@@QueTheChaotic Not really for me I just had problems with seeing cars coming up on the side of me like they were in a weird blind spot and then I saw one of your other videos about where to adjust the mirrors and that pretty much fixed that, before the mirror adjustment I would just turn my head around to look and see if any car was there, but the one thing that all Camaro owners suffer with is definitely going to a drive through ATM lol.

I've driven some camaros. One was a 2017 and the other was a 2018. I had no issues with visibility.
appreciate the video, deciding between 1ss and 2ss. Only feature I want in the 2ss is blind spot and rear view, figure there has to be an aftermarket option
much love - great video. I have a 2010 and in my opinion it's both the deck height of the hood and also a very tall dashboard that obscures visibility. also the a pillars are rather thick not to mention the rear deck height is ridiculous. but of course I'm used to it now!
Planning on picking up a 2SS very soon down in Texas, but blind spot monitoring & the rear view camera is a must
You HAVE to have the rear view camera. I can do without blind spot monitors but I’d rather have them than not.
You are right about the side mirrors. People make the mistake of viewing the car and not the road. When I bought mine dealer gave me the mirror lesson. Watch out for that salt lol.
It was an adjustment at first for me with my 2SS. Since I have an F150 Truck. But being my Camaro is a convertible and has the Camera Mirror when top is up. It is not too Bad. I'll think I will take your advice and readjust the side mirrors to help as well. Thanks! P.S. Luv the color! I got the same !
The problem I had with my Camaro wasn’t the mirrors, it was the giant black plastic in the rear quarter panel. Looking to see if traffic was coming from that direction is impossible when approaching an angled intersection like Jos Campau and Conant. The mirror won’t allow you to see traffic coming from over your shoulder at intersections like those. But I loved my Camaro anyway. Lol
Good training video for me Que. Coming from an MB E350 Coupe, it shouldn't be too much of an issue. Do you have the mirrors set for auto down tilt when the car is in reverse. Used that setting all the time in the MB and I understand my ordered 2SS has it too. I have the Sun roof too to keep things open, so I'm hoping its just a minor adjustment. That 15 minute test drive wasn't long enough.
Awesome. I also do the auto tilt in reverse. It helps. You should have memory seats and mirrors and they help too.
I think the cabin interior feels awesome such a unique feeling, the only blind spot I have issue with is the side mirror itself with my driving position it can block cars I need to give way to at intersections, I have to try and look round it to make sure no theres no traffic coming before I take off.

Nice vid. I think what it really comes down to is, learn to make it a routine at all times to look at your side mirrors after they are properly adjusted like you did in this vid. Make the aforementioned a good habit. This way, any car or truck you drive afterwards, you are set. Thanks and nice car-)

I had a 2015 Camaro Convertible. The blind spots were horrible. Blind Spot Monitoring really helps!

I use my rear view camera more than I do my side mirrors. With the ability to zoom out, I feel I can see the cars to left and right of me better.
Yes are right adjust your mirrors and you are good. I actually can use my rear view mirror without the camera. I am 6’1” and have no issues seeing. My only grip is the backseats are for storage not sitting. But I knew that going in. Nobody rides in the back anyway.
I just pickup 17 Camaro ZL1 wit only 8k. Visibility isn't a major issue. Only if to me if ur trying cut 3+ lanes of traffic at once. I do have blind spot assistance it's a major help. OBVIOUSLY thoses should know what your getting yourself into as far a visibility. I love you car! It was a dream car years and years of hard work on my credit and patience. It's already HAS A CORSA EXHAUST AND DUAL RADAR DETECTORS.FULL.AND BACK. And a ROTO FAB INTAKE all already installed. I'm very bless.

Hey Q, I drove a 2010 SS and now a 2017 ZL1. It took some getting used to, but not a problem anymore. Really, the ZL1would do great in Germany, especially on the Nürburgring. When I was stationed in Germany, I drove European cars that had some worse visibility and on the Autobahn that's not a good thing. Thanks for the great videos. Quick question, how did those tires do in that weather? At that temperature, those tires are hazardous.
That would cause problems on the autobahn. You're welcome! These tires suck in this weather. It's hard to take off aggressively but I take it easy since i'm still breaking it in.

Bro I can agree with you with all the BEEPS. Everytime I back into my driveway to get under the car part. I gotta past by my mom's car and it always beeps when I pass it even tho I'm no where near hitting it. I mean it's close but it's bout as close as you was to your Blazer. So I just make sure I actually look and once I know I've cleared enough I ignore the beeps. But yeah man I agree with you 100% visibility is overblown. If you drive period you'll be fine. The only issue I ever had and I said this before was when I test drove it. It was real dark at night and I'm ok at driving at night as long as I'm in a familiar area but I was in a side of town I had never been at before and I almost scuffed the wheels on a curb while turning right but the salesman corrected me mid drive lol But other than that I've had zero issues. Personally I'm just antsy about pot holes now. Visibilty is the least bit of my issues with the all the cameras and sensors I got on my 2SS.
You were brave to do that test drive at night. That had to be a real struggle

The visibility isn’t an issue, is there less visibility then most cars yes but the uniqueness of the interior coupled with the performance and you’ll soon forget any issue you thought you had with visibility

Driven all 3, not a real big visibility difference but it's the feeling you get in a camaro, it's much more connected. I will say my 5th gen is a tad bit more comfy than the 6th gen I test drove.

The visibility is whacked on the passenger side otherwise you good. The rear view camera ia a gold mine, the blind spot monitoring is a gold mine, it's still good to have that tiny blind spot mirror on the passenger side to be safe

I use to be a head turner until I bought mine, just got to use your mirrors instead of turning your head and I have no problem with my Camaro.
Had a 2014,2016, & 2019. Never had a problem with visibility.
Did you have a rear view camera on the 2014?

Not sure who lied, but the visibility out of these cars just sucks. There's no nice workaround for that. I am a former Chevy guy. Proud owner of a 2000 Z28 Hurst T-top. a.k.a. the last year of the real Camaro. Gen 5 and 6 Camaros have horrific visibility. I even ran a new 5th gen into a pole myself, because you cannot see ANYTHING on the passenger side front. Like, nothing. The 4th gen is the last real Camaro. I said it.
