Oh my god thank you. Synchro art's tutorials suck so much because they skip over the basic stuff like that you explained in this video. I couldn't even make sense of what I was looking at but this tutorial already helped me get my bearings and precisely tune some samples as I was following along.
Here is a trick that uncover out tuned vocals.. solo the vocal and add a dense reverb of 1sec to it, add a legato sine chord below.. the reverb uncovers all the bad tuned short ins and outs of fast note phrases as well.. if you stop at any time..
I really missed the Logic Pro X integrated pitch correction when I moved to Ableton years ago. This plug in seems to have a similar workflow to the Logic version! Looking forward to trying this out 😊
Even when used subtly I heard it change more in an electronic-y way than other tools do. It doesn't really cost less than other options so I'm not sure why someone would use this over others.
Synchro Arts - y’all clearly got plenty of time to recruit influencers and release broken updates. Here’s a thought: cut that out until you can untangle the customer support disaster you’re clearly in the middle of
Hi! This might sound like a super stupid question, but I've been looking everywhere for a solution so I'll try my luck here I'm currently using RePitch in Audacity, I was able to capture the vocals, but I can't seem to figure out how to play it back without RePitch capturing and overwriting everything? How do I get it to play within RePitch? (I'm so confused, every video says just press play. I already tried selecting all, set as playback loop, and play selected, but it just won't play)
ctrl+shift+mouse wheel is the worst combination for panning and zooming! why can't I change this in the settings? for example to a normal scroll and holding the wheel without these ridiculous two extra buttons?
Truthfully, they both do the very same thing almost the very same way. I have both. I had Melodyne first and still use it instinctively. The key to both is having a good ear and enough music theory to maximize them. Now Vocal Align is diff! It's really beneficial for aligning tracks. Rt now is a good time to buy too for Blk Fri. Hope this helps!
personally, the more ear friendly of the two is Melodyne.. RePitch sounds too robot-like.. RePitch is basically a mix between Flex Pitch in Logic Pro X and Melodyne. (Flex Pitch is garbage unless you plan to only have it in the background with tons of reverb, or slightly changing some vibrato or drift) Melodyne is the way with any main voc !
@@REZMIXBEATZ huhh?? 😂😂 It woul have costs me 112pounds to get it, buuuut; i already got Melodyne Studio, so i personally, really dont need it. Anyways; moneys not the issue… The issue is finding the plugins that fit your workflow. And Melodyne with ARA and VocALign Ultra is magical. Very speedy workflow on my part.
Flex Pitch is temperamental at best. Repitch gives you the same sort of controls as FP but the difference is you can tune faster. Also the ARA version allows you to use it in your DAW without having to leave the main window. The Shaper and Draw tools allow you to affect only the regions you want changed without affecting the entire phrase as well. Sometimes I’ll have a vocalist use too much vibrato that one or two cycles drift off pitch, I can use the shaper tool to correct just that region rather than reduce the vibrato of the entire region. FP doesn’t give you that option. IMO Repitch is a bit ahead in the game right now and Apple will eventually incorporate all these features in to Logic.
It's very strange that it's so uncomfortable to work with vocals in Abletone. If I have a lot of vocals, it's a huge waste of time to record each of them into a plug-in! Especially considering that many programs work in ARA (like this plugin by the way). That's why, for example, in Reaper this plug-in instantly picks up the sound and works perfectly (unlike Abletone).
Melodyne very well might sound better with better algos or something - but I will never know because it is such a chore to work with and is the inverse of intuitive UI and design.

Its so much like Reason's built in pitch editor, which is a good thing because thats one of my favorite things about that (former) DAW.
This track bangs ngl
Lovely plugin, just got it and I'm learning to use it. Not too pricey like some other pitch correction plugins.
What a voice!!!😊😊😊
👏👏 we love you Reid!

I believe trackpad users have it easier with pinch-to-zoom gestures
Love using Revoice pro too💪🏽💪🏽
Is it possible to fix some volume issues as well and create a toneless voice to get more air, like the in Flowers by Miley Cyrus, with RePitch?
Fire! What a great voice and you got da tech stack DOWN! 🔥
Can it quantize timing for you?
thanks
Could you do a podcast with KARRA and KSHMR? Outside preferably as usual ☀️
what makes this better than melodyne?
The price
What are the requirements for a perfect laptop for music production.
Any MacBook Pro new or used will have more than enough power for music. I don’t recommend windows because of limited accessory compatibility
Is there is difference between Repitch and Melodyne studio?
I current have Melodyne, and I'm wondering if I need repitch as well.
I have the same question

Would love to connect w you bro 🙏🏾 look up Evan Ford
What a rack… vocal!!
Is this a real song?
almost $500 worth of plugins and you still need to tell it what to do....
RePitch is intentionally designed to be a manual pitch correction tool. However VocalIgn does everything automatically in a couple clicks

what happened?
There are too many real singers to worry about autotune crap.
lmaooo
This relatively new singing style sounds so bad. Its like they are singing with a good portion of their mouth and tongue completely dead-numb.
