Why am I watching this , I can barely pay rent
Mikey I have to thank you. It's because of watching your videos that I can actually get hungry enough to eat and work through being anorexic. Because of watching your videos I'm on the road to recovery. Thank you so much for that. I've watched other content creators but you're the only one I can actually eat while watching the videos.
If nobody has told you, I will say that I am proud of you. That's an extremely hard thing to overcome and I hope that nothing but good things come your way. May you have a happy and healthy 2024.
I hope you're well! I don't have an ED but my appetite is often very limited and watching Mikey during mealtimes helps me a lot.
Now I know where NOT to eat at Disney.
Unfortunately, at Disney you have 2 choices - expensive bottom barrel, or real expensive fine dining. Last time I went to the magic kingdom the food was terrible, you have to hit the satellites like Epcot or Animal Kingdom for good food.
@@TsunamiWombat I was about to tell you you were 100% wrong until you said there was good food at the other parks. Epcot or Hollywood are the places to eat. Hollywood has multiple great restaurants that aren't crazy expensive.
$295 I'd better be getting a full scale meal instead of a half of a bite of something that don't even look good
@@TsunamiWombatwe've had delicious meals at Disney.
What you don’t appreciate about the one bite is the accumulation. One good bite then 35 more. I’ve never left a tasting menu like this hungry. Usually over full
We all know he smashed a burger after that meal to fill up lol 😆.
Thanks for taking your appreciative viewers to such a fancy meal. We are enjoying that meal, vicariously, through you 😀
Yeah he's totally not mocking his viewers with his wealth...
@@nonyabusiness6048it's an eating channel. Must be not eat and video it. Dude has so many channels he works on constantly. He works really hard constantly. U just sound bitter someone is doing something in life that uncommon.
@@nonyabusiness6048damn you're sensitive
I wonder what happned to his girlfriend
Looks like they got a divorce
Always wearing a t-shirt to fancy places. Lol
I notice the same thing too 😂
White strawberries are a different subspecies and are fully ripe when white. I grow them in my garden.
Don't know how you do it but you're always the worst dressed person at these fine dining establishments.
Thank you for sharing your mouth watering experience with us 🎉😊
❤❤❤
Mike, we try to eat here once per year for our anniversary! Homerun every time. We actually requested our wedding song (You and I, Stevie Wonder) a couple of years ago from the harpist. She apologized and said she didn't know it. She went on a break and learned the song! She played it for us in the second set. Awesome experience. The sommelier and manager, Israel is a great guy. Glad you liked it.

That’s so cool that she learned it just for you!
WOW, only three umame's, are you sick Mikey?!
The Chef outdid himself. The presentation was delightful and colorful. The dishes contained some of my very favorite flavors, Passion fruit, Mango, Cherry , pink pineappl and white chocolate. I rate this 5 pigs!
🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷
seems sponsored
Your ability to mispronounce words multiple times is astonishing. You sure they gave you a job at Morgan Stankley?
Presentation is impressive , but the amuse-bouche will have me yearning for the main .
Looks like dress shirt and jacket is no longer needed ?
What an exquisite experience! Some of it is a little bit too gourmet for my taste but still very beautiful!
I feel sorry for the dishwasher 😂😂😂
ived worked as a dishwasher at alot of places and its pretty easy to clean off fancier dishes such as
I would ask the harpist to play music from the Harry Potter series just to troll Disney
This place has always been a dream for us to try ❤ - While we have done Napa Rose at Disneyland years ago, this looks much more elevated than the Chef’s Counter at Napa Rose 🌹
I thought the most expensive restaurant at Disney would be Club 33 but I think you have to have a special admittance to that place
A bit under dressed.
Sorry bud its baby food not for my
I wonder how Through the Fire and Flames would sound like on a harp.
😂
It's impossible to love anything especially at Disney. Lol. Everytime I've eaten at a disney restaurant, it's been bas.
Enjoy the way you describe food. Castelvetrono olives are my favorite. They’re so buttery. 🌺🌺🌺
To everyone sneering about the tiny portions and needing to go to McDonalds after - we went there in 2000 for our honeymoon (and it was about the same price - $250 for the meal per person, and a $95 wine pairing) - believe me, it is more than enough food. It is far more than it looks, and it is also very rich food. I am really trying, (and failing), to restrain myself from making a comment about ridiculous American attitudes towards food portions.
I know, I was getting so annoyed with all the comments about getting a burger afterwards. I love a good burger, but it's as if people can't fathom other kinds of dining experiences. Also, the comments about Mike needing to "go back to his roots" with the cheap eats. He still does that (previous two were the Costco and convenience store ones), and I appreciate those, but I sometimes want to see these. I've done similar tasting menus maybe once or twice in my life for special occasions, and the portions, though seemingly small, when it's that many courses (the ones I've had were 8 to 10 courses), it ends up being a LOT of food, certainly enough to fill a person up. About 99% of the time, we eat cheaply, and mostly cooking at home, but once in a while, I want to experience this level of dining, and it's good to do so to expand the palette. I sometimes do make amateur-level bougie food at home, because I can, but it's so much more fun when it's done at that top level by someone else. It does make me wonder (actually, not really, I've seen it) about the gargantuan food proportions people are used to. But that seems to be the general attitude, that any level of culture that is seemingly beyond reach (and it really isn't all beyond reach) is equated to pretentiousness.
I read, what was the top comment at the time for me, talling about how much more food youre getting compared to other places for the price. Kinda makes me wanna go.
Exactly. I went there on my honeymoon back in 1999, and the portions may look small to some, but they are usually very rich and surprisingly filling. I certainly didn't leave wanting for more.
I prefer Mikey s strip mall eats vids
Way to expensive for my tastes
All the men are dressed in shirt/jacket, engaged in conversation with dinner guest. Meanwhile, toddler over here in his best polo is busy dumping food down his throat pouch.
At first I thought that this was too expensive given the portion size and the price since one of the things I dislike the most about going to a restaurant is spending a lot of money and not even being full by the end. But then I saw the number of courses, plus all of the drinks and bread that you get served, and I think that this is actually one of the more reasonable fine dining experience that I've seen.
I've never ever not been satisfied portion wise after visiting a fine dining restaurant. I'm also the type who can easily eat copious amounts of junk food. It really is a myth that you remain hungry after visiting a michelin star place. Some do tailor to "the average person" so if you happen to be quite a big person I can imagine feeling slightly hungry still after the meal but that really isn't the restaurants problem, you'd have the same ordering a normal portion anywhere.
For folks who might be making assumptions about people's sizes in the replies, I am in fact a skinny Asian with a regular appetite who have tried a variety of fine dining restaurants in various countries, and I can say some give you a much better bang for your buck than others, hence my comment. For me, if you are spending $300 on a meal, being full is the bare minimum. I don't really care what is the "norm", because it really varies depending on which restaurant you are going to, as well as the type of cuisine they serve. (And frankly this type of presumptuousness is probably why a lot of people are turned off by the "fine dining" crowd.)
I have seen high end restaurants whose portions are ridiculously small for the price, and some that just inflate the value of relatively mid dishes by adding slices of truffle or caviar on top.
The whole point of this comment is that for this particular restaurant, while the portions individually are small, they give you a lot of creative courses that taste good based on the reactions, with a variety of delicious drinks and bread at no extra cost which justifies spending this much per person. The harpist who takes requests is a huge bonus as well.
I prefer the videos where an everyday person could go & afford, especially the secret local locations, but there's no denying it all looked splendid.
its $300. i think an everyday person could afford this if its just a once in a lifetime experience
Not only that but those snack size bites of food ain’t gonna fill me up 😂
@@nattobaby Most people can't afford to put $1,000 in their savings account over their lives. No, most people cannot afford this.
Who can afford that??😮
Please don't get me wrong, but that's too much money for too little food. I think the bread is the only thing that fills you up. Think about how many good meals you get for that much money.
The place looks like it is straight out of the 1970's. Looks like they market to the over 65 crowd.
Down with Disney
This place is too exclusive for me! Obviously Mike, you are being treated as royalty for the price this place commands.
You know it's a fancy restaurant when they have a harpist, my hole in the wall restaurants that I frequent have cockroaches playing the guitar.
Pretentious food does not match well with you Mikey
Man’s job is to vlog and the camera quality when showing himself eating is sooo poor 🤦🏻♀️
There’s people who eat food for the experience and people who eat food to just be sustained. Neither is wrong (especially when it comes to varying budgets+environment+preferences).
It’s interesting reading the comments because it’s half and half, but it would be so cool if everyone was able to have the opportunity to have an experience like this at least once in their life!
As someone who truly loves food, not just to survive, but to experience, I definitely appreciate this video.
I love the thought that goes into these kinds of dishes, each ingredient carefully thought out and the design of how it’s plated is justttttttttt ahhhhh. The size of these items always makes me laugh, but it’s super fun to be able to have something that looks like art that you can eat! It’s kind of like a culinary advent calendar that you get to unbox all at once haha
I wouldn't call those meals rather than snacks....
I worked at Citricos, the restaruant you see to the right of Victoria and Albert's door. I've always wondered what it was like in there. LOL
amoojbooch
Wow! The nice harp really tied together the whole experience. Thanks for showing us the good eats.❤
How much did Disney pay Mikey for this lol. Better to go to a proper restaurant if you're gonna blow close to 300 bucks.
I can’t trust Mikey anymore…this seems like Mikey got paid to promote overpriced small food portions from Disney's restaurant!
Yes, seems like it.
I’m the type of guy that would ask for her to play unravel from Tokyo Ghoul on the harp just to see if she could
He loves everything....
I would love to try that place but everything looks so much like shit. Hard pass.
the true magic of this meal is that it makes your money dissappear
Wait a minute, I thought there was a dress code. Men must wear a jacket. Why isnt he wearing a jacket?
It’s like the food from American Psycho movie 🍿 🎥
295$? Could have sworn i saw a video they said it’s 1k for 2 people
Nothing says "Anti Disney" more than this place. Not in tbe Disney Spirit.
portions were small asf like 50 dollars worth of food technically
I love seeing how far you've come from at the beginning of your channel, to now. You've worked hard for it and love all the places you see now. Enjoy your life and eat on.
🤨 Delightful! Thank you for sharing! ❤
What is this? A restaurant for ants?
It's called fine dining
I see bro is cashing Disney checks now..
No wonder wealthy people usually have lean figures
Beautiful. Looks amazing. ❤
I'm a sous chef and this gives me so much new recipe inspiration
I miss the cheap eats
Grew up going there and he’s lucky they didn’t throw him out. There’s strictly no loud talking or photography allowed.
Castelvitrano olives are my absolute favorite. I love the buttery taste they exude! This video was awesome!
❤❤
So little food for that much money, but darn it looked amazing!
Typical fine dining 😅
With that many courses, you do get full.
Exactly
My father took me here for my 16th birthday back in 2000 and it's honestly one of my most favourite memories I have with him. My best friend and I had planned on celebrating my birthday there with him in spirit 20 years later, but unfortunately, that's when the pandemic hit. I'm hoping we can, one day, dine there and create a new memory. ❤

Hi!
My name is Marthine, and im from Norway. I watched your video, and you said you liked the norwegian brown cheese. Do you want me to send you some and you can do a taste test?
Btw. Love your channel.
I'm reviewing this too! At some point in my life
Loved watching you try all those amazing courses. Next time you’re in LA, you should try Wolfgang Puck’s test kitchen.
Man if I was there I would of had that Harpist playing Studio Gibli songs from the movies.
Looks amazing!
umami again...try savory
Oh yeah...well im having beef cup of noodles 🍜 😢
Bro got a lunchable for 300$ 😂
NO! Nemooooooooo!!

Thank you for this video! I enjoyed that you showed the nonalcoholic drink option. As a non drinker I like seeing this latest menu. On my list for this year!

If you’re in Florida you should try and do a video with Gray Davis! I think you’d love harvesting your own dinner with him!
Great video. Husband and I wanted to know what was being served to make the price tag worth it, now we get it. 🔥
I’ve been there and couldn’t eat anything bc I’m allergic to seafood I just had bread
Come to world of food truck kissimmee florida i really would love your opinion on it. Its really good.
Unusual that every dish was so tasty, that hardly ever happens anywhere. Every dish looked amazing. Pricey, sure, but lifetime memories, too.
Crispy rice- it is heaven to me 🤤❤️ this was over the top gourmet but also realistic- wow my bucket list is to enjoy 1 night out like this in my lifetime🙏❤️
❤
We’re you full? You usually put down a lot more in other meals. Great restaurant
Every video... "maybe the best thing I had in my life" LOL
I couldn’t even afford to pay the 20% tips 😂😂😂😂😂n
OMG finally one of the first!!!! Mikeee love your videos sending you love from Mexico👋♥
Thank you!
@@strictlydumpling This may be a long shot but in the future, you should consider coming to Sonora so you can taste a totlally different type of mexican cuisine, Sonora has the best meat in the country because we are mostly ranchers and farmers, and also really great seafood. the best tacos and loaded hot dogs, in Hermosillo and Obregon, also San Carlos.😁
imagine saving up for this restaurant just to sit next to the guy vlogging the whole thing...
