PieAlotflyer thanks for the comment. I must admit out of all the aircraft I am checked out on the Robin is the best to fly and handles well but by far the worst aircraft to taxi.
Phil Hobson yes it did mean we could only climb to 1,400 feet until we got past Biggin but the weather was improving throughout the duration of the flight
Nice and the viz is great in the DR400, better than the PA28 for sure. Are you mainly on the Robin now? Kemble is one of my favourites and looking to pop in there on my way to Halfpenny Green towards the end of the month. Nice work by the Kemble controller at 17:12 I thought.
Flying with Chris thanks for the comment. In now fly the DR400 along with the PA28, C172, C152 and C150. I really wanted to get checked out on the Robin to give myself more options with aircraft availability in busy periods. Definitely can’t fault the visibility and is great to handle in the air too. You are right too regarding the controllers at Kemble, couldn’t fault them.
I really enjoyed that, thanks for posting. Robins always look so smart. Thanks for the comprehensive notes too. The new cafe at Kemble is very smart, great views of the runway etc, nice grub and friendly faces. It's not been great weather of late, and on our last visit only a Rockwell ventured in. The other runway is now used for storage/taxy way. BTW was the aircraft a 1000' below you, over Membury, a C42 microlight based there?
Muso Seven thanks for the comment, I really appreciate it. You are right about the weather as I have had to cancel a number of recent flights. Good to hear about the new cafe at Kemble, give me another excuse to visit again. If you are talking about the low level aircraft that was below us when we were in the Benson MATZ area then yes, it was more than 1,000 feet below us.
Private Pilot Vlogs thanks Adam! This flight was back in May and the restaurant was still under renovation. Definitely an excuse to go back now it has reopened.
Nice Vlog and the Robin looks a nice aircraft to fly.

Sylvain Gibouret thanks for the comment. Have fun in JZ flying to Le Touquet

Roshan Perera thanks for the comment. I find the SkyDemon circuit pattern extremely useful especially when doing my flight planning.
