I’ve got a connection at PWS and got one of these very early and killed the first big game animal with the model. Where this suppressor really shines is on the magnums. I used a 6.8 western and 7mm Rem Mag and it’s a huge improvement over others. I would compare it on the magnums with the Hyperion. 100% recommend this to my customers and it’s one of the best selling models I sell.
The sparks coming out of that thing was crazy. I will be surprised if a 3D printed titanium can is ever adopted by socom. The sparking seems to be the most pronounced with those. I see a decent amount of people on Reddit regretting purchasing their CGS Helios titanium suppressors for this reason. I know that you are busy and it would add a lot of time to your test regimen, but doing some shooting at night with a fixed ISO would help people make a more informed purchasing decision. Flash mitigation and sparking can vary wildly between suppressors and materials. If people are concerned with more than just sound signature and are worried about "signature reduction", it's a valuable metric.
10.5" gave too much gas in full length config?? does this mean the extra baffles provide back pressure? if so, doesnt that give us quick adjust on back pressure to cycle action on super vs sub? i want low back pressure due to shooting lefty in AR platform, but dont want to mess with adjusting the gas system on host for different ammo.
Should be getting mine in 4 more months, hopefully . I saw a video with pws guy, and he said it's not for 10inch or lower barel, I believe . Should get my Salvo 12 at same time. Can't wait!
@@nfareview 7.62x51 is NOT 7.62x39. I like your other reviews, but you fell short on this one *son.* Now put some 7.62x39 rounds through this can, share the results with us, and be the hero you were meant to be!
@@Bromo_Sexual 7.62x39 and 7.62x51 will sound the same to the MIC. The supersonic crack will overshadow the tone between the two. They will sound the same. I also don't have a 7.62x39 host with a concentric threaded barrel to run it on. Considering the pressures with 308WIN, it will sound just as fine on a X39 platform.
@@Bromo_Sexual you need to pump your brakes, kid. The amount of people that are going to use a 7.62x39 host with this suppressor can probably be counted on one hand.

I’ve been waiting for this one. PWS makes the most underrated products in the AR world.
Very sweet looking suppressor, thank you for reviewing it. Love your channel man.
That's pretty damn cool, let the sparks fly!!

Suppressed Fest is only a 3-hour drive for me. I'll be there for sure.
Nice! head to the website and snag tickets! Almost sold out!

Sparks are visible from hot spots. This would need to be kilned hotter to sinter the protrusions down more.
It’s almost exclusively with SBR’s with this can. And the 5.56 version does have a stainless blast baffle to help mitigate this effect.
No they will use the CGS Sci Six
The BDE556 can has a stainless insert on the first baffle and really helps with the sparks.

Pws should make suppressors that work with their comps.
This may be something the team is working on. 👍🏼
That would be really nice. I just had to replace mine with a silencerco mount.

please showcase the 9mm can!
The pattern on this can is for heat mirage btw. Don’t know if that was covered since I skipped ahead.
It was covered

Put it on an afghani typewriter and let us know how well it does.
UA-cam needs to add laugh emojis
You “tested” a 7.62 suppressor without using 7.62 ammo? *Shame on you son.*
.308WIN = 7.62x51mm
