As someone who was born in America with American English as my first language, and as someone who has studied Spanish Translation and other foreign languages, this is extremely interesting. I think most of us don't realize that we speak like this until someone points it out... I would imagine you're an excellent American English teacher, I'm even learning and I'm already fluent! Lol

"Lazy habit" is the key to most American pronunciation. I'm American (and old) but I find these kinds of lessons fascinating, but they make me self-concious about how I talk now.
As a native American English speaker, and someone who's excellent as pronunciation, I only realized I actually spoke like this casually/conversationally. Real eye-opener!

@Ninja FF India has English as the official language beside Hindi in the Constitution. Even thought English is not a native language of India but India is an English speaking country. I also hate to acknowledge this just like you but this is truth !

fun fact: I am american and in the northeast, we actually eliminate the "n" in sentence instead of the "t" so it would be "se nce". also we say "hill" instead of if "hull" usually.

The hardest thing for me is the glottal american t, definitely. l am bilingual in Italian and Spanish and as far as l know that sound does not exist at all in latin-languages. ln contrast, the non-rothic british accent sometimes causes misunderstanding, British do not pronunce R at all. U r an amazing American teacher.. I watch your videos to improve more and more.. Right know I'm learning Spanish language
For the “winter”, my husband, who is an American, just say it out “winter” instead of making it sounds like “winner.” So do my in-law. I would pronounce it that way too so there would be no confusion.

This video gave me an outside perspective of the english language. I did not realize how smoothly spoke n American english flows in contrast to British english. Im an American trying to learn Spanish and Dutch (Belgian).
Venessa I had improvement in the past when I was watching your videos but unfortunately I quit that after I feel I miss something so I started searching your videos but I couldn't fortunately I found it today I am very happy now
With plant we kind of stop the T at the the throat. There is a slight difference in how the two sound. If you feel your throat is contracting at the end of "plant" then you're probably getting it right. With plan, however, you're just stopping at the letter N.

Eaten is pronounced more like ea'un in casual speech. With the glottal T.
