What a tune❤❤❤
I cant express how much i love this movie…kevin bacon is a great actor, but he turned it up a notch in this…he really felt like a man who lost everything and turned into a killing machine, but when its all over the humanity comes back when he sits dying watching his family, powerful dark movie…..this movie shows the downside of vigilantism and doesnt glorify it, everyone is dead in the end “everyone thinks their right in a war”….

Thank you, God, lol. I've been trying to place this music for much of the day, after hearing it in an ad. I was like, I think it's from a movie, but a random one, a movie you wouldn't normally associate it with... then many hours later I had an epiphany. You're So Cool! (And so is the song).
The ending had me in tears when the gangster knew it was his time. Such a powerful movie.
Are you sure that's not Clint Howard?
함께라면 최악도 즐거워
2024 and still listening to it .
i need to watch this movie
❤
THIS SCENE IS FUCKING DEEP!!!! SO UNDER RATED !!!!!!
Don't wanna be annoying (but well, I am). I think anyone should take an art piece, as a song, as he likes. But, trust me, I'm italian, this is a very beautiful break up song. I wouldn't put it on at my wedding. Look at the lyrics if you dare. Despite a love ends, the world keeps spinning, that's the message .
god how long until i get my 10/10 qt autistic wifie
Yo amo esta cancion <3
Best casted movie ever!!!
Ok let’s try keep this in perspective
One of my favorite scenes of this movie... I'm speechless❤
This banger is actually a cover of an early 19th century piece by German composer Carl Orff. Zimmer's version is much more energetic and cinematic, as you'd expect. I've always wondered how he managed to convince the director to use such a cheerful, tropical sounding piece for his gritty crime film set in Detroit. It creates such an interesting juxtaposition.
Bro as a dad of 3 sons this movie hits different now!!
This song really worked for this scene. Props to the composer. 100000% To even create it. Just amazing. The singer is good but I prefer this while watching the movie cause she slaaaaaayed the Diva role. This movie was written by a 16 year old who had a rough up bringing and created his own escape by writing and coming up with this world. I don’t think it became a movie till he was in his late 60’s and although it bombed at first it took off after some time. I wasn’t even born yet but I love this movie so much. I remember seeing it and ruining my family’s vhs of it.
It came out when he was 38 not in his 60s. I was 8 years old when I first watched it in Russia. it was huge and sold out everywhere, as usual Europeans and Americans taste in movies are diametrically opposed.

Nailed it perfect tune
Gotta love this crazy little character. And her having such a beautiful singing voice for this is the absolute icing on the cake!
Bgm미첫다 이렇게 행복한장면에서 눈물을 흘리다니.. 너무아름다워
This movie is one those time when I like when the bad guy wins lol
I was 7 when this came out I remember watching it with my mom and dad and I never forgot about it I just had a dream last night about revenge on some people I wanted to get at and in the the dream it was very similar I don't remember it all but I do remember having to protect someone I just remember how strong I became and just as I was about to die I woke up out of it and typed this movie in life is short if you think about it im 24 years old now but I remember watching this movie and understanding it at such a young age I think this is why It impacted my reasoning on life so much so things can slide but not everything and when you have nothing else to lose you just crash out I would die the same way even If I have something left for me I would hope they would understand what I had do as a man right or wrong I won't have regrets on it firm on that the son will be alright or who ever if it comes to that
and the only way people will understand is through pain or love that's the only answer fuck all this normal shit that society pushes on us you fight for it
❤
One of the greatest films ever. Trust me.

Still one of the saddest movie I’ve ever seen, he lost everything his whole world… 😫😭💔
I am, too "Jaysv!" ☺I first heard it in Das Boot in 1981 ("Schwarze Augen" in German) & then got the soundtrack ( which is amazing ) & fell in love with that version. But I also love this version, which of course is in the original language. Another great song in the movies is Vladimir Vysotsky's Horses" in White Knights."Thanks VanE for posting !!!🙂
I have been listening to this song "You're So Cool" for over 30 years. This song has been always with me. Now, my son he is 13 yeas old loves this song too.
Nice!!!! This is how tradition is established 👍

These movies are so fucning corny. Nice white family getting brutalized by some make believe local gang. Cops that are so incompetent its hilarious. In real life the only places where organized crime can rise to that kind of brutal level, is when the police themselves are involved. The stupid body lines on the floor. The absolutely stomach turning camera edits, cant even tell whats going on half the time. Shitty lense filter. The 7+1 45 gun he carried shooting 25 times before needing reload. This movie could have actually been really good if they gave it just a touch of realism, but its clearly written and created by nepo babys who have had a silver spoon in there mouth there whole life, who have never experienced true crime or poberty outside of driving through a poorer segregated part of their city, which is disgustingly clear in his sons murder scene. How immature. Just because an area of town is poor doesn't make it fucking bagdad. Really immature execution of a story that would have been really good with a good dose of reality like corrupt gang style police department that litter our country.
*As someone who grew up seeing awful shlt. Two crackheads going at it on a seesaw. Well I thought they were crackheads, turns out the guy had killed this woman & after he was "finished" got up & walked away. We were 8 years old me & my friends when we witnessed this. The woman wasn't moving, as we made our way over to her we noticed the torn clothing, blood on her mouth, the smeared makeup where she'd been crying. Luckily for her it turned out he'd snapped her neck before doing what he did to her. The most unnerving part was this guy walked away & took a left on the street opposite where I lived. That street is a dead end so he either lived there or was staying with someone. This happened in 1993. I come back to my hometown & its still that same dump that I left behind, hell our biggest claim to fame was a Taxi driver going on a killing spree in 2010. But back on topic. The whole reason that crime didn't go anywhere was because the guy who committed the crime was the nephew of a "respected" police chief in my town & it didn't see the light of day until after the cop had been dead a few years.*
Oh go back to the hole you crawled out off and be miserable somewhere else. This movie is great.
When theyre cool, ya fucked.
