(SPOILERS BELOW) : : : : : : : : Despite this being a april fools joke i like that it gives Maiko herself more depth as a character, while also showing alternate endings or 'futures' on what could've happened if she had chosen other actions as a result. This also shows the tragedy of her character as well, essentially being forced to work as a voice actor at a very young age while also lacking a support system, Maiko as a person shows a well done consequences of being a child actor, having a neglectful mother who could care less about her while also dealing with self delusions as a coping mechanism. It's actually a shame she was the first culprit in the first chapter as she very well could have developed more as a character, her freetime events with Shinku also fascinates me to a Degree, eventually showing her real personality in said freetime events. All in all, Maiko as a character i feel like is not looked more upon and is one of my top favorite character's in this fangan.
