Thanks Adam. This was my first time to Solent (Graham in the P1 seat had been before). It is a left hand circuit at Solent for 05, but with the nearby controlled airspace and the ATZ at Fleetlands it is suggested for arrivals from the east to approach via the Spinnaker Tower then to the Cowes VRP to then do some winding turns to join left base. As the circuit was quiet we made a right turn at Cowes and joined long final instead.
I've got BUJO in my log book from when I trained at Lydd watching this brought back some happy memories

Fuel pump and landing light not selected on during landing, easy to get forget on a long approach (from experience).
