The Nimbus is very comfortable, but too slow, only for long, easy runs. It also helped me during my recovery from injury. However, I definitely prefer shoes with any kind of energy return

Hi, which shoe would you choose for a 240lbs runner breaking 3:30 hours in a marathon?

I run between 2-5 miles on days that I do (I’m trying to run every day as a general thing). Do you think this show would fit that role? They’re on sale this weekend and it’s tempting.

Would this be a good everyday shoe?

I was told at the On store that with the peba in the sole that it will be much shorter lasting than their predominantly eva based foams. 300 miles max was what was relayed for these.

I have over 50 miles on this particular shoe. It has been a very fun shoe for me. I usually do not get a second pair of the same shoe unless it works for me. I did that with the Saucony Speed 3 as I enjoyed that shoe. I see myself doing that again with the Rebel V4

I really liked this shoe when I tried it on in the wide…..but I worry about the upper in the toe area it seem soooo thin. Have you heard any issues with people getting holes in the upper easily?

i hate how clunky peg trails have become. i regret not getting more of the 2s. the closest thing ive found is the cloud ultra 2s, which fantastic.

Your reviews are so damn solid. Great video. What distance would you take these shoes up to? Would you be comfortable up to e.g. 50 miles in these for a single effort? & w.r.t. the traction, did you manage to test the grip on any rocky terrain (dry conditions of course)?

I love the reviews, and I find your content useful on here and other socials. One thing that I really like to hear is comparisons to older models because I often buy older models to save money and getting an opinion if there is a substantial difference is super useful. Definitely going to check out these and the Rebel V4s, your reviews on both have really helped now just going to see how they feel under foot

Those hoka for running are ridiculous. What is with that insanely fat sole. I use NB minimus with vibram sole and can't imagine squishing around some foam every jog I take

I currently have the 1080v13. How would these compare to those? Would these complement each other or too much of the same thing?

I have put 100miles into mine , still making me smile. That EVA/peba blend really works and if you have a larger volume foot then as long as you size up half a size (for the length) you will be good to go. Looking forward to the upcomming pacer due to my experiance with the rebel v4 (and that is my favorite shoe so far , all others are from 2023)

More v4 : 32,5mm/27,9mm 1080 v13: 34,1mm/28,5. These are the real stack heights! Not what new balance claims. For sure if you made this review, you also can check it. It's available for everybody, were they cut the shoes in half, to take measurements. That being said the 1080 has more stack height than the more!

A pair of shoes that was crowned s as the best daily trainer of the year by most reviewers gives me terrible calf pain no matter what I do. And a pair of shoes that everyone on UA-cam hated works for me even though they’re not the most enjoyable shoes I’ve ever run in.
