Just wonder why need to adjust the charing head orientation according to make the phone portrait to landscape or the otherway around. Quad lock can simply make it to circle plate than can rotate your phone anytime when riding.

Thanks! I went back and forth about ordering the poncho and decided not to only because the iPhone 12 that I have is supposed to be "weather proof" up to a certain extent. It doesn't rain a whole lot where I am either. Best of luck, I hope you love it! Be safe.

Is it me or did these used to come with various adaptors for wiring this unit into the bike and now there’s hardly anything?!
I think you’re correct. Here is a link to what it used to come with. I didn’t have the first gen so I’m not 100% sure.

You shouldn't need to ask this if you this have the box to the charger... 🤔
I’ve had mine for 4 months and the unit just stopped working, led light will flash different colors, sometimes it doesn’t light up and most importantly it won’t charge my phone
Oh man! I hate to hear that! I haven't had any issues with mine like that but I changed bikes and haven't been able to install it yet on the new bike. Did you reach out to Quad Lock for any type of warranty assistance? They were really great when I needed help from them. Let me know how it turns out, best of luck and be safe!
This is great if it just works, but mine didn't. Is there any trouble shooting for when it simple doesn't turn on?
Dang, that really stinks! I can't say I know what to do to troubleshoot but I can tell you that their customer service was top notch for me and I guarantee that they would take care of this for you immediately. Best of luck and be safe.

Remember, there's a power button on the backside of the Charger.

So...the wireless mount base needs to be plugged into power so the "wireless" specifically refers to no wires connecting to your phone from the Quad Lock mount. Here is the link for the phone charger that I got from Amazon that works great and has a power on/off button which I really liked:

Do I have to change my cellphone case…
Probably, depending on the phone mode you have. . But there is a universal adapter you can put on a phone case. And they even sale a small kickstand separately that can go with it. Just keep in mind to use a phone case you don't mind getting a bit rough with.
In my opinion, Quadlock really messed up by not having the cable hard wire into the unit. The plug option is just another annoying place that can rattle loose. Plus it's not really water resistant.I would get one if this wasn't the case!
You need to look into the website, don't let your ignorance fool you.
There actually is a hardwired wireless charger option, but the thing is it doesn't have a cutoff box that comes with it (iirc, I kind fo skimmed over what it offers)
It doesn't get loose, look very closely, there are gaskets on the USB C end of the cable, it's a BIch to get in, and a bich to get out. Once it's in it ain't going anywhere.
Also, the kit even comes with a right angled cable (iirc it's the longer one in the pack) for tighter and more convenient spacing.
I'm sure ei may find myself in a pickle when choosing how to mount my charger. I don't have a SAE power coupler unit on my triple tree forks.
