sorry to be offtopic but does anybody know a tool to log back into an instagram account..? I was stupid lost my account password. I would love any assistance you can offer me!
I love Squeeze. I remember Danny Baker, who's friends with Glenn and Chris, saying they can't stand each other, which makes me sad when they've created so much joy for us.
I get what Glen is saying about Spotify etc, (although I won't rent my music) but festivals for me are the best way to find new music as they take you out of your comfort zone and listen to a diverse range of styles and a multitude of acts under the radar which you would never otherwise find. In Chris' case rediscover Squeeze and discover his solo work.
Saw Chris Difford 19th May on Chichester what a great guy very interesting and great sense of humour ..and he played and sung lots of old squeeze classics plus newer stuff. Very talented was a great evening .....
Did you se the VH1 Bands reunited show? They tried to get the original band back together but Jules Holland had to be a c**t and spoil it, thus the whole thing never happened.
@@andyhinds542 ..yes I do remember seeing it in fact I was very surprised that Glenn would have agreed to do it back then because he and Chris were not on good terms......as for Jools, he was amazingly talented but I don't feel there was enough air in the room between him and Glenn... Too much talent is sometimes a bad thing
I saw that show from VH1 and my impression was that VH1 was very rude for barging in on each individual’s life and even disrupted an orchestra rehearsal. That’s money out of a working man’s pockets! Jools was the only one who had any sense and with prudence said that he’d have to think about it. Why should VH1 capitalize and not the artists themselves?? You want to reunite a band, you first show up with a respectable financial offer. Anything less is an insult. VH1 wasn’t offering this, they were using camera pressure. Not cool.
Great interview if I could have heard it . Ya think the production company could have actually mic'd up Glen and Chris and maybe told everyone else to STFU so you wouldn't hear them in the background talking . The white noise from outside didn't help any . Lots of automobile traffic outside .
+Stuart Stuartson Well, I like his haircut, I think it looks good. But I think he should lose a few pounds (not just for aesthetics but primarily for health reasons).
I remember that ugly goatee, that was truly horrible! It didn't make me think of Gary Glitter but now that you mention it... *ugh* I think we both agree that the disgusting creep look á la Gary Glitter or - just as bad - Jimmy Savile (now that's a man whose long haircut didn't looked good) definitely isn't recommendable.
U.N. Owen What's the attraction in growing a goatee??? Particularly for a man late 50s, early 60s??? It just makes him look weird - especially if the goatee is grey or silvery white.
And that means? Really, what has that got to do with music? It has nothing to do with music and nothing to do with anything...weird, random comment ...meaningless
what a intelligent and grown up interview
I am lucky enough to have been around when squeeze were young - talent
Agreed.
Difford's an understated yet insightful dude, I like him a lot.
Tilbrook is clearly very very talented, but Difford is indispensable.
Well said. Calling Tilbrook's vocals and guitar work amazing is an understatement, but Difford's lyrics make it work so completely.

@Caiden Gatlin Instablaster =)
Saw Tilbrook play live solo in October... An absolute revelation. Brilliant.
Leslie Decker wow, hes my cousin is he that good?
+Leslie Decker Playing solo is also a euphemism for masturbation.
Fabulous interview. Love Chris - so laid back.
He has aged rather well, looking quite healthy and dapper.

Terrific, candid interview. Thx for posting
Lots of love there. Great interview.
Absolute class love these two

thanks for posting!
enjoyed your book Chris!
Chris Difford - South London's Poet Laureate
They need to bring back Keith Wilkinson.....His bass and vocals added such a dimension to their music....

@Coogan dude I get it you don't like Jools but
you're silly
@@dinopappous6639 It was, surprisingly, Chris who was up for a reunion but Glenn wasn't.
Great interview

The car pulles in, I hear a beep, good night.
Who miked this?
Nobody apparently .
This is my friends dad Glenn and his wife is called sosan and my friend is called Wesley check out his channel wes tube
i dont get it. glenn has such a nasily, grating speaking voice but he sounds so amazing when he sings.
sam powell - Because he speaks with his natural chest voice but when he sings he uses his head voice...
Deviated Septum
Is that Piers Morgan???
JMRUSIRIUS Savage
I think Glenn can be a lot more 'wanky' and actually incredible but Chris wants the simple tight rhyrhms
Lame questions
Glenn's hairstyle is terrible for a man of 57.
Thomas Andersen No, never gay. I do cut hair you're right.
+Stuart Stuartson Well, I like his haircut, I think it looks good. But I think he should lose a few pounds (not just for aesthetics but primarily for health reasons).
U.N. Owen Well said, UN. The haircut may be okay to some but do you remember when he had that awful long grey goatee??? He looked like Gary Glitter!
I remember that ugly goatee, that was truly horrible! It didn't make me think of Gary Glitter but now that you mention it... *ugh*

I think Glenn might be a bit gay or at least bisexual. I have always thought that, even as far back as 1979. He always had a gay look.
Thomas Andersen I'm not gay, though.
Chester Fields
But you were in 1979

glen looks like a gay old bloke in that video, especially with that pansy hairstyle.
Who gives a fuck? You maybe?
