Seeing a su30 mki in sky is absolutely a breathtaking view. The way it just glides in the air is just magnificent. Russian have built a stellar peice of art. Hats off to Russian tech. It's an absolute death machine built for Aireal dominance. The fact is it's such a huge plane so opponents think it's a easy target but the fact is that even if this plane is locked down. Itll just dodge and glide past any missle it's so maneuverable. But as it's a Russian art so it's mostly underated by the world. It's just Russia doesn't like to publicize and create a fuss over their creation like Americans do. Otherwise sukhois are one the best jets ever built.
Su-30 MKI with world's fastest cruise missile ... its load carrying capacity, inbuilt fuel capacity, extra fuel carrying capacity etc are huge. So, it can fly a log distance into enemy area and can cover wide area for operations. None of the single engine fighter is capable of such kind of operation.

It's like every time a Sukhoi 30mki pilot knows he's going to be on camera, he becomes modest and practically domestic in his flying repertoire. We all know they have TVC and Russian FBW, where is the crazy dynamic aerobatics? Atleast do a pugachev's cobra? Don't let the russians hog all the cool points.
Indian airforce will barely show you their manuvering capability and timings, as most you can expect a vertical takeoff. It's more like forbidden in front of the camera. Once I have been to Vizag for a holiday trip(Airforce base nearby) and witnessed two crazy mig-29 trying catch each other's tail, that was a free sidescene. For knowledge IAF Sukhoi-30 got a kill ratio of 12-0 against RoyalAF Eurofighters and 9-1 against the USAF f-15. Maybe the secrets are working.
Generally speaking, structurally it’s the same as the Su-30MKK (chinas variant) besides I believe radar systems. But Chengdu already owns the blueprints to the Su-27 with their own lineup (J-11, J-15, J-16, etc.) and reverse engineered the Saturn engines, so it’s rather pointless to purchase, when they can just make their own, although they did purchase a large order of Su-35SKs (the export model) so who knows what China’s doing. Either way they love their Flankers
China did not get technology for engine. Reverse engineering is not that easy in engines. Else, Turkey also would be making it. Russia gave AL31FP technology to India. So, India has full control over the Su30MKI
All i know is Indian SU 30 MKI is upgraded with 4.5 gen tech. It has more advanced electronics and radar. Also can launch Russian BVR missiles plus Indian indigenous BVR missile. There is varients of mki which can carry Bhramos cruise missile too.

Well I don't know dude, are you ? Its the only fighter we've..which has the range of 3,000 km in a single go(without refuelling) ..can take almost every weapon we have for our fighters right now...also the only 2 seater fighter we've ....& its freaking fast....ABOVE ALL it comes 11th in the list of world's top 10 fighters...considering that its the late 4th generation OR early 5th gen fighter ..........& that's just my opinion
As far as technical specifications are concerned none of them is near it.. but you see each plane has it's own speciality and is used according to the requirement or need. Their may be instances where a mig-21 (or any other aircraft) is more effective than a Sukhoi-30 MKI when brought in use, it all depends on the type of job to be done. So one should be proud of all the assets of the air force. You shouldn't be ashamed of other aircrafts, they are important too, some best pilots fly them.
America is superior in electronics. Today the plane with better electronics will win. The one with inferior electronics will hit the ground with a "thud" sound.
It's better than F16s, but not better than F22. US is no doubt the boss in aviation, too bad they support a terrorist nation instead of a healthy democracy like India.

I still remember back in 2006 or 2007, some fast flying loud jets passed over our house in Punjab and me being 4-5 years old started crying because of the loud noise, and it was later I got to know that the jet was none other than the might Sukhoi Su-30 MKI.

Well I don't know dude, are you ? Its the only fighter we've..which has the range of 3,000 km in a single go(without refuelling) ..can take almost every weapon we have for our fighters right now...also the only 2 seater fighter we've ....& its freaking fast....ABOVE ALL it comes 11th in the list of world's top 10 fighters...considering that its the late 4th generation OR early 5th gen fighter ..........& that's just my opinion

As far as technical specifications are concerned none of them is near it.. but you see each plane has it's own speciality and is used according to the requirement or need. Their may be instances where a mig-21 (or any other aircraft) is more effective than a Sukhoi-30 MKI when brought in use, it all depends on the type of job to be done. So one should be proud of all the assets of the air force. You shouldn't be ashamed of other aircrafts, they are important too, some best pilots fly them.

It’s Me Again What fifth gen figher😂😂 Russia refused to give india any intel on their su57 and India pulled out after knowing they got scammed and couldn’t afford it. Pakistan could buy a fifth gen fighter from China since they’ve already put them into service unlike Russia which is still in the prototype stage with one engine fire. Or Pakistan could make a jf17 variant into a stealth fighter since it already has a few stealth features such as dsi inlets. However since India doesn’t have a stealth fighter, we’re not going to get one either. PAF doctorine has always been defense, not causing a pointless and expensive arms race.
