    Thanks for the quick and simple video. No way I’m buying 12 though at $50 each I’ll go with 1.

    I've been using the Arizona easy fletch for years and was thinking of going to bitz. But wondered about the real benefit of it. This answered my question, not much benifit, not to mention they just look to be a pain to use lol. Think I stick with the Arizona easy Fletcher. The deer and hogs I've killed didn't care about the Fletcher I used😉

      Accuracy is the biggest benefit and being able to control how close the fletching is to the nock end.

    What does a $300 arrow look like! Is it silver tipped for ware-wolves!!
    (Disclaimer- the ware-wolf thing is a joke; I do not believe in Ware-wolves, but I am curious what makes an arrow cost 300$)

      It's getting easy to spend 2 3 hundred on a dozen arrows. With today's quality and precision.

    My shop used only Bitzenberger. They made a plywood rotating, lazy Susan, table which held twelve jigs, slightly offset so there was no shaft interferences. The first jig was set to the desired offset.They then epoxy glued a piece of sheet metal, same thickness as a vane, to an arrow shaft. They kept it in case they wore out an indexing knob and had to reset the jig.The remaining 11 jigs had the offset screws loosened. The setup shaft with the metal vane, with the clamp still on the metal vane, was then placed, one at a time into each jig. The loosened magnets pulled themselves into position and then tightened.
    When fletching arrows, by the time each arrow had a vane in place, you could continue with the second vane and so on. A dozen shafts could be fletched quickly. Pretty necessary when a shop sells hundred if not thousands of arrows.
    Tournament arrows, 1 jig.

    My only complaint with the AZ ez fletch is the degree is 6 and after 60-70 yards you get a little parachute affect

      We tested the 3 fletch EZ with a 4 fletch and 3fletch straight out of a bitz to 121 yards. The helical was much better than the 3 fletch straight but both the 4 fletch straight and offset as well as the EZ fletch helical flew in very similar groups and maintained the same height of impact. I’m not saying there wasn’t any extra drag added by the helical or 4 fletch but both direct a BH to field point at a very long distance. The straight 3 fletch was extremely difficult to get tuned to that distance.

    I used a bitzenberger for a few years but switched to a bpe profletch. Never had a problem. Holds the arrow much better than the bitz. The ez fletch doesn't always put the vanes on perfect, kinda shoddy if you look close.

    Question/Content Idea: Toilets flush different directions Northern Hemisphere Vs. Southern. Does the helical fletch matter Clockwise Vs. Counter clockwise based on which hemisphere you are in as far as accuracy is concerned. Which arrow rotation is more accurate in the Northern Hemisphere... Is it the same results in the Southern Hemisphere... Or is there no difference in accuracy clockwise Vs Counterclockwise arrow rotation?

    • @MegaBigred92
      @MegaBigred92 2 роки тому

      I think its simply to match the natural rotation of the arrowing leaving the bow so the arrow stabilizes quicker for better accuracy. Too much helical can cause a parachute effect at longer distances.
