I'm looking forward to buying a 20$ liberty BU. I've been saving up for months for it. I got the BU 10$ liberty and was riddled with bag marks. I still love it.
Kc mac did u get the $10 one from apmex? I got a $10 AU liberty from jm bullion and the feild of the coin was really scratched up and i got an 1883 wich is high mintage yr but other than that its got no wear and still has luster
@@silverking8742 I got the bu 10$ 1882. And received a bu 20$ 1898. Both from apmex and both having bag marks in the fields of the coin, the 10$ was almost a mat finish. Real dull but still with luster, while the 20$ was marked up, but behind it was nearly a proof finish.
Thank you im very happy with the purchase i choose the random year when i bought them so it was a surprise congrats on your 1907 i have a 1908 good luck with your purchase.
Cool! I have a Liberty $10 gold coin. It’s my favorite size, not too small, but not to big. And it’s a lot of money already. It’s like $775of gold by itself. Vs like $1,550 for a double liberty. All gold coins great though! Nice video!
Interesting I like your take I can see where Teddy Roosevelt was coming from on the Liberty Head being too boring and I also can see your point to excellent thumbs up for the comment.
Mathew i completely agree. I hate the st gaudins. The $20 liberty is such a nice design i mean i dont see how anyone can look at it and not think its absolutely beautiful
I bought a $10 liberty “BU” and it was all scratched up with bag marks. I was definitely disappointed but hey it’s still gold. Hopefully the ones I buy in the future are a bit better. Gorgeous additions to your gold collection!
Liberty Coins I know I was going to exchange it but I didn’t want to get another coin in the same type of condition lol thanks though! I am definitely looking to buy one of those $20 double eagles and the 50 pesos soon!
@@Libertycoins so my $20 double eagle came in and they gave me an excellent one this time! I think it may have been due to a little note I attached with the check 😈😂. Video on my channel 👍🏼
@ Liberty Coins, Wow, you have the Finished Type [3] Series w/Dollars instead of the letter D with the Period at the end of it which Type 2 of the Liberty Head Double Eagle Gold Coin.
I always thought the reverse of the $20 Liberty gold coins was confusing to make out, I had to look at drawings of it to distinguish what was going on. I discovered it was a very stylized Heraldic Eagle design with big flowing ribbons and sun rays, ect. I'll never have one though, they're too expensive for my budget. I probably do prefer the St. Gaudens design better.
Lol ,wear gloves for what ?? Gold is pretty much indestructible.. Gold doesn't tarnish..sure want to keep ur coins nice but gloves totally unnecessary..but anyway beautiful coins nice pick ups
@@Libertycoins if we are talkin collective coins Gloves are necessary to guarantee getting that premium back when you sell them, other than that go for it with bare hands !
For BUs I would wear gloves. But for these coins being common stars and all even in BU they will be worth only their gold content plus a small premium. When you handle a better date in better condition then gloves are necessary.
Just got my first Liberty Double Eagle today in BU condition! My random year was 1894.
Now I need the St. Gaudens
@@hondarider100r congrats!! Keeping looking gold is in the move higher benefits us.
@@Libertycoins I really like the color of these. The new eagles, not so much. Don't like the silver look in a gold coin.
@@hondarider100r the originals are the best
Awesome😊, really enjoy your half dollar hunts, quite inspiring, consider to get some coins from my teller as well
After finding out about these coins and that they're affordable even though they're so old, I'm definitely going to get one.
Good luck
I just bought 2 gold coins from Liberty today. I just started buying because I like coins. I might have been lucky by choosing Liberty!
Why does it take apmex longer to ship pre-33 gold?

I got a 1907 Saint Gaudens BU a few years ago. I'm planning to get this one next in BU as well. Such beautiful Liberty head coins you have there.

I like the $10 ones as well. But it’s crazy because now they’re around $1050 and the $20 gold is $2000+...I regret not buying more
@@ticktology yeah I sold my coin around $800 wish I still had it now, but needed the money
Now this might be controversial, but I really don't like the St Gaudens design anywhere nearly as much as I do the liberty head design.

They are 22k good question thanks for watching.
