It's not as simple. 5th Gen aircrafts have advanced architectures for stealth and advanced maneuverability. US would have just upgraded F18 or F22. F35 has advanced architecture. India won't have acquired Rafale if Su30 MKI was enough.🤔🤔🤔

Have always been a big fan of Sukhoi aircrafts. Killer majestic bird proudly flying in Indian Skies.
But these beautiful beasts are getting older with time. Super Sukhoi program is yet to be followed. Nice documentary.

It’s more of a piece of 💩 than a piece of art. This is why India is cancelling the revamp of these planes and cancelling other military purchases fro Russia. We can all see how poorly Russian weapons systems are performing in Ukraine.

@@AamirKhan-bh7bw dude please check about the failed operation retreat from pak airforce it is everywhere on google.. Only 2 sukhoi stand there to protect Srinagar base... Your 16 jets coming towards us 8 f-16 several mirag2000s j-10 that Chinese one if I'm not wrong.. All these jets couldn't able to cross the borders.. They just fired amram from a far distance which our sukhois easily dodged.. Su30 can also fire it back they didn't have orders to fire.. So we remain at our position

Su 30 looks stunning and majestic among all of it's rivals. Like tiger, every muscle curve of the aircraft depicts power, intimidating stance and agression. My all time favourite.

its nose and cockpit or better say front part is insane. Its the nost distinct and most alien of any aircraft
If this could be modified to incorporate good stealth features, then it would have greater survivability in modern combat as well.

What about Radar cross sections ?? Iaf didnt even consider su30 / su35 for mmrca it setteled on more costlier rafale , electronics suit isnt up to the mark in su 30 thrust vectoring and manurablity alone wont suffice higher cross section our saviour is the high mountabious terrain which blocks radar in certain stretches
radars can be added , thats not a problem for Su-30 's , Rafale are used for air-air def missions , Su-30 is a flanker with superior manuverability

It depends on how you you it i dont think rcs is a serious threat if they fly in a half or 1 squadran like in balakot strike sukhoi dogded 4 Amram missiles
With India's geography and its immediate neighbours, stealth does not matter much at all. Only thing that matters is BVR capability along with agility.

It is a super fighter, any air to air and air to ground missile can be deployed on SU 30MKI.
Upgrade their engines first with the best available. Then keep adding the other ornaments. If possible, make a new series with carbon composite bodies.
My only concern is why werent the newer engines not chosen for the Super Sokhoi, as it would've given it superior thrust to weight ratio.

Reduce yes, but it has limits
Stealth or rcs reduction is a very complex thing with multiple factors, inc structure and geometry
But yes some reduction is in work
Some problem with engine bearings I guess

How many IAF SU30s got crashed due the inept handling by Indian pilots? I know one incident where the SU 30 ejected both its pilots, another incident where the aircraft caught fire due to pilot error.

India needs Su 57 PAK FA at least 25nos and 50 more Rafale for the present situation.
