Why does my gray hair look different?

Observing gray hair on different women I am noticing all the variations. While going gray you may not know what your hair will completely look like, but taking a closer look at how dense your hair is may give you a clue as to how it will pattern out as it grows.

Just subscribed! I’ve been looking for a video like this forever! I l kinda how my light auburn and white (pretty evenly distributed on the crown) blend to give a sparkly, golden hue. You made me realize how beautiful it is that everyone has their own special color and graying pattern. Awesome vid! 😀

The pandemic and being unable to go to a hairstylist helped me to commit to stay-on-path. My hair folicals grew in very close together which produced a solid cast of white-blonde silver. The huge surprise was the flood of support I received by my friends, family and co-workers. My husband even told me that silver looked much better than trying to hide unsightly “demarcation line”, that seemed unrelentless. Also no more itchy scalp from dye allergy or spending big $ at the salon. Now my silver hair feels healthier than it has in years. Another bonus: My hairstylist would “rather not mess with the beautiful silver color” Her comment really shocked me. Now I just get a gorgeous classic bob cut on a regular basis. Super easy to maintain.
I have long grey hair, i have two white wide stripes on top and the rest Is a mix maybe one in three melting like balalage from top to botom, my whites are very sparkly, much More silver than white, so the melt looks like a metalic grey Brown.

Omg , all the research I’ve been doing and I never heard anyone explain this ! I recently had major spine surgery and about a 1/3 of my hair fell out .. and it’s coming back silver but only on sides and my crown ! My bangs and the back of my hair are still dark blonde …. My hair is also baby soft and straight ass pin … thin strands but tons of it … so I stopped highlighting about 6 months ago so it could get healthy and long . For now I’m treating my hair as if it’s all grey 🤷♀️… so that it doesn’t break and I’m praying stays soft … but I’m afraid I’m going to have a major mess on
My head !
And I might add that most of the people in my family over 70 never went fully grey . They are either solid white or kept partially light brown or dark brown until they’re 80’s and above . And I’m the youngest I know of at 47 to be going gray .. so if anybody knows how you treat baby soft straight hair , in your natural color , mixed with silvery coarser hair I’m all ears !!
My grey hairs are so translucent. My once dark brown hair now looks dark blonde. The grey is so evenly distributed it’s barely noticeable. I won’t dye it but I miss my dark hair as the blonde hue doesn’t suit my skin tone.
Love my gray hair. It's been almost 3 years and I carry it long and I'm 63 years old. I know most women my age probably look better with shorter hair but I just adore long hair and I think it's the best I've ever felt. 💗

On your Vlogs, I can say iam a Natural blonde, no color in my body hair, nor face( brows, lashes). Iam graying
( white, it blends) at the front, as if I highlighted..Get alot of ..I want that color, that highlighted look..What color did you use..DNA..😉🤣😅, loving the look..62 years young didn't start greying ( natural highlights)😉 until my late 50s..❤🌹
