Glad you have the resources. I lived in a regular secluded house in Lafayette LA in the early 2000s. At one time I had 16 poor pooches in my house. At the time the local TV station KATC we're on a mission to air and embarrass folks who were kind enough to let strays in. When informants let the parish know there were several dogs at a place the TV team followed the gestapo dog hunters and put the heartbreaking ripping the dogs from their new home and into their wagon. We fled to Texas to stay safe. We came back home after they were shamed into media silence.
Breaks my heart that some of them were going to be euthanized due to no space in the dog shelters. They're safe now. Best life ever.

@@denisetilley3509Monsters are people who allow dogs to breed indiscriminately, or buy them but are unprepared for the responsibility of pets, and/or turn them loose or abandon them so they end up in overwhelmed shelters. I can assure you that no one working in shelters wants to euthanize any dog but space and resources are finite. It’s unfair to these animals but until people change their irresponsible behaviors this sad reality will remain. 😥🐾🐾

I hate that they call it euthanasia euthanasia is a mercy killing. This is just freaking killing dogs and other animals. I know that Lee has to be politically correct so that these rescues will work with him. Many blessings for you Lee and big hugs Asher.

All these dogs felt they were safe and those fearful or anxious melted within seconds of sensing you will provide that. Well done Lee, AH & the community who fight to save the handful of ones being disposed to make more space. Much as I can't fathom these laws this was special, worth the fight!
If the black terrier mix got along with cats, I'd take him on in an instant. I've had terriers alot an he'll come out of it with love & safety.
You're amazing, I just discovered your site yesterday, I live with 5 dogs they're my life, I have no family, sadly last year 2 of my rescues got into a fight , and I tried to separate broke my my middle finger in 28 places , no I have a permanent stiff middle finger, 😅 , I spend over 6000 on 2 dog trainer, it didn't work stil have to separate them , to be honest I cant watch youre vid i start crying

We have 3 dogs. 4 years ago 2 got in a fight and one ended up with multiple puncture wounds and a broken leg. She also had a large open wound on her broken leg. Because of the open wound she had to have an external fixator on her leg for three months. As you can imagine the cost put us in terrible debt. The dog who hurt her has seen many trainers who have quit. we have had three vets who said to kill him. We can't -we love him to much. We finally found a dog psychiatrist who gives him meds to calm him down. We love them all so much. They give us back so much more.
And this is why although I am disabled on SSD - I DONATE!! It’s not a lot but if we all give just 10.00 imagine the difference we could make!! ❤️❤️❤️

One of the most beautiful things about rescue day is watching Lee and the team learn what each dog wants in the moment. The patience with the Great Pyrenees and the smaller dog, as well as the joy and love with the dogs who were more exuberant. Rescue day is the best day.

I love what you do My Jazzy a beagle husky mix is 17 years old and she will be with me until one of us dies I don't care what I have to do I love her and I will never ever even think of abandoning her. What you do for these most precious of God's creations is absolutely fantastic there is no creature on planet Earth as loyal as a dog and they deserve love respect and a home so thank you for all you do for them.
