Awesome that you went back and re-recorded week 2 of the CAL! Thank you! Any child will love to cuddle with a blanket made of blanket yarn, it's so squishy and cozy!
Sitting in the hospital, crocheting the herringbone pattern for a border on a baby blanket. It nice to listen to your post, so I don't feel alone. Thank you Juan.
I find it interesting, that you really don't like sewing in the ends. And yet you find so many projects with a lot of ends! Btw, it's really fun when you giggle! It makes me smile!
I dislike blanket yarn, but Juan you've inspired me to try it again. I love the colors and you made this stitch look so easy. I have 3 grandchildren, all boys, so I'm inspired to try this. Glad u are trying something new for you. And yes on a Lego blanket! Keep on keepin on.
My favorite croalong ever. Your positive attitude helped me so very much. Thank you Juan for everything you do here. Thank you for never giving up. You’re truly an inspiration to so many.🤟🏼
Might have to watch this more than a few times. I am determined to get my large C2C blanket finished before the weekend. Thank you for being my crochet buddy today!💜
I love the prym hooks. I also like using the tulip hooks. I am currently working on a baby blanket is my current main WIP. I'm using bernat blanket in the colorway sailors delight. Huge kudos to you for having such determination to get your content out on the schedule that you created. I love your no drama llama! 🦙 Everyone should have a no drama llama and an emotional support Chicken in their life.😊 Thank you for another WIPn it session!
Hey Juan! Another wonderful episode of WIP it with Juan. I love having you as a my company when working on my latest WIP. I’m currently working on a origami tote bag in different shades of blue. I love your Bernat blanket colors that you chose and since I live in FL, it gave me the University of Florida Gator vibes. I wish I had the finances to become a member but I’m a very fixed income, but you mentioned that when your member zooms, that you are the host and you have a co-host. You stated that you felt bad that the co-host couldn’t join in crochet when they are the co-host. May I make a suggestion? How about you alternate zoom meetings on when you crochet or if your cohost does.I hope that makes sense. Anyway, I love your videos. See you next time. 🤟
I’m finishing 6 water bottle holders & 6 Just a Ditty bags for most of this week. Several friends have asked after they saw mine😊 Varying some stitches & sizes & using lots of my scrap yarn!👏🏻👏🏻 Tomorrow is set aside for week 2 of your CAL. Again using what I have in stash - Mandela Bonus in Genie. It will be for our Yarn Ministry at church that I coordinate. Drinking Topo Chico as I go. Thanks for these relaxing & fun sessions as our Crochet Buddy!🧶💜
I love the colors you are using. These colors look very sporty to me because when my boys were little, many of the clothes I bought for them had sports themes with these colors. My sons are 29 and 30 years old now. Also, I am amazed how you can converse like you do to the camera as if you are talking to us live.❤
Love the WIP it sessions. No one in my family is interested in yarn related adventures so I rarely get to sit and chat while working my way through projects. Your sessions has become my new secret pleasure.
Hi Juan, I’m working on a few things, what else is new. I’m working on the granny stitch square purse that will get a cloth lining and either wood handles or crocheted handles. Then I’m making a lacy short poncho and flower motifs to be joined together to make a baby blanket. Also trying to finish my modern granny scrap blanket. Sometimes there’s not enough hours in a day to crochet, lol. Have a great day! 🧶🧶🧶
I am making lots of random granny squares, some traditional some starburst, all different shapes and sizes for all different types of projects. I will be using your modern granny tutorial as well. 😊
These sessions make my day! GREAT colors on the blanket! I'm trying to finish the border of a blanket for my granddaughter! One (almost) down, three to go!😊 Thank you for the company and inspiration!
Love your Wipn with Juan. As for you issues with your CAL, I understand completely so sorry you have to keep re-doing it. Love the fact that you say the stitch count. Im still struggling with the beginning and now I’ve decided to change my yarn. I’ll get there eventually. Keep up the good work, and try not to stress to much, I think just posting and short about the delay is good enough , we all get it
Now that I'm all caught up on the " spring fling" blanket, I have started the bucket hats for 11 of my grandkids. Finished one this morning and just started the second.
Hi Juan, love to crochet with you I am going through all my floppy skeins and making a very colorful granny square blanket with no rhyme or reason hey "It's for the house " it will be fineeeeee❤ lol my sophies is on a time out she's been bad lol
Was working on the border for my C2C moss stitch blanket in Caron Latte cakes. I used 5 colourways plus solid cream for the border, just alternating 2 colourways at a time but started out with several rounds just in biscuit then added in lemon sponge, and when biscuit was done added red macaron - went on that way with plum fresh, coconut cream, then began reducing to make a square using the colours in reverse. Always starting a new cake when one ran out. This will be so cozy on the bed for winter but i need to get the border done before it gets really hot here. Part way through the video, i switched it up to work on a dragon belly shawl in Mal abrigo baby silkpaca lace in Bobby Blue. Switching from a 6.5 mm hook for the blanket to a 2.75 mm is a bit of an adjustment. But I enjoy your voice and find it to be a gentle soothing accompaniment to the work. A good match because this is a calming, stress-busting activity. Thanks for all you do for us Juan, you are a gem.
Hi jaun I always look forward to these sessions I am doing your modern granny blanket at the moment and throughly enjoying it keep up your good work ❤from south Australia
Love the WIPnIt with Juan session! I logged off work and immediately sat down and started crocheting with you! I needed it after a stressful day! Love your modern granny blanket!

I’m working on a Denver Broncos pillow for my husband. Love watching you and I absolutely love your laugh. Please stay happy, healthy, and safe. Much love coming your way from Colorado ❤
You got me saying "It's for the house" now. I said it to my mother earlier about something and she just looked confused at why I chuckled after I said it so I had to explain it.
Hi Jaun, working on "Just Vintage Crochet" latest shawl from 1851, it is done in the moss stitch and just loving it. You probably have already figured it out about keeping your book open. Just an idea when I am baking I get a pant hanger and clip the cook book to it and I hang it on the cupboard above, this way it is out of the way and stays clean. Enjoyed our session together. 💜🍁
👋 Juan! Just poured a Cherry Coke Zero and working on a BOD Shawl in Scarfie. Puzzle is the thickest I can go but your blanket looking good so far. 😊 😃 😀

Hi Juan, I am still working on lots of granny squares...lol! I have so many variations that I will have to figure out different ways of putting them together. Hope all is well with your mom. I wish my mother was still with me just so she could get in on all the fun of my crocheting.
Hi Juan, love these videos! I’m working on a temperature blanket for my granddaughter in squares using the moss stitch! Hope you and mama Wilma are doing well.
Hi 👋 Juan. I’m at the 90 inch’s for my C2C blanket for my king bed. I’m making it with Mandala Ombré and a 6mm hook. I’m also doing a ch2 for the handles and I’m also doing a ch 5 instead of 6. I’m taking break now as my left wrist is very sore from the weight. 😮 but I’ll get it finished for winter 🥶 I love listening to you while I crochet 🧶 or doing my housework. 💜💜💜
I had to pull out 6 rows of Week ! CAL due to one missed stitch in more that one row that caused me🥵 . Almost back on track. Some days I can't count to -1. LOL
I'm drinking a Peach Tea Snapple. A favorite on you tube is Kelly (Craft and a Cuppa). Kelly just released her new pattern on Etsy. I had my hook and yarn I want to use up waiting. So bought her pattern and started the project last night. Her pattern is called The Granny Cape Pattern. I'm really enjoying working on it. I had some Lion Brand Mandala yarn cakes in Springy colors (Mifflers) for a friend who has been on Hospice for 13mos. Sadly she passed last month so am remembering/celebrating her by using and wearing something from the yarn I bought to make her a pocket shawl. 🙂 The Granny Cape can be seen on her Etsy or her website.
Love those plushie yarns. Working on an amigurumi little blue kitten, rectangle granny blanket, finished my cotton crop cardigan, moving forward with the Sophie's.. quite a lot on my hook :D and a glass of water for me this late :D
“Jack of all trades, master of none, Though oftentimes better than a master of one.” not sure if you knew the rest of that saying but it’s always been one of my favs and you truly are! Love watching you work the blanket yarn.. it’s so different & fun! lol 💜
Still working on my Scrappy Happy blanket but about to try and knock out a,couple blank for a friend's granddaughter's baby dolls for her birthday next Friday. Drinking my Pepsi as usual while I enjoy watching/hearing you talk 😊
Oh man I'd love to join your memberships and have a crochet club to wip with - but I only crochet in my pajamas 😂 is the zoom more formal than snuggies and slippers?
Hi Juan! I'm making 3 different things at the time. 1. Making Soap sacks for SACK foundation. And making a wall hanging with Jaydainstitches. 3. Is the tunisian Crochet along with Lynanne from Nina's knots crochet. The sacks are with Tiffany
If you have a clothes hanger with the clios on each end; like for pants ? Clip the book with each end of the hanger, and Voila !! You can even hang it on something at eye level to make it easier to follow along. ( consider the word " pants ".......a noun that is singular at the top and plural at the bottom ! 😃 )
Hi Juan. I'm working on a new bandana, a headband and a baby blanket. Although I'm thinking about frogging & changing the colors on the blanket. And finishing my French Vanilla coffee from this morning.
Working on a cat stich wrap as a Christmas gift. Drinking Dr. Pepper Zero. Mmmm so good. I just finished a modern granny straight rows afghan. It's easy and looked so nice.

Pick several cohosts that you can trust! Many people would be happy to sit in the fray once a month or so and it would be good practice for hosting their own zoom or even their own channel!❤❤❤
Juan, the Alpaca, and the Llama were sipping out of your coffee cup ☕️ and the squirrels were placing nuts in it. 😂😂😂This is a great Wip and chat.
