You could have used caviar from a different fish, and imitation in the test, that stuff goes for 5 to 20 euro...but it's probably not actually caviar, still interesting what the difference is in taste.
thank you for showcasing the opinions of regular “minimum wage workers” instead of influencers with money who would just tell us to go out and buy these things ❤
There is not much guesswork involved: Siberian sturgeon caviar, known for its pitch-black eggs, is the most affordable option. Russian sturgeon caviar, with its dark brown and greenish eggs, is preferred by many top French chefs; it is quite expensive and has a notably good flavor. Hybrid caviar, often referred to as Beluga-sturgeon or Bester, is considered inferior and is even cheaper than Siberian sturgeon caviar. Albino sturgeon caviar, while average in taste, is highly sought after for its rarity, making it a status symbol rather than a culinary delight. True Beluga caviar, distinguished by its large brown-green eggs, is the most expensive, largely due to its scarcity and its near-illegal status, comparable to Cuban cigars.
The best fish eggs were from the big minnows I caught as a kid. Fried the minnows and sauted the bright yellow eggs. Not bad. I've had the best caviar Russia can provide but ack. You can have my share of any grade. I'd rather pay the rent.
I'd love to see this as a series, farm to table.

I think he wanted to express why it was expensive throughout the video
@Josh, I would recommend LASIK then you can really appreciate all the beauty of food. Laughed so hard at the eye lash wiper segment 😂
Thanks for doing this video, very insightful
That's so interesting how caviar is made, awesome video!
I really enjoyed this video. I’d love more of these!! Farm to table.
4:34 APPLEWOOD LOW AND SLOW???????????????
Max can't fool us
I don’t see a nice sear on this fish
The subplot about you stealing his jacket was hilarious 😂
4:58 clean your glasses
It isn’t dirty his glasses are warmer than the outside so oxidation comes
Dirty glasses
Those new glasses? I really like them. Cool style. I'm gonna need new ones here soon, so I might try a style like that if I can find some...
Fun idea for a video (or series): *"Recreating dishes from Netflix’s Culinary Class Wars"*
The dishes are stunning, reworked classics with no recipes online-right up your alley. Fans would love it, and you could even invite mukbangers from the restaurant episodes to judge whether you nailed the recreations.
Some ideas: Mala dim sum (Jung Ji-sun) or Edward Lee’s reworked bibimbap!"
Would love to see this
This video bangs, it's always good to see the process of how our food is made, keep it up.
Hey Josh I just got to ask are you ever going to bring back the but better series I remember first finding your videos and it was the Popeye's Chicken Sandwich the first video I've seen of yours and I've been watching ever since are you going to bring that series back
Nah there’s no more cooking here
im loving these series where you do things like this. please make more vids on how foods are made.
20:50 as a minimum wage worker 😂
Wooow thank you for for a very informative video...... You have a new fan lol !! Greets from Germany !
Dude. This seems like the best possible answer to 'why do I want to be a professional/UA-cam chef?'
I do like caviar, but I'm also intrigued by the idea of smoked sturgeon, because I also love smoked fish, and do not want to see food wasted!
You could have used caviar from a different fish, and imitation in the test, that stuff goes for 5 to 20 euro...but it's probably not actually caviar, still interesting what the difference is in taste.
Me & my husband are trying this one day! Ain’t that right boo?🥰
That’s right boo😁
thank you for showcasing the opinions of regular “minimum wage workers” instead of influencers with money who would just tell us to go out and buy these things ❤
This video is a masterpiece. Great job Josh & Vicram. The CEO creating a jacket meme was also top tier content.
I liked that humor.
You looked like bubbles from trailer park boys starting around the 8:37 mark lol
love what Martins said at the last part of the video 👍👍👍👍
At this point I'd just gift the man a new jacket. Bro is just relentless about his jacket 😭😭
Josh looks like Eren's dad
This was a great episode! I feel like you out did yourself! Love it, love caviar. Can't have it like that but good.
One piece!!!! 5:54
One piece is REAL‼️
always wanted to know more about the process --- I was glued to this! nice one Joshua
