Great sew along, I was able to make the top pretty easily because of the super helpful video. Only thing is, it is a bit too short - beware if you have a long torso! So I ended up making a new one, adding 3 inches to the panels and it fits perfectly!

My first sweater I knitted I put off knitting it for over a year because I thought it wasn't a beginner pattern. I took it step by step and I still wear the sweater to this day. Sometimes you have to be an adventurous beginner 🤗

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I loved the tutorial! Love the shirt but I think I’d have to figure out how lengthen the sleeves a bit and use a sturdier fabric. I’m just getting back into garment sewing from quilting and not used to the mushier fabrics yet.

The size you should cut is based on your bust/waist measurement. The back of the pattern packaging will guide you. Good luck!

Hi everyone. Im enjoying the sewalong its really helpful. But I've got stuck at the shoulder seams - at 8:55 of the video it looks like the shoulder pieces are the same width. But on my size 24 there's a 1" difference! If i line the notches up in the size 24 the sleeve edge lines up great. But I get a big size difference in the collar edge. I checked the pattern itself and the size difference is in the pattern itself (not my wonky cutting!). I'm going to proceed with my toile assuming that the notches are in the right place (so wish me luck on the collar step!). But has anyone else had trouble with the 16-24 pattern? Let me know so I can know if I'm going crazy or not.
did you say e stitching when you did the sleeve if so what is e stitching or can someone answer if they don't ?
