The standing areas are for the "Klack". It's the more hardcore fans who usually wave flags, play drums and sing songs to cheer their team on. The arenas have one for the home team and one for the away team.
HV71's arena does have some sun shining in to the arena. And since the seats are the way they are it gives an amazing atmosphere in the arena with the loud and passionate fans they have. Especially during the playoffs.
Regarding Luleås arena, aswell as many other arenas i Sweden. There are special sections for away fans aswell as for the hometeam. Compared to the States and Canada, we dont mix fans together, despite that there are fans mixed but in Sweden usually we try to put all awayfans in one place. Also the people who stand are usually what we call a klack, which is basically the fans that sing and compare to North America the fan environment is way better in Europe then in the states. Not just in Ishockey, but in all sport cus we try to sing and cheer for the entire game. Myself, aswell as Björn, happen to be from Malmö and support the Malmö Redhawks, however since im half Canadian i follow the NHL more.
How do they know where your from? also the person you came with could be wearing a visiting team jersey or every day clothes how does the person who sells you tickets know where your from? and everybody in your group who they root for?
Malmö Arena is a modern multiarena and opened in November 2008. It's a very NHL-like arena, and it takes the most people out of any arena which has a club playing. the only one slightly larger is the Ericsson Globe in stockholm but none of the stockholm teams (AIK Solna & Djurgårdens IF Hockey) plays there.
Im from Gothenburg in Sweden where Frolunda plays. You could say im a pretty big fan of Frolunda. I have been to Scandinavium a lot of times and you can see the ice very good. When were playing the whole outside of the arena is red and green wich is Frolundas colours BTW love your SHL videos
Luleå fan here, I've been inside the Coop Norrbotten Arena a lot of times, the area in the far end of the picture is the standing area, the "numbers" are actually letters that say "Vi står upp för Luleå" = We stand for Luleå. There is also a Sauna lounge in the arena with a window facing the ice
Also there are 2 ice surfaces in the 2 structures connected to the main arena, theteam practice there sometimes but it's mostly usedvby the minors or women's team.
COOP Arena in Luleå used to be called (Delfinen) "The Dolphin" and COOP is a supermarket here in Sweden like walmart but smaller. And you don't say CO - OP. You just say COOP. Example the name Cooper but you remove letter e and r. I've been to this arena alot of times and I was expecting this arena to be ranked very low like in the 10th spot. Great video btw! Keep up the good work!
There are a couple of reason why there is space between the rink and the spectators. One is that the arenas are used for other events. Scandinavium hosts horseshows, concerts and other sports such as handball ( look it up ) and other things. As for Scandinavium, its not a flat arena, the Photo distorts the building and angles. You have an excellent view of the ice and I should know having had season-tickets 05-11 ( and making a glorious return this season )
As a Djurgården fan I can say that Hovet is considered one of the most frightening arenas for away teams when packed, the angle of the seats and the whole crowd standing up makes it seem like an extra player almost. The fanbase of Djurgården is also famous for being really loud and active
For some clarification. Just behind the glass outside of the rink is not places for viewers/fans. Usually there's some medics and maybe a few photographers that stand there. It's like a walkway for for coaches and staff etc. And also, all arenas have standing places. A good example is at 4:00 just beneath is standing places. And there's 2 different standing places. Usually 1 big and 1 small. The big one is for fans of the hometeam, and the smaller for fans of the away team. Most arenas also have Lodges and restaurant seats. I believe Björn might be a little biased aswell. All arenas look better when there are full of fans in there. Any questions? Hit me up!
In regards for the "coop" norrbotten arena in Luleå, the far end you speak of, is "hemmastå" (in the old version of the arena called "apberget" which translate to Monkeymountain) and it's where the hardcore fans stand, chanting and waving flags and having an good ol' time, every arena has one, i think. Also the most closest floor space, is a handicaped space, the 6 black things you see is heating elemenst for those who sits in a wheel chair, so they don't get cold. Also "coop" arena, also known to those who play hockey in the youth division of Luleå Hockey, calls the most left for "B-hallen" which translate straigt to "B-hall", but more correctly to like "B-arena/rink" The middle one is "COOP" arena, that's called A-Hallen - A-arena/rink and most right C-hallen - C-arena/rink, and lastly what doesn't show on the picture, depending on the date of the picture, but around 2011 the most right, they built a 4th, that they called D-hallen - D-arena/rink. The difference between the 4 rinks is that A-rink has the seating capacity of 6300 and is the home arena for the elite team, B-arena/rink has a seating capacity of about 100? At max I think. It is for practice and youth teams games. C-arena/rink is just a indoor hockey rink, as same as the D-arena/rink. Theses 2 are also used for icepractice and youth games Just some bad formulated info for ya! ;D
The natural sunlight coming into Kinnarps Arena is amazing, as they stated. Just like Yost or Compton Arenas. Those are my favorite arenas I've ever played at just due to that!!
The space between the ice and the seating area is forbidden to cross for the visitors. Usually used by the staff in the Arena to walk across the arena faster. Thank you for a nice video 😊
Globe arena in Stockholm is Swedens largest. Seats 13850 people. The arena will be going through a makeover that will increase the capacity to 15-16000 and be the new home arena for Djurgarden after it is completed.
The ABB arena inside pic is very old. When the team advanced to shl they had to build about 1000-2000 seats more and those where build in that end where there where almost no seats. There is (or was) a rule in sweden that the arenas for shl must have place for a minimum of 5000 visitors
Thanks for the comment! I'm actually not uploading content on this channel anymore, but I would love it if you could subscribe to my current channel Post2Post Productions where I am making more Hockey content on a daily basis! ua-cam.com/users/post2postproductions
the glass wall on kinnarps arena is so that you can look out anytime during a game and then u will have a nice view on the vättern (lake) in Jönköping and ofcourse when the sun shine on the glass the sunshine gets trough.
9:47 in works just fine watching a hockey game at scandinavium. the picture doesent make it justice. The bad thing about scandinavium are that it´s a "multi" arena, hockey it ́s not the only thing they have there unfortunately. Why don´t you guys come over and try to see a game at every arena here in sweden? it would have been really fun see what you guys think.
I live i Karlstad and I played in Färjestad before. I love Löfbergs Arena and I have also played in Scandinavium, Saab Arena, Behrn Arena and Gavlerinken and COOP Arena. And i can say that almost every SHL-arena has stands. And COOP Arena do have two connected ice rinks plus one more.
You probably heard about "Globen" the Arena were Ottawa and Colorado played in recently, its used by Djurgården sometimes, the team who played in Hovet.
In coop arena in Luleå have wheelchair area with numberd places nearest the camera and farest away is the standing area with the letters. Its also an B A and C arena where the main games is the other two is training arenas which lacks stands there trains the mens/women and the junior teams of Luleå hockey
The Hv71 arena has a large window behind where the picture was taken. And it is a nice view with a bar there. And the away crowd has their "klack"(hardcore cheering entourage) to the right from where the picture was taken. The home "klack" has their area straight behind the jumbotron. it´s like a "V" there. Hv71 won the SHL 2016-2017 season. And by the way, nobody is allowed to get so close that they can bang on the rink glass.
The coop arena is pronounced like you said. Coop is a store here in Sweden, one of the two biggest grocery stores here in Sweden. Also, the ones without seats are usually for standing up. Most hardcore fans buy those and are usually like "cheerleaders" of Hockey.
Hey Karlskrona fan here, you should update the picture of Karlskrona. We do have seats on the far end since the summer of 2016. The seats increased the capacity from 3500 too 5050. Thanks for the vid!
The numbered section in Luleås arena is the handicap area number 1. There is 2 different handicap areas in the arena and the photo you have of the inside is taken about 3 meters from my seat.
You missed the Ericsson Globe Arena, it's the most unique building and imo the most beautiful and best one. It's usually booked for other events, but sometimes DIF (Djurgårdens IF) plays there as well.
Fun fact about "Malmö Arena" that was not mentioned in the video, its where the main events of the 2014 Junior World Cup of Hockey where played. Where unfortunately Team Finland beat Team Sweden :)
So the two buildings that you see at the side of coop arena is indeed ice rinks, tho there are now actually one more to the right. + the things at the back are as you mentioned are for fans that like to stand up and sing. There is also a small plateu right besides that people with wheelchair and other sorts of disabileties can watch the game from.
Many arenas in sweden are not made for hockey only, Scandinavium and Malmö arena are owned by the cities and the teams are renting the place. So sometimes in the playoffs they won't even play in these arenas. I guess that's not the case in North America :)
Iam from Karlstad in sweden and that means of course that i Love Färjestad and Löfbergs but i really want to explain more how it all works 1 We do not have seats right in front of the glas there is where the wealchairs are standing 2 we are standing on one of the shortsides wher there is no seats and sing for ouer team 3 Färjestad has the moast golds sens the Elitserien as it was called before was created :)
Färjestad do have most "SHL titles" but Djurgården have won it more before SHL got created. No one has even won the SHL three times in a row like Djurgården has.
I don't know how it is in sweden, but in Germany these "StandingRooms" directly next to The rink are not used as Standings. The Players can access The bench from there.
Kristoffer also the ones wich are right next to the Boards, or only the ones at the stands? The upstairs standing rooms are also used as standing rooms in Germany?🤔
The space between the rink and the seats are not for a standing crowd. your are not allowed to go there, i think its for like the press or something :) But all arenas and teams have a standing areas wich are made for the "klack". The "klack" are more hardcore fans who usually sings chants and play drums, waves flags etc. 12:57 no the glass is probably just for the look. its has nothing to do with the sunlight 10:15 no coop stands for coop! Coop is the second largest Supermarket in sweden and they are sponsoring Luleå Hockey Team. if annyone has any questions, i'll gladly answer them, i am from sweden so i might have a good answer ;)
As an HV71 fan, i'm happy Kinnarps Arena became the nr.1. Also the K.A was the first one to be built in what is called the "arena boom" in Sweden during the 00's where everybody was building arenas after seeing HV71's succsess with theirs. The glass also in K.A is where the office buildings are, and you only get a view outside from the Sektion O balcony section, and sunlight doesn't bother the viewers. About the middle circle being empty is because in the 15/16 season the SHL didn't have an official sponsor, and in 16/17 they got one so nowdays it says "Nordic Bet" there. When you look at Johanneshov (Hovet) it's an old arena with great acustics and the Stockholm teams plays there because they can't fill the Ericsson Globe (the biggest in Sweden, not Malmö) enough to make good profit. They have decided that Hovet will be demolished in 2020 and they will renovate the Ericsson Globe and they will be able to lower the ceiling from game to game. Also the arenas in Skellefteå, Luleå and Örebro are quite old aswell, but they have been renovated with more and better seats, new exteriors etc etc. The standing areas are for fans that are singing chants and you have one home section and one away section. It's from there all cheers are orchestrated, and it makes for an awesome tention in the arenas. In Europe we also have problems with hooligans (although ice hockey is relativley spared compared to football/soccer) and despite this, some arenas place the away fans right next to the home fans, which can cause troubles. Djurgården and AIK are basicley the only ones who are troublesome though. You have examples where they have thrown coins or food for example at other sections. When Djurgården and AIK play eachother there is riots in the standings more often than never also. They play in diffrent leagues nowdays though. I can give you some information on my impressions of the arena's i have visited. 1. Kinnarps Arena in Jönköping (HV71) As you guessed, the view is awesome wherever you are seated. The heads of the ones on the row in front of you only reach up to your knees. The only thing i don't like is that they have made fewer standing sections, so there aren't too many away fans anymore. 2. Löfbergs Arena in Karlstad (Färjestad) A very nice arena with good seats and good views. A bad thing here though is that they have theese rails on the entrances to the sections and they block the view if you get the wrong seat. 3. Behrn Arena in Örebro. It's a small arena, as you mentioned, and it's always crowded. It's always a pleasure to sit in the audience in Örebro. Bad thing here though is that the closer you are to the ice, the worse the vision get. You can't even be seated in the first two rows during games due to the poor view. 4. Gavlerinken Arena in Gävle (Brynäs) A very nice looking arena, very modern and very good seats. Some minuses with it though is that the crowd in Gävle was spoiled with Brynäs succsess in the 60's and 70's, so they don't go to the games unless it's playoff so it's usually only half full. Also there are too few entrances and exits on the diffrent sections, so you everybody is heading for the same exit in the intermissions and it gets anoying when you have to move aside all the time because of this. 5. Ericsson Globe in Stockholm Nice seats, but they have an ugly color (it will be changed in 2020 though). Also on the balcony sections the vision get worse. 6. Scandinavium in Gothenburg Old, ugly, uncomfortable seats and if you sit in the first 4 rows, you can't see anything Also Frölunda is trying to copy the NHL too much and their fans are so whimpy. "We don't hate, we love" it's like if you aren't even allowed to use curse words among them, like a childrens movie. If anybody have read all of this, thank you.
Djurgården and Frölunda actually use 2 arenas depending on how far in the playoffs they get. Frölundas second arena is Frölundaborg, and Djurgårdens second arena is the Stockholm Globe Arena.
The sun does not strike the ice in Kinnarps Arena, but it is still beautiful. And the picture of Scandinavium's interior does look wrong, because the seats are not that flat, it is pretty steep actually. (Side note: COOP is actually pronounced as you said first, and not as CO-OP ☺)
Why did u not use Globen Arena it's the biggest arena in Sweden and in Stockholm it looks like a huge golf ball on the outside and very cool and big on the inside
The scandinavium arena lower section is very flat and they are at a very low price bc of that. But the upper part (red part) is pretty steep and you have a good look over the hole arena. The only thing i dont like is the space between the rink and standings! Heja VF ❤️💚
I'm swedish and I am a big fan of HV71 and they won the Le Mat (the swedish champions always get that if they win like the Stanley Cup in North America) but the final was really intense this year....game 7 sudden in Kinnarps Arena and it took almost 12 minutes into the 4th period before Simon Önerud shot the gold home after that HV got knocked out in the quarter finals 7 years in a row. I hope I don't trigger any1 with my comment but hey, I can type it if I want to
I am from Sweden and the ABB Karlskrona arena is bigger. They have changed it. Its much bigger but it is still 5000 that can come in. They new name is now NKT arena. Before and when the picture was taken it only got in 3000. The name of the team is KHK (KARLSKRONA HK). And the side to the left of the arena is like six seats higher up and now on the side where it wasent anything just a wall they have changed that so it is seats over the area where you can stand and around the whole arena. And to right its café or what to call it and more space ro stand on.
You guys should review MODO Hockeys arena in Örnsköldsvik. The city and team where players like Peter Forsberg, Markus Näslund, the Sedin twins, Viktor Hedman and more comes from. A beutiful arena in a small town. MODO currently plays in the 2nd highest leauge in Sweden.
Not sure if I've commented before but how can you rank Scandinavium so high? I'm a Frölunda fan since birth and it's just so ugly and old. I got season tickets and you actually see everything quite good except at the green seats at the bottom
Post2Post yeah no worries but I just don't like it :p sure one of the bigger arenas (2nd biggest I think) and they did some work this winter that has made the entrance more modern but the inside is just a big tin thing pretty much. The atmosphere can be insane tho but at the same time pretty spooky cause the tickets are expensive as fuck so some games it's just half full. Then if we could get a goalie that actually knows what a goalie do would be awesome. We've had some pretty good goalies go through our team with Henrik Lundqvist and Fredrik Andersen as the biggest names. Also Lars Johansson who has been great for CSKA Moscow this season was our goalie when we won the gold 2 years ago. And then also other great players like Daniel Alfredsson, Erik Karlsson, Per-Johan Axelsson, Lars Eller and also Artturi Lehkonen that you as a Montréal fan should know of. Not sure how he's been for you as I'm a Rangers fan and don't follow Montréal that much tbh but he was insane for us
Also I love your videos and keep up the great work you do! Have a blast in Vegas :) I might do a NHL-trip with my dad next season which I really look forward to if we will do that
I'm a big big fan of Lehkonen! I think he has incredible talent and his break out year with Montreal will be soon. He's played really well for them, but has just had some bad puck luck it seems!
Thanks for the comment! I'm actually not uploading content on this channel anymore, but I would love it if you could subscribe to my current channel Post2Post Productions where I am making more Hockey content on a daily basis! ua-cam.com/users/post2postproductions
You missed the capacity of Scandinavium in Gothenburg where "Frölunda" plays. 12044. There are seats on all places but there is a section we dont use them cause of the owner wont let us to take them away on game days. Its a greate arena. We have the largest flag i the SHL. The "goalie" flag. Its big as one of the sctions. Been following Frolunda with seasonpass for 13 years now and the 14:th year are coming.
Separation is becouse of 2 issues one is player safty when u have the seating against the boards the boards go stiff and more injuries happens and nr 2 fire safty
Great video! You should come to Sweden and watch some hockey. It will be a special experience for you. The most hardcore fans stands in the standing room and sing chants all the game. Good to see Kinnarps arena in front. HV71 is my favourite team. It can get really loud when the play at home.
Hi, Love the video, I'd just like to point out on Arena nr3, Coop, as you thought stod for Co-Op, it doesn't, it's a food store named Coop, and it's prenounced the way you first said it, but I'm sure it's a sponsor as well :)
You are not supposed to stand right beside to ice. It is just space for the staff and the fotografers to walk on. And the empty places were it is supposed to be chairs is for the fans that wants to cheer on the team a little bit more.
As a guy from Gothenburg who used to be a season ticket holder at Frölunda I can safely say that Scandinavium has awful places to sit. Then again they do have som really good ones though but they cost alot
The big reson why it is so far to the glass in Vida arena is becuse handikap people want to see hockey too. Cinse it isn´t any slopes or anything it is easy for people with an moving handikap to get too see hockey too. Ther is also elevators for them så they can get to these handikap spots
The standing areas are for the "Klack". It's the more hardcore fans who usually wave flags, play drums and sing songs to cheer their team on.
The arenas have one for the home team and one for the away team.
Vi spelar inte i egna arenor borta då är vi ju i andras arenor KÖTT
TheSwampHumanoid Excellent explanation! I didn't know about the "klack" but now I do!
TheSwampHumanoid thats not true at all
TheSwampHumanoid or the standings in the crowd but not by the ice side
Bamsen E WTF yes it.

Kristoffer Thanks for those helpful explanations! it's wonderful to see how hockey is celebrated in other countries
Själv bor man 100 meter från malmö arena. Lite jobbigt med alla fulla som pissar i gränden brevid min lägenhet efter varje match
What makes you think there are fireworks and piss drunk singers? How can a person be so stupid to believe there are fireworks inside a arena???

It's HV71's intro for the sm-final 7 in 2017

Trueeeeeeeeee

:) We love Sweden!

FAN JA!

Coop also exists in the UK it's short for cooperative, i.e. co-op..I'm assuming it's the same here in Sweden but for some weird reason we say coop

King Wacky alltid en skräck att spela där tills ni släpper in 2-3 mål och ni vandrar hem som vanligt 🥰

In Sweden we like history in the arenas we don't want modern arenas.
Same in Finland
Great video! Also, Djurgården play 2-3 games every season in the globe arena. But as a Djurgården fan i actually prefer the smaller Hovet.
As a Djurgårdare I felt kinda butthurt when our (Djurgårdens) arena came up. The inside picture of Hovet is from AIK game, Djurgårdens biggest rivals.
The natural sunlight coming into Kinnarps Arena is amazing, as they stated. Just like Yost or Compton Arenas. Those are my favorite arenas I've ever played at just due to that!!
Arenas in Finland please
EDIT: A bit late, but if you do, please include the Hartwall Arena (biggest arena, but any Liiga teams don't play there)
PYTE tsmpereelle tulee isoin areena

The glass in kinnarps arena is the Windows to the restaurant. The restaurant is like a big balcony connected to the stands
NHL have the arena but the SHL have the fans

Why don´t you guys come over and try to see a game at every arena here in sweden? it would have been really fun see what you guys think.
If we were rich we certainly would! Or if we had a sponsor
Post2Post i hope it will happend. keep up the good work on your videos 👍
A little heads up! U guys had old pictures on Behrn Arena (when it was under construction) :)
+Johan P we used images provided to us by someone in Sweden
That picture of Scandinavium really doesnt do it justice, great place to watch a hockey game! Frölunda HC FTW!
Hey Neil quick question, if you were to get a jersey, do you like blank jerseys or player jerseys?
+Matt Lietz hmm no preference really! When I buy jerseys now I just make sure I get the dark(home) ones
You missed the Ericsson Globe Arena, it's the most unique building and imo the most beautiful and best one. It's usually booked for other events, but sometimes DIF (Djurgårdens IF) plays there as well.
From Sweden, not a huge hockey fan, but i enjoyed the video. You seem to be nice dudes :). Good job.
Kinnarps does have some sunlight from the window but there is mini shops whit beer and popcorn and stuff there so it’s not shining on the ice/fans
Just so you know, the pic from inside ABB Arena is before it was rebuilt.
I guess that's not the case in North America
:)
Can you review club marks and venues in the Swedish andraligan: Hockeyallsvenskan?
Iam from Karlstad in sweden and that means of course that i Love Färjestad and Löfbergs but i really want to explain more how it all works
1 We do not have seats right in front of the glas there is where the wealchairs are standing
2 we are standing on one of the shortsides wher there is no seats and sing for ouer team
3 Färjestad has the moast golds sens the Elitserien as it was called before was created :)
Srry for the spelling if somthing are wrong
Elias Leia You did great, Elias! many thanks for helping us understand how fans cheer on their teams in Sweden.
If you want i can send you pics of the sweads shirts if i just know where i send them to
I can also record when the serie start and send you if you want to
Färjestad do have most "SHL titles" but Djurgården have won it more before SHL got created. No one has even won the SHL three times in a row like Djurgården has.
10:17 you are actually correct in your first assessment of the pronunciation of coop. It is not co-op. Greetings from Sweden! :)
Why are the seats so far from the glass?
That editing in the very end tho lol
I was hoping someone would notice
This was a great video. Are you guys gonna do more of this?
I don't know how it is in sweden, but in Germany these "StandingRooms" directly next to The rink are not used as Standings. The Players can access The bench from there.
In Sweden we use them as standings for the fans.
12:57 no the glass is probably just for the look. its has nothing to do with the sunlight
10:15 no coop stands for coop! Coop is the second largest Supermarket in sweden and they are sponsoring Luleå Hockey Team.
if annyone has any questions, i'll gladly answer them, i am from sweden so i might have a good answer ;)
The number things in Coop arena is for weehelchiars and the standing Room between the glass is for stuff and police , ambulans and firemen.
Interesting! Bummer you guys missed the best SHL arena. It's called "Ericsson Globe" and it's in Stockholm.
Residents: AIK Hockey and Djurgården.
It's forbidden to stand behind the glass in sweden. And if you try you would be ported automatically for two years in all arenas in the SHL.
1. Kinnarps Arena in Jönköping (HV71)
As you guessed, the view is awesome wherever you are seated. The heads of the ones on the row in front of you only reach up to your knees. The only thing i don't like is that they have made fewer standing sections, so there aren't too many away fans anymore.
2. Löfbergs Arena in Karlstad (Färjestad)
A very nice arena with good seats and good views.
4. Gavlerinken Arena in Gävle (Brynäs)
A very nice looking arena, very modern and very good seats.
5. Ericsson Globe in Stockholm
Nice seats, but they have an ugly color (it will be changed in 2020 though).
Also on the balcony sections the vision get worse.
6. Scandinavium in Gothenburg
Old, ugly, uncomfortable seats and if you sit in the first 4 rows, you can't see anything
Also Frölunda is trying to copy the NHL too much and their fans are so whimpy. "We don't hate, we love" it's like if you aren't even allowed to use curse words among them, like a childrens movie.
If anybody have read all of this, thank you.
Can you make a video when you rank the international hockey teams logos?
what happened to Ericsson Globe?!?!?
+Leo The SurfingLime what SHL team plays there?
Post2Post (Sweden) the team and a old SHL team called AIK. And Djurgården a lot of teams
Inga SHL lag har Globen som hemma arena...
just so you know, the sun dont shine through the kinnarps arena (hv71 jönköping). Great vid, keep it up! :)
I play hockey in HV71 U16, and I play in the arena. The sun doesn't get in to the arena because it's a very dark glas!
Arenas in Finland next?
Mikaxel Yah that's a great idea
I just sent all SM liiga's arenas to them via e-mail
How did you make your logo
+J Hockey adobe Illustrator
And to right its café or what to call it and more space ro stand on.
can you please react and rank shl jerseys
i can send you pictures of them
You guys should review MODO Hockeys arena in Örnsköldsvik. The city and team where players like Peter Forsberg, Markus Näslund, the Sedin twins, Viktor Hedman and more comes from. A beutiful arena in a small town. MODO currently plays in the 2nd highest leauge in Sweden.
10:18 first pronounced of coop right
Where is the Globe Arena in Stockholm?
Not sure if I've commented before but how can you rank Scandinavium so high? I'm a Frölunda fan since birth and it's just so ugly and old. I got season tickets and you actually see everything quite good except at the green seats at the bottom
A thing called subjectivity I guess. There is no right or wrong. Brent decided on his own personal rankings.
Actually Vida arena is one of my favourites, really cool modern style
Karlskronas arena has been extended so it could take 5000. So it has seats on both ends now.
the bern arena is their old arena in örebro, they have renovated it
You forgot the biggest arena in Stockholm, Ericsson Globe!!
Hovet👏👏👏Hovet👏👏👏
VI ÄLSKAR DJURGÅRN 👏👏👏
Thanks for the comment! I'm actually not uploading content on this channel anymore, but I would love it if you could subscribe to my current channel Post2Post Productions where I am making more Hockey content on a daily basis! ua-cam.com/users/post2postproductions
What about Ericson Globe Arena?
+MrFelixify not in the SHL
+Post2Post It is being used in the SHL, it's Djurgårdens 2nd arena
It is open from the glass to a resturang that are in the arena and you chould see the ice from it. (Hv71 fan) (Kinnarps Arena)
10:18 you do say coop. not co-op. Coop is a supermarket kinda thing here in Sweden.
Ludvig Bjellebeck yeah but actually stands for the cooperative!
I would go in an instant if a sponsor wanted to send me there :)
If you take me to Canada i take you to Sweden😀
Hi, Love the video, I'd just like to point out on Arena nr3, Coop, as you thought stod for Co-Op, it doesn't, it's a food store named Coop, and it's prenounced the way you first said it, but I'm sure it's a sponsor as well :)
You are not supposed to stand right beside to ice. It is just space for the staff and the fotografers to walk on. And the empty places were it is supposed to be chairs is for the fans that wants to cheer on the team a little bit more.
I’ve live in the City that Kinnarps Arena are. There is a very nice and big (no windows in the arena) arena
Any plans to talk about Hockeyallsvenskan?
We'll be doing the logos eventually, but unlikely anytime soon.
Dur to my experience the sunlight at kinnarps arena does get through a little bit but not as much as it looks it would
Lindab arena is the only arena in SHL that has the seats all the way down to the boards
As a guy from Gothenburg who used to be a season ticket holder at Frölunda I can safely say that Scandinavium has awful places to sit. Then again they do have som really good ones though but they cost alot
Scandinavium is not so flat that it looks, and its also realy good to watch hockey in
@9:50 its a bad photo from the inside
Wow the Swedish hockey league stadiums are beautiful !!!],
The big reson why it is so far to the glass in Vida arena is becuse handikap people want to see hockey too.
Cinse it isn´t any slopes or anything it is easy for people with an moving handikap to get too see hockey too. Ther is also elevators for them så they can get to these handikap spots
You've done a great job ranking the logo's and now ranking the arenas. How about ranking the sweaters? That would be interesting.
Don't Djurgården play in globen anymore? That is a very cool arena. The biggest spherical building in the world.
Thats an old picture off the inside ABB arena, they renovate the arena 2016!
Can you guys rank OHL arenas next?
you forgot to say that both Hovet and Lindab Arena is very loud arenas. The atmosphere can be great in there
I can't say something that I'm not aware of lol
You need to check out the national arena to.. its call'd "Globen"
