My 19yr old daughter's father admitted he's suffering from depression. There's a time that he is suddenly triggered with a very small issue like my daugter forgot a household chore. He suddenly shouts at my daughter and sometimes say bad words or threaten to hit her. This is very traumatic to my daughter even to me. I am always comforting my daughter. I am also reluctant to talk to my partner because for him, he is always right. And im afraid he will get triggered again ang shouts at me.
We always check how long my 16 year old has been on her device. We have to keep reminding her when she's been on it for a good few hours, she hates it, but at the same time, she knows she can't get off it. I set her a daily limit, but she's not happy feels she shouldn't be restricted.
I'm sorry to hear about the challenging situation. Hopefully, the tips in this video (and my other videos) will help.
I always fight with my 13 year old boy, when he comes back from school he immediately goes out to his friends even when he has assignments and school projects to do, when no I talk to him about his behaviour he becomes angry, and when he comes back from his friends he takes his phone and close himself in his bedroom and he even eats in his bedroom
That sounds frustrating. Hopefully the tips in this video and my other videos will help.
