I'll admit, I've been lusting over various work benches for a long time. I've always heard about Roubo split-top workbenches being the holy grail of work benches. I've seen them in various magazines, short video clips etc. But I've have never seen someone go through all the options for the split top or the insert. Brilliant. I'm sold. I have to make one of these now.
I don't know what the critics are talking about. Looks like a professional filmed video and just for gins I followed the link to see how much you were charging for the plans. I was blown away to find there are free. Awesome table and plans. Thanks!

An excellent option for a joinery workbench, very well thought out and neatly executed😍😍😍. The author is simply a Master with a capital letter, health to him, honor and respect👏👏👏🤩🤩🤩🙏🙏🙏. And he's fine with a sense of humor✌.
This has got to be one of the best work benches I have seen. But after looking at the price to build one here in the UK, With importing the hardware from the USA you would have to be extremely rich. I think i will look at a more economical work bench. Why do firms try to stitch people up? The hardware is a basic screw tread with a heavy flywheel!

It's a good idea to let beginners like myself watching the whole processes in one clip. Great work! I like the way you use different colour of woods to make the workbench more interesting. Cheers! Neo
