I like adding a bay keaf to my Chicken Noodle soup. Sometimes especially when I make homemade noodles I will cook noodles and just add what we like in a bowl then add soup, that way the noodles dont soak up the broth.
I love, love soup! I was lucky UA-cam popped up your videos. I wanted to share that I always make a couple of extra stuffed peppers and freeze them for making soup later. I just chop up the previously cooked peppers and add broth and tomato sauce and maybe some extra seasonings. Another thing I do is to use cauliflower rice instead of regular rice for a low-carb option in my stuffed peppers.
So glad I just found your channel. I've been binge watching. You asked about the potatoes. Russet potatoes are starchy and when frozen will be mealy. However, gold potatoes are waxy so they don't break down as easily.
Love the compilation! Soups are soo perfect for fall, and all your recipes are bomb! I definitely have to save this for when it gets even colder as well!
Soups r my fav but as far as adding noodles, i cook them separately and add them to my bowl then pour the soup over... This way the noodles don't get bloated and mushy or they dont soak up the liquid in the soup. Ive learned this trick from much experience. But I guess if you have a big family and you're going to be using all of the soup then its not necessary to do it separately.
Thanks so much❤
