@@tonallandesabor3054 your right I hear some of the same sound but not actually the exact version used in the movie. The movie version is just so perfect that anyting less isnt as good lol
Very good. The whole movie is a metaphor. Both men represent body and spirit. In the version corresponding to the body they died, whilst in the last moments Ben connects with her and they share this idea of paradise, laughter, unity which is where they are abstractedly depicted on the rewind. It's a metaphor for Adam and Eve, the forbidden fruit which brings death and loss of innocence, and so on. In the end, she did love Ben more or actually, as she discovered it is not practical in the world as it is to love both on equal measure. She said she didn't want to live without him, and dies side by side with him. Very interesting book and movie adaptation for sure. Aaron Johnson has played similar roles before, with Chatroom being another metaphor for similar concepts and inner battles.
I've founded 3 years ago on the official page of Adam Peters (now don't exist) it called " savages... Forces of nature" 7min duration. On UA-cam exist the short piece of 3min. Isn't is. I foundind this song since I seen this movie. Anywhere is. It's a really pity because is the best track of movie... Contact to Adam Peters someone pls
Those two lads were busted and vanished (probably they were Executed) And that girl became alone in the wish of repeating those past days with those boys again)
Those two lovers are a metaphor for the pre-sin Adam and the mortal one. She represents Eve, etc. If you pay attention her loving the 'fuck boy' for hard sex led them into the downing spiral of death and violence and loss of innocence, that with of course Ben also letting him get his way. The message here would be for people to prioritise the deeper meaning of life and relationships and purpose over greed and violence, but well it would be a short film then!
One of my favorite movies

Someone said that in the Book, they actually die and the rewind is about her last Moments alive. Also, They don’t seem to know where they are. Anyone?
Ben bled out and Chon and O overdosed to go with him. The three lay together in the sand during the shootout and died. The book ending was beautiful.
