I have only one puppet toon. It's in b/w and it's called the big broadcast. it was made in 1938. The sound isn't that great but it's a cool George Pal short.
@@fromthesidelines Correct; it's a commercial film for Philips lighting. Too bad that was cut out. It's very well done for its time (around 1938). The director, George Paul would leave for (as in: escape to) the US in 1939. He continued his Puppetoon shorts there for a while, then transitioned to fantasy and Sci-Fi movies. Thanks for this wonderful upload.

The part where the Philips product was revealed and promoted at the end of the film. This WAS a "commercial" for Philips, you know.
