    It’s so cool to discover that I already do those things when I speak in American English ❤️ I learned pretty cool and useful expressions with you like “I’ll take a rain check”. After that I realized how often it’s used in movies and series!! You’re a pretty awesome teacher Vanessa!!!

    This video gave me an outside perspective of the english language. I did not realize how smoothly spoke n American english flows in contrast to British english.
    Im an American trying to learn Spanish and Dutch (Belgian).

      We don’t really pronounce the “T”
      Like “literally” would be pronounced as “liderally” ya get what I mean?

    • @rb49352
      @rb49352 4 роки тому +8

      With plant we kind of stop the T at the the throat. There is a slight difference in how the two sound.
      If you feel your throat is contracting at the end of "plant" then you're probably getting it right. With plan, however, you're just stopping at the letter N.

    Extremely helpful Vanessa. I can pronounce every English word clearly, but when I speak in sentences, I always feel so hard. Now I learn the lazy ways to speak. Thank you so much.

    Thank you for all the works❤️ But I feel confused about this: what the difference between [change T into D] and [glottal T]. An example is “Eaten”. Should I pronounce “Eaden” or “Eanen”?Thanks again to your kindness.

    • @zariyavera
      @zariyavera 4 роки тому

      Eaten is pronounced more like ea'un in casual speech. With the glottal T.
