Pennsylvania has one of the highest fuel tax in the East and all of the country. So it’s best to fuel in it if you’re going to run in the state. It will help you save on IFTA taxes. Have a good Sabbath Brother. Thank you 🙏🏿 again for sharing.
My question is if your are running under your own authority and are power only do you haft to run E Log or can you run Paper log if your truck is a pre 2000.
Do you think i can get 2500 to 3000 consistent miles and gross at least $5000 at jb hunt in this market? I currently have an sfi truck and i am struggling to keep up where i am at so i am looking to make a change. Any feedback would be appreciated
I think if you can run 3k miles you will gross that but you will be doing a 34 hour reset every week I run 2300 miles and gross 4500 to 5k if I ran 3k miles I would hit 5k easy with jb hunt
I have an SFI truck and I’m going to JB HUNT this Monday and I’m not gonna lie. I’m nervous as hell cause I’m barely making it now and I don’t know if JB HUNT is going to be any better fingers crossed.
@@Truckingwithceddy I completed my SFI contract two years ago and paid off my truck but I sold it. Had a great experience with SFI, thinking about doing it again
@@Truckingwithceddy 👀 I just checked it out good tip I was thinking sfi very pricey I’m tryna do J.B. hunt lease and run tractor supply can you see that one on your board I heard that one is a daily rate
@KingBlackSoul you might think that but to be honest being local mean working 12 to 14 hours aday 5 days aweek 1 hour drive to work 30 to it 30 back that's 15 hours your gone you sleep 7 so all you have is 2 hours that's not good either
This is super helpful. I spoke with a recruiter today that told me the loads are all drop and hook. Is that true? I’m accustomed to pulling doubles for FedEx so this may be a little different.
The $270 is probably for PA. You should buy just what you need for PA, in PA, otherwise you will owe. I have heard, and maybe someone can chime in, that PA will also penalize you for not buying fuel. Again, truck driver talk so might be complete BS. I keep track of my PA miles and near the end of the month get whatever I used for PA fuel in PA to cover. Never owed a dime to PA. If you run PA regular (which no one really wants to do unless they live there), this might be a solution.

If your under your own authority run whatever you want but you will have to get a carrier package approved by JBHUNT to run there freight
@@Truckingwithceddy gotcha!! Appreciate you getting back with me. 👊🏼

No if your leased you use there trailer free of cost
Do they pay for the deadheading?
