This song has everything nice build up in the beginning ,jazzy groovy guitar solo only issei can do,orgasmic chorus synths in the Roland Vp....together climaxing almost dramatic towards the end finishing off to almost absolute silence......One of my favorite tracks of Casio......
@@LynnakiLynn26 I knew Hideki Naganuma used many samples for Jet Set Radio and Sonic Rush and that Nights into Dream used Home Alone sound clip for the main menu but this also sounds great for a sampled track
@@barbiroto I actually listened to Corvocado to compare, and whilst that is a nice song, the isn't enough between it and Tears of the Star to draw a direct inspiration. There's been no official statement to my knowledge regarding the inspiration.
This tuning represents so far the best album of this japanese group. There is much more sense of groove and melody than any other later recording from them.
Usually this band is either too disco or too smooth jazz for my taste but this tune was great, almost like an ambient / jazz-rock fusion with echoes of Brian Eno in the synth sounds.
@@angelcabrera1866 wow!
Love that progression starting around 2:10. Feels like climbing a mountain or celestial stairway, up and up and up until it culminates in this moment of brilliance. Crazy how much emotion can be conveyed/interpreted in music without lyrics.
Yes, same with midnight rendezvous, it has a more jazzy tune compared to the mint jams version, which envolves more funky elements, which is also not bad
this is so sad. this is truly a musical masterpiece. this made me cry for 2 morbillion hours, and when someone provoked me to stop me from crying, I mauled that person to death. truly a musical masterpiece.

No words, I would give everything to be as talented as they are...
Lol that almost sounds like selling your soul to Satan. But I wish I was talented in instruments.
The beggining sounds like a game over screen
jojo fans have great music taste

For those who don't know this, Phantasy Star Online create a character theme was sampled from Tears of the stars by Cassiopeia.
Wait for real?!
@@ikagura for real, sega hired these musicians to do song samples, that's why most sega games have good music!

and Tears of the stars was inspired by the brazilian bossa nova "Corcovado".

Yeah i think they followed jazz/pop trends at the time a bit too much instead of perfecting their own style and sound.

Their first album was actually so hard hitting that they almost sound like prog rock.
A beautiful song and performance. Noro's Blues like solo is to die for.
oh, what tone on that guitar solo... Damn that's good!
Indeed my friend
sounds like a warm goodbye
What a great finding. This will always be my favorite album of theirs!
Músicos de otro planeta! De otra galaxia!
Escucha "A 18 minutos del sol" de Spinetta. Yo digo que tienen una estructura parecida.

Japanese jazz fusion is the greatest music scene to ever exist.
Mint Jamsの「Tears of the star」のギターソロがいちばん好き😍

Me hace sentir triste 😔😔😔
I agree.
