Hartwall Arena and Arena Riga pictures were quite old, they did bunch of renovation in Hartwall when Jokerit joined KHL and for this season they bought on-ice projectors

I assume DinamoRottaVANHA is not "freaking out" about the old pictures, but giving new information about the arenas. Just letting post2post know about these facts. There, in the right upper corner of our arena photo you could only Canada flag. but actually there is a line from flags of Canada, the USA, Finland and Czech Republic and a word "welcome". The cause is that two czech guys, one finish guy and one man from USA are playing today for Metallurg, and also one of our coaches is from Canada)

The arena at 7:26 where you mention that there are few people in the stands, that's probably because it's a international game between Sweden and USA.

Nice Video, they really do have some nice arenas. One of my favorite defenceman Alexander Karpovtsev was in the Lokomotiv plane crash, he won the Stanley Cup on the 94 Ranger team, he was good, very sad that happened.

Love this channel. You two are a great team, dynamic, good combination of youth mixed with veteran knowledge. I think that you already reached the point where you could do just about anything hockey related and people would watch it.
Suggestion, interesting theme could be talking about legendary games throughout the hockey history.

Actualy the Arena Riga picture is more than 10 years old. Picture is from 2006 IIHF WC in Latvia. Since that there are many improvements. This summer they installed brand new video cube + extra screens. They are able to project 3D videos on ice and basketball fields ( Like they nailed it in recent Latvian national team friendly games). In that picture that is first time im seeing that arena so empty, few years ago when Dinamo Riga played in PlayOffs, at the end of seasons Riga always were at the top of average attendance per game in whole Europe.
P.S. All this was only for your information, just today found this channel and i like it. Keep up the god work! :)

The Arena Riga photo is from World Championship 2006 and it was empty because Latvia wasn't playing and the cars are in all world championships, now it looks different

The Shot from the Arena in Riga was taken during a game of the World Championship. Skoda is the main sponsor, thats why there is a Car in the arena, as in every arena during a World Championship.

18:10 old pic, the arena was modernized in 2016. This set up is from 1998-2015. Today it looks pretty different, LED panels circle around the arena, jumbotron is big and it has similar on ice "movie" effects like say toronto maple leafs in NHL

The Bolshoi arena is actually the one from Sochi olympic games. The night picture has Finnish and Swedish flags because it was taken on the day of the semi-final game between those teams.
The reason there was not much people in Arena Riga (Dynamo Riga) in that photo is because it was a IIHF game: Sweden VS USA. And the latvian national team wasnt playing that night. (Usualy the arena is packed)
The car and the low attendance in Dinamo Riga's arena wasn't a regular KHL game. It's because it was a world championship game playing. If you look in the middle bottom of the picture you can see a Swedish flag. I think it's Sweden - USA playing. The car is there because the WC is sponsored by skoda i think.
Yes, Jokerit used to play in the Liiga, and it's the original team of Jari Kurri and Teemu Selänne. You might have heard of them...
There was virtually no one in Riga's arena because it was the IIHF World Championship between Sweden and the USA
i liked the omsk arena the most, that bird with the players coming out the bottom part is just so cool. I wish the sharks had huge murals like that outside the tank, the tank has enough flat space outside to afford this.
The reason why there are cars in the arenas is because it was international matches. Like clearly in Riga arena there were playing Sweden against USA. And the reason cars are there is because our czech company Škoda is the main sponsor of the IIHF. So if the World Championship will be in Canada then there will be cars in yours arenas. Škoda logo is also in the center of the ice. It's basically same like on Tour de France, where Škoda is also main sponsor. You can see driving cars from Škoda everywhere. Every team has them.

About Dinamo Riga arena. That's not even khl game on, as you can see there is Sweden and USA flags, so it's probably some international friendly, usually arena is crowded on Dinamo games. And Skoda logo is on only on international games. So yeah😁

At the time we made this, we weren't very familiar with the KHL and it's teams. A Geography lesson has nothing to do with what teams are or are not in the KHL. A lesson on the KHL would have been more accurate advice. We are both actually quite knowledgeable when it comes to Geography. We have an entire series based on it on a different channel.

WinRAR Medveščak Zagreb is no longer in the KHL... They returned to the Austrian League this season. That's why their arena is not on the list.

Xerathon That is the Bolshoy Ice Dome in Sochi. It was built for the 2014 Winter Olympics hockey tournament and now it is used by HC Sochi as their home venue.
