വളരെ നല്ലൊരു കോടതി വിധിയാണിത്. ഞാൻ അതിനെ സ്വാഗതം ചെയ്യുന്നു. ഈ വിധി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ച ജഡ്ജിയെ ഞാൻ പ്രത്യേകം അഭിനന്ദിക്കുന്നു. ഇതൊരു മാതൃകാപരമായ വിധിയാണ്. മാത്രമല്ല, ആ കൊലയാളികൾക്ക് അർഹമായ ശിക്ഷയും നൽകിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഇതിൽ കുറഞ്ഞൊന്നും അവർക്ക് ശിക്ഷയായി കൊടുക്കാൻ ഇല്ല. ഇത്തരം ശിക്ഷകൾക്കെതിരെ അപ്പീൽ നൽകാനുള്ള അവകാശം ഇതുപോലുള്ള കുറ്റവാളികൾക്ക് നൽകരുത്. ഇത് പൊതുസമൂഹത്തിന് ഒരു പാഠമാകണം. വീണ്ടും ജനിക്കാൻ പോകുന്ന കുറ്റവാളികൾക്ക് ഇതൊരു പാഠമാകണം. നമ്മുടെ കോടതികൾ ഇത്തരത്തിൽ വധശിക്ഷ നടപ്പാക്കിയാൽ ഭാവിയിൽ നമ്മുടെ രാജ്യത്ത് പുതിയ കുറ്റവാളികൾ ജനിക്കില്ല. എന്നാൽ ഈ വധശിക്ഷ എത്രയും വേഗം നടപ്പാക്കണം. അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യേണ്ടത് അത്യാവശ്യമാണ്. അല്ലാതെ കുറച്ചു ദിവസം ജയിലിൽ കിടന്ന് നല്ല ഭക്ഷണവും കൊടുത്ത് അപ്പീൽ പോയി ഒടുവിൽ ശിക്ഷ ഇല്ലാതാകുന്ന അവസ്ഥ ഉണ്ടാകരുത്. അതുപോലെ, അവരുടെ വധശിക്ഷ നടപ്പാക്കുമ്പോൾ, പൊതുജനങ്ങളെ വിളിച്ചുവരുത്തി അവരുടെ മുമ്പിൽ നടത്തണം. മാത്രമല്ല, വധശിക്ഷയുടെ എല്ലാ ദൃശ്യങ്ങളും മാധ്യമങ്ങളിലൂടെ പ്രചരിപ്പിക്കുകയും വേണം. അത് എല്ലാ ജനങ്ങളിലേക്കും എത്തണം. അപ്പോൾ കുറ്റവാളികൾക്ക് ചിന്തിക്കാനുള്ള അവസരമാകും.
