I even emailed you guys about Syracuse Crunch and why unfortunately we deserve to be last on the list. Building is 54 years, old and hell, they finally made the ice regulation size just a few seasons ago. And so many other reasons.
random fact: the xl center when the whalers played there and it was the civic center was often called the mall because the arena was in the middle of the mall
The Utica Memorial Auditorium has been renamed the Adirondack Bank Center. Also the reason the inside looks similar to MSG is because the suspension cable design was first used at the(then) Utica Memorial Auditorium and inspired the more modern dome designs including MSG. #GoComets
Fun fact about Utica, that arena was home to the Movie Slapshot! That was also renovated cuz that arena was also built in the 50's. It's also the smallest arena in the AHL!
yeah it said "AHL Showcase" it was the Verizon Center, which is where the Capitals play, so it would make sense that their AHL Affiliate The Hershey Bears would play there for a game
Bell MTS Place is the downtown arena for the Moose and the Jets seating 15,321 and Bell MTS IcePlex is the practice facility for both teams. The UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena was the home of the Milwaukee Bucks from 1968-1988 when the Bradley Centre opened... Ontario CA is actually east of Los Angeles
Just a note about the Texas Stars arena, it is no longer named the Cedar Park Center. H-E-B, a Texas grocery chain, bought the naming rights, so it is now the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park. My parents live 15 minutes from the arena, and it is a very nice place to watch a game. My dad walked in for the first time and called it a mini American Airlines Center.
The UW Panther Arena used to be called the Mecca the Milwaukee Bucks Played there way back in the day. Bucks and Admirals moved across the street once the Bradley Center was built. Last Season the Admirals moved back to Mecca (UW Panther Arena). It has been given new lights, seating and sound system, very cool feeling inside the arena neat atmosphere.
I’m from Utica, and it’s really cool to see you guys like it. The “fireplace” area you are talking about is an area where they will have special polarities or banquets that people can rent out. I play for the Utica JR Comets, and we get to play and practice there too.
UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena is old (built in 1950), the Bucks used to play there until the BMO Harris Bradley Center was built in 1988, Admirals used to play there too originally as well, but when the new arena was built, instead of going to the new arena, the Admirals decided to go back to Panther arena. Both arenas are in downtown Milwaukee and Panther Arena serves as an alternate arena for scheduling conflicts and stuff. Otherwise Bucks and Marquette play at Fiserv Forum, Panthers and Admirals play at Panther arena. Funny enough, Milwaukee has a LOT of bowling alleys! Some historic too including the Hollar House.
The PPL Center is named after the electric company in Allentown, PA. That company is Pennsylvania Power and Lights. The old mixed with new for the outside is because the architect saved a historic building that is a hotel.
At 8:45 where you show the exterior of wells fargo arena for the iowa wild. You showed another interior of Alstate arena where the chicago wolves play.
In Tucson the Arena was built in the 1930s, I grew up down there watching the U of A Wildcats for hockey, and the reason for drop ceiling was for a previous renovation in the 70s, to cover up the wear and tear on the building.
Thanks for the comment! I'm not uploading content on this channel anymore, but I would LOVE it if you could subscribe to my current channel ua-cam.com/users/post2postproductions where I am making Hockey content now! In fact, since I have stopped uploading on this channel I have created over 800 new videos on the new channel! See you there :)
The Dunk used to be called the Providence Civic Center. The glass stuff on the outside is fairly new, and includes a walkway connection to the Rhode Island Convention Center next door, which also links to the Omni hotel and Providence Place Mall.
The interior photo of PPL Center, where the LV Phantoms play, wasnt from the best angle. You could see one side has three levels of suite/club seating, but the other side along with the end (1/2 of the building) has a pretty good size upper bowl. The press box and more suites are at the top, while there is a bar/standing area about 4 sections wide at the top behind the net. Really cool place to watch a game.

The Moose and Jets do play in the exact same arena, all year. The "BellMTS Place" was recently renamed, which causes for confusion (formerly the MTS Centre). The BellMTS Iceplex is a practice facility, not big enough to host a game.
The admirals used to share an arena with the bucks up until 2016. Both used to play in the Bradley Center in downtown Milwaukee but now the admirals switched arenas to where the UW-Milwaukee college basketball team plays and coming soon the bucks will a new arena themselves.
So the AT&T center is used primarily for the San Antonio Spurs of the NBA. Growing up in Texas I had no clue that San Antonio had a hockey team until I moved to Colorado (since the rampage are the feeder team for the Avalanche). Hockey isn't popular there so that's why they have the seats curtained off, and also the end is curtained off because the venue wasn't built with hockey in mind or as part of the main use for the arena. Also, they redid the arena and I'm pretty sure they got rid of the random seat colors.
Random fact about the MassMutual center. It's also a convention space as well. The space along Main st. Holds the Convention part and the space behind the convention area is the actual arena
PPL Center where the phantoms play is named after Pennsylvania Power and Lighting. PPL. The building in far back of the pick is the PPL headquarters in downtown allentown.
The covered seats for the AT&T Center are because the arena is the same place where the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA play. I know from personal experience seeing the same thing watching the Seattle Thunderbirds play when they shared the arena with the Seattle Super Sonics.
About to get mauled by Hurricane Irma right now in Florida. Thought the last video I'd watch before my power goes out and or cellular towers fall over would be this one because I love you guys.
The Utica comets are in my hometown! What you referred to as a fire place is actually a stage for concerts. The comets also sell out quite frequently meaning the AUD is a great environment!
i think Bell also has naming rights now to the MTS Centre in Winnipeg, last i checked it was named Bell-MTS Place so im glad its not just Rogers whos got a hold of the Canadian hockey market
I have been to the Tucson convention center multiple times as a kid to go to assembly's for jahovahs witnesses. They redid it when the roadrunners came to town. But still looks a lot like the old style. Wish they made it look more modern. Only seats like 10,000.
The Utica Memorial Auditorium was designed as a mini replica of MSG. I’ve been to many games there back when we had the Devils. It has recently been renovated and is gorgeous.
The Springfield Thunderbirds arena the screen in the middle of the arena moves up and down by 4 huge winches so it can be used for different types of events
When you looked up Hershey, the arena they were playing in was the Verizon center, now capital one arena, and they played the Norfolk admirals back when they were in the ahl, so that was an old photi
I've been to the Mass Mutual Center to see the Springfield Thunderbirds and you can't really tell in the picture but it reminded me of a rink you would find in a high school. It was so small and if you sit farther back it's so dark, there's barely any lighting. I felt so claustrophobic in there😂 But ever year I have season tickets to Hartford Wolfpack and I love their arena, the picture doesn't do it justice. I'm hoping I'll get to visit the Providence Bruins' arena next.
Our arena(Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland) is the largest arena in the AHL with a capacity of 18,926 The roofs that you think are wooden are actually steel
Giants center interior shot is the Verizon Center. DC lottery sign in top right corner, Verizon logo under jumbotron. And the capitol building in between the two tv's on the jumbo tron. And it's the same seat layout as the Verizon Center. Plus I know the Giant Centers seating looks completely different on inside.
To add on to Gary Mainz Jr's comment, The UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena is also home to the Major Arena Soccer League team Milwaukee Wave, and obviously many UW-Milwaukee Athletics
Can you do more AHL videos? I live in Wisconsin which unfortunately still has no NHL team, and it’s cool to see you guys talk about the AHL as the Admirals are in my home town. Keep up the great work with the channel, you have the best hockey channel I’ve ever watched!
The XLCenter is formally the Hartford CC where the Whalers played. It was affectionately known as The Mall to fans and announcers because its in an actual shopping mall
Charlotte Checkers Arena (3:32), there's a Health co add banner there behind the glass saying: 'Opposing team: We'll treat your bruised egos'...i like that.
I have season tickets to the Providence bruins. No donuts...only one size coffee and it's 5$....but when Jeremy Jacobs owns the concession stands what do you expect.....that man could pinch a Penny til Abe Lincoln taps out
I remember when Lehigh Valley played in the ADKS. I’m from Lake Placid NY and the Phantoms would play in Glens Falls and it would be such an easy trip for a game. I wish they wouldn’t have left.

Hey guys! Just thought I'd let you know that the pic for the Wells Fargo Arena (Iowa Wild) the inside is actually a picture from the inside of the Allstate Arena (Chicago Wolves). You can tell by the "DePaul" blue devils banners and the wolves championship banners... No hate, just thought I'd let you know!
The interior shot of Giant Center in Hershey false. The interior is shot is of Verizon Center (now Capitol One) Center. Also, false is the interior of Wells Fargo Arena. Shown is Allstate in Chicago
Ooooh if you loved the Allstate Arena (Chicago Wolves. Look up our intro for every game. You would be scared to know how it does not catch fire since there is a wood roofing.
I've been to the Panther Arena once in 2015 when I went to see Skate America (One of the competitions in the Grand Prix of figure skating). Not that many options of food in there. Nice arena inside though.
Not sure if correct interior for giant center. I’ve been there and big lower bowl but not too many seats upstairs. Picture has 3 tiers of seats and that’s not how I remember giant center.
Inside arena for Iowa was Chicago Arena, And for Bears you put Verizon inside pic. And most beautiful are Wolwes Arena, Place Bell, Charlotte Arena, PPL Center, Milwaukee Arena, Ontario Reign Arena, Stockton Arena,Texas Arena, Tucson Arena, Utica Arena.
Milwaukee just moved into that stadium. They were playing at the BMO center with the Bucks until this year. The bucks now play at the Viserv Forum. Needless to say the Admirals did not move with them.
UWM Panther Arena was originally Milwaukee Arena, later MECCA, and was the original home of the Bucks. UWM Panther basketball now plays there, and holds naming rights.
I will still never ever call the Gulls' home the Valley View Casino Center, most older folks still call it the San Diego Sports Arena :P and yes, it is pretty big inside lol
The Mass Mutual Center has a very very low roof, which leads to the board to look like is very low. That being said it is my favorite place in New England to watch a hockey game.
Thanks for the comment! I'm not uploading content on this channel anymore, but I would LOVE it if you could subscribe to my current channel ua-cam.com/users/post2postproductions where I am making Hockey content now! That inside photo of Quicken Loans Arena is OLLLLLD. The lighting inside is MUC MUCH MUCH brighter now. And, the score board is MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH bigger, almost bigger than the Pepsi Center.
Bojangles is a fast food chicken (similar ro KFC) joint in the south. The Bojangles arena is very old (like several decades old). I'm going there for a game in a couple weeks...
The Allstate Arena was originally called the Rosemont Horizon. It's one subway stop from O'Hare Airport...you could fly in for a Wolves game and get a late plane home the same night...if you really wanted to...😁
Say what you want about Winnipeg...it's much nicer than the old Winnipeg Arena...the only thing missing is the giant portrait of Queen Elizabeth. The old arena was across the street from the old Winnipeg Stadium (former home of the Blue Bombers) in the Polo Park area near the airport.
Thanks for the comment! I'm actually not uploading content on this channel anymore, but I would love it if you could subscribe to my current channel Post2Post Productions where I am making more Hockey content on a daily basis! ua-cam.com/users/post2postproductions
I went to the ppl center in February and it's a really beautiful arena! It was built a few years ago but you are right it looks old and new too! Btw great video guys
We did miss a few teams/arenas accidentally, sorry about that! :( Please accept our sincerest apologies!
At and t center has the spurs
Post2Post The TCC is a lot different now after some recent upgrades. Looks a lot more like a hockey arena.
Post2Post for Iowa wild it's actually Chicago wolves if u look closely
U left out syracuse crunch
I even emailed you guys about Syracuse Crunch and why unfortunately we deserve to be last on the list. Building is 54 years, old and hell, they finally made the ice regulation size just a few seasons ago. And so many other reasons.
random fact: the xl center when the whalers played there and it was the civic center was often called the mall because the arena was in the middle of the mall
as well as huskies of u-conn.
I'm from Connecticut and I agree
speaking of Malls. If i remember right the Atlanta Flames played at the Omni and that part Mall i guess from what i remember.....
AT&T Center is home to the San Antonio Spurs of the NBA so that's why the seats are covered
@patchandboo had no idea my new home city had a hockey team lmao
They cared about them so little that they got sold to Vegas then relocated to Henderson Nevada
Why does the inside of the Iowa Wild arena have Chicago Wolves banners along the rafters? I think you mightve messed that one up.
Andrew yeah I've been to Wells Fargo many times. That's no what it's like on the inside.
Andrew I noticed the same thing. Had to watch those again to be sure...
Andrew yeah I've been to wolves games in Chicago and that's exactly what their inside looks like
Could be AllState Arena
You can tell by the banners and the same wooden ceiling as the Chicago Wolves
"hes a glass man" brent is a legend
I live in rockford and work for the
Ice hogs and that was a blimp and it
Has a camera on it and it
Drives around during intermissions
Last year the Jets and Moose played in the MTS Centre. Ever since Bell bought out MTS they changed the name to the Bell MTS Place
The XL Center is a mall, same arena as the Whalers
The Utica Memorial Auditorium has been renamed the Adirondack Bank Center. Also the reason the inside looks similar to MSG is because the suspension cable design was first used at the(then) Utica Memorial Auditorium and inspired the more modern dome designs including MSG.

you showed the Allstate Arena for the inside of Wells Fargo arena,
Fun fact about Utica, that arena was home to the Movie Slapshot! That was also renovated cuz that arena was also built in the 50's. It's also the smallest arena in the AHL!
7:30 yep we call them malls in the states you also accidentally used the capital one arena for Hershey
Stockton Arena is so cool inside. Not only that, but really passionate fans, and easy access from the city and freeways.
That is not the inside of Giant center
We used the images provided to us by someone else.
Post2Post ok
Yeah I noticed that too. I go to at least 3 Bears games a year and I was like "wait a minute"
yeah it said "AHL Showcase" it was the Verizon Center, which is where the Capitals play, so it would make sense that their AHL Affiliate The Hershey Bears would play there for a game
Derek Weaver
I have season tickets what section are you?
Bell MTS Place is the downtown arena for the Moose and the Jets seating 15,321 and Bell MTS IcePlex is the practice facility for both teams.

Let’s go Phantoms! Also the PPL Center is called that because we have a company here called Pennsylvania Power & Light

FYI the jets and moose both play in the bell mts place. But they practice in the bell mts ice plex.
san Antonio's stadium has curtained off seats because its also home to the spurs NBA team and the hockey team wouldn't fill up them all
And the arena is kinda build for basketball and not hockey.
For the Manitoba Moose (and Winnipeg Jets) the arena they play in is Bell MTS Place. The practice facility for both teams is the Bell MTS Iceplex.
and it seats 16,345
Van Andel Arena is such a beautiful rink, hometown team. Really nice views everywhere and there’s great lighting. Such a fun atmosphere
Van Andel in Grand Rapids is the most underrated arena in Michigan. Great city great fans great hockey!
I fully agree! I would say they need a new center Jumbotron but that’s it!
@@GodSquadFilms THANK YOU! It’s so outdated!
You put the inside of Wells Fargo arena as Allstate Arena and I know this because I am a diehard fan of the Chicago Wolves

U guys make great quality videos, really have enjoyed your new and old videos i've been watching these past few months! Love from FINLAND❣
The valley view center in San Diego is the old San Diego sports arena.. the clippers used to play there
PPL Center where the phantoms play is named after Pennsylvania Power and Lighting. PPL. The building in far back of the pick is the PPL headquarters in downtown allentown.
FOR THE UWM PANTHER ARENA ( Milwauke Admirals Arena ) MY DAD WAS IN THE PICTURE

+Slim Jim stay safe!
Post2Post same here man atleast I got my power back
Wow that's insane. Be Careful man.
Hope you made it out ok man
Slim Jim it was bad
Giant Center is very nice, and quite large with a nice concourse. What's even nicer about it is it's right next door to Hershey Park.
The Utica comets are in my hometown! What you referred to as a fire place is actually a stage for concerts. The comets also sell out quite frequently meaning the AUD is a great environment!
The jets and moose both play at the BellMts Place. When one is home the other is on the road. The BellMts Iceplex is the practice arena
PPL Center has 2 levels of suits and the club box/seats are part of the lower bowl
i think Bell also has naming rights now to the MTS Centre in Winnipeg, last i checked it was named Bell-MTS Place so im glad its not just Rogers whos got a hold of the Canadian hockey market

The MKE Wave(indoor soccer) and UWM Basketball play at the Panther Arena.

The interior picture you showed of Giant Arena was actually Capital One Arena, where the Washington Capitals play.
8:20 The picture on the inside of the Giant Center is actually the Capital one bank arena where the caps play they just had a special game there
To add on to Gary Mainz Jr's comment, The UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena is also home to the Major Arena Soccer League team Milwaukee Wave, and obviously many UW-Milwaukee Athletics
The acoustics inside the Allstate Arena are amazing

Charlotte Checkers Arena (3:32), there's a Health co add banner there behind the glass saying: 'Opposing team: We'll treat your bruised egos'...i like that.
The Iowa Wild inside photo is not the actual arena. Wells Fargo seats are red and in the top right it shows some DePaul banners, a college in Chicago.
I have season tickets to the Providence bruins. No donuts...only one size coffee and it's 5$....but when Jeremy Jacobs owns the concession stands what do you expect.....that man could pinch a Penny til Abe Lincoln taps out
The photo you have for the giant centre is accurate the capitals arena during a scrimmage between the bears and the capitals
The Syracuse and Utica arenas both were used in Slapshot for away game scenes.
I remember when Lehigh Valley played in the ADKS. I’m from Lake Placid NY and the Phantoms would play in Glens Falls and it would be such an easy trip for a game. I wish they wouldn’t have left.
why wasn’t binghamton and belleville in this??
Yes Binghamton
That is my question
I love the Giant Center (where the Hershey Bears play) because it is right in front of Hershey Park.
The indoor photo for the giant center, was the Washington caps building

Which AHL Arena is Your Favorite on This List Even Though It’s a Old Video?
The Utica Memorial Auditorium also in the movie Slapshot! The “fireplace” is a stage for concerts

16:26 the bucks actually play at the BMO Harris Bradley Center. The Admirals used to play there as well
Fun fact the Giant Center was built the same way the old Hershey park arena was built on the exterior.
Inside arena for Iowa was Chicago Arena, And for Bears you put Verizon inside pic. And most beautiful are Wolwes Arena, Place Bell, Charlotte Arena, PPL Center, Milwaukee Arena, Ontario Reign Arena, Stockton Arena,Texas Arena, Tucson Arena, Utica Arena.
Bell is also the sponsor on the front of of the Vancouver Whitecaps jerseys
Have you guys seen the renovations done to the Cumberland County Civic Center now the Cross Insurance Arena? The Portland Pirates former home

Bojangles Coliseum is awesome not a bad seat in there, its also very historic in the Charlotte area, over 50 years old
The curtains in San Antonio are for the seats usually for the Spurs of the NBA
The Mass Mutual Center has a very very low roof, which leads to the board to look like is very low. That being said it is my favorite place in New England to watch a hockey game.
I’ve been to an Iowa Wild hockey game at Wells Fargo Arena and that picture actually made it look smaller than what it feels
