Paul screws up the lyrics after the 2nd chorus. He sings, "There beneath the fish and finger pie", when it should be, "Four of fish and finger pie" (the rest of the band does it right). Noticing these things is the curse of leading a Beatles cover band.....wish I could just enjoy the songs anymore instead of always listening for mistakes.
@@EltonoutoftheclosetOfficial Disagree. I've heard Paul discuss the lyric many times in interviews, and in intimate detail with Howard Stern. Here's the quote from Wikipedia, "The line 'Four of fish and finger pies' is British slang. A four of fish refers to fourpennyworth of fish and chips, while "finger pie" is sexual slang for fingering." And here's the link: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Penny_Lane. I admit I made a mistake by not making "pie" plural in my original post.
Lucky you Paul with this evergreen!!

“FULL of fish-and-finger pie”... meaning female genitalia.
