The tracking feature has helped me a lot with accessing stand locations, especially when they are through super thick stuff. I have two spots that are a half mile back through standing water swamps and my first year hunting there, I just trudged through the water and it took me almost 2 hours to get back to my spot and by then, I had blown everything out. Last year, I had a set line along the edge and found a dry entry point further in. Love the app!

Nice! Didn't know about the rangefinder function.

I absolutely love Onx. I have everything color coded so I know what each pin is just by color and then I write notes for more details. It makes everything super clean and easy to read at a glance.

Two Finger distance for the win 🙌. The best.

I use it all the time. Shocking how few people know about it 🤣

Great tips. I knew about all of these but damn do I wish I knew about them 1-2 years ago. The range finder would have prevented me from missing a doe last year and the compass mode would have prevented me from getting turned around and lost many times

I appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment! They are all pretty simple things but often overlooked.

I plan on starting a channel sometime soon, and I was planning on doing a video on the same topic. Onx has some super useful features that make it worth the membership

@@NextStepOutdoors the layer showing WMA names and comparing that with the hunting dates listed in the regs is literally the only reason I ever was able to get hunting. The layer to show oak trees is also super useful to mark some areas to start scouting.
