      Glad to hear that it worked. That’s what I’m trying to do in my sxs. Need to run a external head unit so I can run more than just my sound bar. But sound bar has 3.5 not rca!!

    Can you connect a rca out to a headphone if the sound is already amplify to listen via the headphones? For example a preamp into a equalizer and then into the headphones.

    Hi question, does the 3.5mm jack to rca cable can be use vice versa? 1st scenario- tv with aux out only to speaker with rca port;
    2nd scenario- tv with rca out to speaker with 3.55m aux port only

      This is what I’m wondering. I have a device (turntable) with RCA internal cables coming out and I only have a 3.5 mm speaker. So, I can use the adapter to get the audio cables and connect them to the 3.5 mm headphone jack into the speakers? I’ll try.

    I'm not very smart - I'm a guitar player and I listen to cds to learn - I use a Sony boom box and I connect it to a guitar amp but I'd like to use stereo speakers instead - I will continue watching and hopefully I can learn something

    Nice video, but I think you missed one example.
    Currently I have a TV but there's no RCA OUT on the ports of this TV. Fortunately, a headphone jack port (AUX) exist, so I am going to try to connect the AUX side of the cable to the TV as an OUT, and then the RCA end onto my receiver as an IN to try to get sound directly from the TV to the external speakers.

    Hi ,
    Recently I bought an Android box and sound bar.. sound bar audio inputs are HDMI, aux, optical, Bluetooth. Unfortunately my android box doesn't support Bluetooth but it does have spdif which looks like 3.5mm female port. Can you please help me how to connect to my sound bar..
    FYI, my tv have aux output but it is not working

    • @SimpleCafeE
      @SimpleCafeE  2 роки тому

      your android box and soundbar has optical? well if your sb does have spidf, you're in luck. optical is spdif - you'll notice they're both a square. use an optical cable amzn.to/33q2rCB

    • @tonya1307
      @tonya1307 Рік тому

      simplest fix is get your Tv's analog output ports to turn on. Dig through the tv menu's sound settings and set them to output fixed-level or variable level and ypu're set to use your external sound device. Also I realize S/PDIF digital signals come in either the electrical or optical variety. Your Android's seems like the 1/8" (3.5mm) mini-optical; If you can see a tiny red light coming out of the android box's spdif port, then you'll need a mini-Toslink to fullsize Toslink optical cable.

      If your speakers don’t have any power, they are passive so they will only work connected with an amplifier/receiver.

    Hi there! I’m so new to this!
    I’d appreciate some help!
    I have a turntable with a built in preamp. It came with the RCA cables.
    I’d like to purchase a soundbar but I’m not sure how to convert or use an adapter for it to go to whatever the soundbar accepts!
    Some have optical I believe.

    hypothetical? old turntable in to preamp with rca cable, preamp out rca cable to aux 1/8 male adapter end, then into Aux input on a modern shelf stereo. would it work? thanks! You may have explained this in your video(s). i apologize if I missed it.

    My receiver blew. The replacement doesn’t have any place to connect by two passive speakers. I have two karaoke components that worked fine with the old amp. It had places to put the red and black speakers wires this one doesn’t . I’m stumped and my special needs clients have No karaoke.
