I think it’s sort of an Anakin/Luke relationship; Boruto will be the key to Naruto creating true peace, even if Naruto gives his life for it in the end like Anakin.

We still have to deal with the otsutsuki god, which has recently got his name revealed, and has been shown. There’s so much more they’re building up to then just kawaki. And you’re going to need someone to be able to rival the god of otsutsuki, who better than an amped up sage of six paths Naruto. I feel like Boruto we’ll deal with kawaki, while Naruto will be the front force against the god of otsutsuki.
I think Boruto is about defeating the prophecy. The prophecy given to him at the start of the show that he will lose everything which partially came true but he will eventually regain his bonds that he lost. I also think that even though Naruto was prophesied that he will reunite the tailed beasts and break the cycle of hatred, it was his actions and choices and of the people around him that made him walkthrough his path. Similarly Boruto has and will have his own new prophecy and that his choices will affect his path which is different from his father's. One such action of Boruto was not losing hope even after he lost almost everything because of Eida which could have gone way wrong.
I always interpreted Jiraiya’s student was decided by who won the fight had Nagato won his student would have led the world to mass destruction since Naruto won it was led into an era of peace hence the prophecy not being wrong either way. Your details are impeccable, I had a similar theory but a bit simpler. What If Naruto is the Spark. What I mean by that is if Naruto gave into evil and destroyed the world that would be one outcome. But since he didn’t there was peace. But what we know about peace in the real world is that it has to be guarded. What if Naruto’s lineage and Sasuke’s lineage (your observation) being roped in as well are the guardians of peace and as long as that lineage survives so does peace.
The first prophecy about Naruto simply stated that a student of jeriya would bring about great change. Naruto caused not one or two nations to be united but all of them, this ushering in a period of prosperity and piece at least compared to what has existed. Then the Uchiha tablet had a second prophecy about the tailed beasts. That is the prophecy that we do not know if it has come true.

I am usually with Nick's theories, but I think there is one thing that pokes a pretty big hole in this theory. At the time that the toad sage foretold prophecy that event was supposed to be the end of the world. If Naruto had not stepped in, the world would have ended and there would be nothing afterwards. So you would not see any other events that could destroy the world because it already has been destroyed. You wouldn't be able to see any further until that event was dealt with.

I think that Nick is over looking a lot of narrative explanations for the sake of this video. In Naruto Shippuden it’s explained to us a child will befriend the Tailed Beasts, and bring peace to the Shinobi World, and end the Cycle of Hatred that’s existed for a millennia. Naruto did this… He gained the cooperation of all the Tailed Beasts learning their names from Shukaku to Kurama, and afterwards ended the Cycle of Hatred with which was derived from Indra/Ashura’s rivalry. The Cycle of Hatred stuff was tied to the history of Shinobi and Ninshu however what we see in Boruto has evolved beyond that. We are dealing with the Otsutsuki clan fighting against their influence. Boruto’s prophecy proclaimed “Those blue eyes will take everything away from you”. Referring to what happened in chapters seventy eight through eighty. Boruto will attempt to regain what he’s lost, and prove Kawaki wrong. Boruto has already shown his tenacity by not falling into despair and being overtaken by Momoshiki, and fighting against Kawaki proving to him that shinobi still have a place in this era even though the Otsutsuki have began to influence the world. He’ll (Boruto) fight against Kawaki and his belief that shinobi are destined to die early deaths.

I hate this theory, Naruto has to be the child of prophecy, Kashinkoji isn't Jiriya. Baruto is very strong and fair enough as he is Naruto's son; However, the toads prophecy was met and learned by a dream in which she always sees the path thats true. There is one problem I have with this. And that is that the great toad sage told jiraiya that he saw him become one of the greatest ninja perverted and all. And so far we have not seen Kashmir Komi doing anything perverted. Meaning that the great toad did not see kashin Komi correct? Yeah I don't think so, I get what you're saying, but there are numerous problems about this theory. The tailed beasts did get unified under naruto and did become at peace with humans. Kurama is dead. Jiraiya and Kashin are two different people, yes they share dna, but they are still two different people, just like Hashirama and yamato, different personalities and appearance, different motives as well as slightly different abilities. Also it could be argued that naruto did technically achieve piece, because he ended the cycle of hatred especially between indra & ashura, and he unified the nations. I highly doubt that extraterrestrials had anything to do with the prophecy of the toad sage, that is a completely separate and different issue not to mention that Boruto has his own prophecy that is not only separate to the one of the toad sage but actually an antithesis and contradiction to what naruto was supposed to do and represent. That's because during naruto shipudden, the series was clearly implying that HE IS the child of prophecy and he was the reincarnation of ashura, and we know that ashura unified people and preached piece by reaching out to indra. At the end of the day IN FICTION there could be a prophecy about something that will happened in the future, and it happens, but then something else happens afterwards that has nothing to do with the initial prophecy. I was always thinking that naruto prophecy was not done and would be continuing in boruto. The prophecy was something only he could do. In the war sasuke,kakashi,sakura and obito... helped for that peace. I think something will happen in the future were naruto has to step in.

I think that Nick is over looking a lot of narrative explanations for the sake of this video. In Naruto Shippuden it’s explained to us a child will befriend the Tailed Beasts, and bring peace to the Shinobi World, and end the Cycle of Hatred that’s existed for a millennia. Naruto did this… He gained the cooperation of all the Tailed Beasts learning their names from Shukaku to Kurama, and afterwards ended the Cycle of Hatred with which was derived from Indra/Ashura’s rivalry. The Cycle of Hatred stuff was tied to the history of Shinobi and Ninshu however what we see in Boruto has evolved beyond that. We are dealing with the Otsutsuki clan fighting against their influence. Boruto’s prophecy proclaimed “Those blue eyes will take everything away from you”. Referring to what happened in chapters seventy eight through eighty. Boruto will attempt to regain what he’s lost, and prove Kawaki wrong. Boruto has already shown his tenacity by not falling into despair and being overtaken by Momoshiki, and fighting against Kawaki proving to him that shinobi still have a place in this era even though the Otsutsuki have began to influence the world. He’ll (Boruto) fight against Kawaki and his belief that shinobi are destined to die early deaths.

Nothing last forever... Naruto and Sasuke sealed the prophecy loop. Boruto is in his own journey. Peace in Naruto's era is still there. On another note. Kurama can easily come back. He's just sentient chakra. Enough combined chakra pools and an idea of Kurama's personality could bring it to life. All 8 could combine enough to resurrect a new Kurama.

I hate this theory, Naruto has to be the child of prophecy, Kashinkoji isn't Jiriya. Baruto is very strong and fair enough as he is Naruto's son; However, the toads prophecy was met and learned by a dream in which she always sees the path thats true. She saw a tailed beast in this prophecy and baruto does not have a tailed beast. All of the theories here gather into a very hypothetical and far out timeline. Naruto can still fulfill the prophecy if he continues in his life.

There is one problem I have with this. And that is that the great toad sage told jiraiya that he saw him become one of the greatest ninja perverted and all. And so far we have not seen Kashmir Komi doing anything perverted. Meaning that the great toad did not see kashin Komi correct? Of course he could become perverted by unlocking more of jiraiya’s memories but I find that highly unlikely.

Yeah I don't think so, I get what you're saying, but there are numerous problems about this theory. The tailed beasts did get unified under naruto and did become at peace with humans. Kurama is dead.
Jiraiya and Kashin are two different people, yes they share dna, but they are still two different people, just like Hashirama and yamato, different personalities and appearance, different motives as well as slightly different abilities.
Also it could be argued that naruto did technically achieve piece, because he ended the cycle of hatred especially between indra & ashura, and he unified the nations.
I highly doubt that extraterrestrials had anything to do with the prophecy of the toad sage, that is a completely separate and different issue not to mention that Boruto has his own prophecy that is not only separate to the one of the toad sage but actually an antithesis and contradiction to what naruto was supposed to do and represent.
That's because during naruto shipudden, the series was clearly implying that HE IS the child of prophecy and he was the reincarnation of ashura, and we know that ashura unified people and preached piece by reaching out to indra.
I think it's a baseless assumption to say the prophecy of the great road sage wasn't fulfilled at the end of shippuden. At the end of the day IN FICTION there could be a prophecy about something that will happened in the future, and it happens, but then something else happens afterwards that has nothing to do with the initial prophecy. That's exactly what's happening in boruto.
