to watch for full moons on the calendar. A full moon always rises at sunset.
Thanks for all the inspirational videos this year bud, have a great new year and look forward to seeing your adventures in 2021.
Hi big thanks for all the great videos, they really encouraged me to get out and about when possible.Looking forward to seeing what you have for next year.Have a great Hogmanay and a happy new year all the best
Nice one Henry, good to see you shooting in our backyard and showing the wonderful Forest of Bowland in its true splendour. Happy New Year!!
Beautiful light! Great scene with the sun breaking through! I love my ifootage Gazelle TC7! You'll love that tripod. Good stuff! Cannot agree more with ones local is another's exotic, hard to remember sometimes. Thanks, Henry! Like the shot with the icicles, tough comp! The moon and then chocolate! Can't beat it! Grand!
You set me up for the day ahead!.....thanks.....🥳🥰🌈😎
Got to say, I've always loved the fells of Bowland even before I got the photography bug. I am local though (Lancaster). When I came back from abroad, I fell in love with them all over again.
I could spend the day on Clougha any day. With or without a camera.
Happy New Year Henry, another super vlog, keep em coming as these are a pleasure to view. All the very best, Andy
Happy new year and thanks for all the videos through lockdown , you've inspired me to get out more with the camera .
Happy New Year! Have loved your videos this year, and and as a novice photographer have found them inspirational, especially as this is our local area. Please keep on posting your landscape adventures.
Neat idea to focus stack the icicles. Cheers for a great 2021.
Another fantastic one Henry, thank you
Excellent as usual Henry! Very apt that you put this one out on New Years Eve, it truly inspires me to ‘get out’ more in 2021 and to be thankful for my local area, which I will now ‘milk’ as much as I can in the future months. Thank you so much for the past year, may you long continue. Wishing you a VERY Happy New Year. Top Drawer!!
Excellent work as always, Henry. Inspirational. Happy New Year.
Happy New Year! What a wonderful perspective that what you have might be perfect for someone else
