I have over 70 pairs of shoes, and I have to say that the Cielo X1 is my overall favorite. I use it as an all-around shoe. That being said, I can't wait to see how much better the Cielo X1 2.0 will be.
The irony is that’s the problem with it, a race day shoe shouldn’t be an all around shoe! It’s a great shoe just not a race day specific one to me. The 2.0 is a complete overhaul, my hope is tech and setup of the 1.0 trickles into the skyward x 2 model which I’m assuming would come out in 2026
@@raddadbodtv I give them credit, they listened to feedback on needing more cushion in the forefoot. It's gutsy though to change it at this point in time with a very loyal following.
I feel like the Hyperion line is kind of for the more modern runner for those who are looking for innovation while the ghost has been that really safe option or familiar option for those who have been with the brand for 20 years. Going from 12 to 10 honestly isn’t a huge change but people get really really picky about models especially when they’ve been consistent like the ghost
Cielo X1s are very fast shoes but unfortunately the weight lets the shoe down for me especially for a 'Marathon shoe' the Rocket x2 is the best from hoka in my opinion
I fully agree, I thought the rocket x2 was almost perfect for me tbh. Was hoping the Cielo would be better and while I like it I feel it’s more of a super trainer rather than a race shoe
@raddadbodtv I couldn't agree more to this day the X2 is the best Hoka shoe in my opinion. Haven't tried the Mach X2s personally but the Mach X were very good. The only downside is having the cash for all the new shoes coming out.
Good stuff UnderArmour ❤
Seems like some good stuff coming our way!

Brooks is actually changing the drop on the Ghost from 12 to 10mm. That is a huge change for that shoe and their loyalists.
Just double checked and you’re right, that’s actually shocking considering brands like Hoka and Altra are actually INCREASING in some models

@@raddadbodtv Us runners are a finnicky bunch lol
9:53 i was wondering what is the brooks shoe behind because the colorway looks like new balance fresh foam.
That’s the glycerin 22!
