As per the IMF and World Bank. India's current GDP is 4.112 trillion USD. By the end of this financial year, it would be 4.56 Trillion USD. We can expect India at the 5 trillion dollar mark by Q3-Q4 of the Financial year (2025-2026).

They aren't thinking long term enough. With child nutrition being number one in return on investment, India still isn't focusing much on it. Imagine being in the top 10% by making INR 25k/month. India needs to invest in the 90% more. Through nutrition and transport, if India manages to get this 90% in the playing field, there will be no stopping it. Of course there will always be inequality, but that won't be an issue if poverty is abolished. They don't even have to focus on poverty broadly, just nutrition for now will change the whole country.

$4.2T(FA24 for people who are confusing 3.75T of FA23)
    12% growth yoy(7.5% real gdp growth+ 4.5%% inflation)
In 7.5 years ie 6 months after 2031 FA end India's GDP will be
    $4.2T*1.12^7.5 = $10Trillons
So India is not targetting 5Trillion in 2030 India is targeting 10T by 2031 which is will reach easy with current growth rate of 7.5%

When I heard Varun saying we wanted to try something new in Breakdown, I felt it meant taking a new approach to understanding reports, metrics and industries. Couple of earlier videos were on this path but somehow now it seems to go by the Aevy TV path just some editing trimmed down and a spokeperson in a setup to make it look appealing to the higher intellect audience. It saddens me to see that Apple's valuation has reached 2.6 trillion dollars, while India's GDP is only around 3.4 to 3.6 trillion dollars. Considering that the maximum number of people employed by Apple is around one crore, and even that is likely an overestimation, it's alarming to see such a vast difference. India's population stands at 140 crore, with a working population of about 90 crore, which is 90 times more than Apple's workforce. Therefore, intuitively, our GDP should be significantly higher than Apple's, perhaps at least ten times greater. However, we are merely one trillion dollars ahead of a company.
The fact that corporations possess more wealth than entire countries is indeed concerning. Reflecting on the past, around 1990, India and China had similar GDPs. Yet, today, China's GDP has soared to 35 trillion dollars. While they have encountered environmental challenges, they have made substantial efforts to mitigate them, evident in their clean cities and conservation initiatives. In comparison, India has not fared as well in various aspects. China ranks first in agriculture, technology, manufacturing, artistic endeavors, and wellness. It's natural to feel envious of such progress, but channeling that envy into constructive improvement without causing harm is essential.
Therefore, we must foster a spirit of competitiveness and strive to surpass them in various domains. The goal should be to become the leading nation across multiple facets for an extended period.

People throwing stones at trains, splitting gutka at public places, vandalising public assest on the name protest disregarding the fact that they themselves contribute either direct or indirectly.
We need to implement stricter laws to charge offenders and encourage people to take responsibility for maintaining public spaces, thereby reducing maintenance costs.

GDP is a misleading number. The real measure of a economy's performance is GDP per capita. GDP is simply a valuation of an economy's total goods and services. It doesn't account for a country's population, income inequality or standard of living. India has a nominal GDP is $3.7 Trillion vs UK's $3.3 Trillion. India's GDP(PPP) is $14.3 trillion s Japan's $6.7 trillion. And yet both Japan and UK have a higher quality of life, HDI, income distrubution, stronger manufacturing, highly skilled workforce and productivity compared to India. To incrase per capita GDP, India needs to improve its education, infrastructure, power generation, governance and policing.

@@MissionUtopia__ You're the fool who doesn't understand basic economics. India's nominal GDP of $3.7 trillion is slightly higher than UK's $3.3 trillion. And yet UK is a much more developed country with a high skill economy and productivity. Going by GDP (PPP), India's $14.2 trillion vs Japan's $6.7 trillion. Japan is still a more developed country with strong manufacturing. GDP by itself is meaningless. It only values goods & services as a whole but doesn't account for population. What that means is that you can have a high GDP, but with a high population that wealth distribution is small. Understood? Idiot.
