I love that adam recorded guitars and played the drums on this album between recording mixing producing drums guitars backing vocals on one song on this album. My last serenade. Whole records bad ass
Adam the goofy guitarist was originally the drums got sick of hailing drums said let's find a drummer cuz I'm joining joel on guitar he has a music degree in bass guitar as well lol
Check out the rest of the album. That’s Killswitch Engage’s second record and it’s considered to be one of the greatest albums ever in the new era of metalcore in the '00’s. The vocalist here is Jesse Leach and this was last record with the band up until he returned in 2012. You’re familiar with him since you reacted to The Signal Fire which contains both KSE vocalists!
My favorite album by them, I played this non-stop on portable CD! lol, my first summer studying abroad in Italy, played it on the trains and buses going across the country.
Watching "Parkway Drive The DVD", I found out Adam D produced Parkway Drives first 2 albums. "Killing with a Smile" was SOOO great. How will they ever top this. Then they did it. "Horizons" is a work of art.
I gots punched in this face with this album 20 years ago! Howard or Jessie as the vocalist, it all jams! Fun Fact: Adam D the lead guitarist produced their albums and does the backing vocals.
Actually he also recorded all the drums, Tom Gomes joined the band when the álbum was already finished... No disrespect to any of KsE members, but Adam D is the mastermind
Now I'm not 100% sure on this, but Adam d the guitarist actually tracked the drums on this album, what I'm not sure of is if he also did the guitar tracks with Joel, Adam d is one crazy talented musician and producer
I remember the first time I heard this. We drove 5 hours to a show in Milwaukee, WI, and Sentenced had opened the show. The backdrop fell and then next one said "Killswitch Engage". Ben asked me, "Who is that?". I had never heard of them. They stole the show from everyone! Dark Tranquillity absolutely killed! In flames had a good set. I just wasn't a big fan of "Reroute to Remain". KsE was the conversation all the way back.
This whole albumn is a damn masterpiece, so is this band. Nothing but bangers
HELLL YA! You get it I see you vibin to this jamb. Whole album jams

Adam D was the drummer during the recording and moved to guitar (he helped write most of the songs) He also produced the album

Its epic
I love your videos. I feel like I learn something about the music. Like
The gaps you talk about between the drums for the guitar! So cool
my fav KSE track for sure.
Killswitch time! Glad you enjoyed it
Amazing suggestion man. One of KSE’s best songs

The silly guy guitar play Adam played the drums on this album as well as guitar and he produced it as well. Serious groove skills going on 🤘🤘🤘
I agree on the drums, some bands just use the double kick for the whole song and it's way too much.
KILLER song
My favorite song
Temple from the within next please
Kse!
YESSSS numbered days is at least top 3 of their heaviest songs
Next one you should do is a bid farewell
Top ten maybe.
