I played this song with my band "The Kraze", Band from Baltimore. This was always one of our set openers. Worked every time. Packed floor. One of my jams to this day.
just stumbled upon a few of my old lists from the days of making mixtapes and realized this is one of the songs that never made it to my digital collection. Great memory, great band!
@PooleyX I agree that good music lasts a lifetime and The Candyskins have lasted for quite a large piece of my lifetime already.I don't care if they never "made it"...whatever that means. All I know is that they created an impressive body of work and their music was like a buried treasure in an otherwise dismal decade(the Nineties) for popular music.
Agreed. A guy that followed my band in the 90s said, "dude, you should cover this tune by the Candy Skins". I heard it, loved it... but we never tried it. And I don't think we could have done it justice though. These guys were awesome.
if you know the names of the members you will know mark(mark cope) for the last 8 years i have been playing guitar with him and we are good friends, i have personally met mark and his brother nick(the mane singer who now has his own kids show🤣🤣. i have greak history with them. there good men
