+ALifeLost Gaming That's it? Wow, you lucky fuck! I ended up whaling off the coast of the Philippines with a bunch of rainbow bearded walruses I picked up on my way around the world in search of the way to open my disk drive!
+Zulu Centurion Bro where I'm at it's going to take a few days to actually get this posted.... just a few light years away.... on the planet Energma-2516
Thank you! I wasted so much time trying to figure out how to trigger it to open from the outside. The first 20 seconds helped me to figure it out. I've never had to open a DVD drive using the software before.
My Acer has no button or eject option but there is a cd tray...??? 🤔 How do I know if there’s even an actual CD player or what is this spot for? It doesn’t have dvd or anything written on the side!?
go to your documents. click on "computer" or this PC which should be in the menu. then scroll down to devices or DVD. Right click and it'll give you a menu. Then click eject.
My acer aspire laptop wont play dvds, it will treat it like a memory stick and try to show me all the folders within it but wont actually play it... ive tried downloading VLC
I've just bought an Acer (online) and it has no optical disc drive!! WTF. I didn't even consider the possibility that it would come without one. What are my options please. On the right of the computer there is a covering where the drive should be. Can I have one installed, or will I have to buy an external one? Really quite pissed off at this!
Yeeeah, mine didn't even have the DVD RW DRIVE, haha. So, I'm guessing that mine is one of those that just have the useless side, haha. (And that Sean Hewitt guy is really fucking cute, hahahaha)
