I popped for it earlier today w/ the extra 10% off. Looking forward to putting it through its paces. I would’ve have skipped it if it weren’t for your video. Thanks! Will hit you back.
DUDE!!!! One the best demo's I've seen. Great way to explain things with real life examples... you've got a gift my brother! Keep up the great work.. God bless..
It's a perfect replacement for Malodyne at a very reasonable price. Thanks for a simple and useful tutorial. I am planning to buy it during this Black Friday sale!! I am using the trial version from the last few days !!
Been using Logic X's flex pitch, which does an ok job, but I've consistently found distorted artifacts get introduced on a vocal when changing pitches which is annoying. Have you found with re-pitch that it introduces any sort of stand-out artifacts when you've been pitch correcting? Your vid is definitely giving me confidence to invest in purchasing the vocalign bundle with the re-pitch addition.
That’s the biggest advantage over Flex Pitch. You can make incredible adjustments with no artifacts (at least I haven’t experienced any when using it!)
Great presentation, loved it! Overall, the only thing I noticed here that doesn't exist in Melodyne is the ability to re-draw the waveform, which is amazing. Am I missing anything else?
Thanks for a very insightful review Phil. I too am a long time Melodyne user, but I own Revoice Pro 4 and Ultra. Haven't used them as much as I had hope, due to just being faster on Melodyne and singing well enough to use Waves Real-time for touch ups. But, I am digging the handles on repitch! They took the best of Melodyne and made it easier to get to the result we all want! I used to do some insane tuning gigs for work, but Repitch seems to bring the fun back and their algorithm does sound supernatural.
Have you guys compared the sound to VariAudio 3 in Cubase? Because Variaudio seems to have many more features. Just curious if this thing is totally redundant for Cubase users.
This is a great review and tutorial, thank you 🙏🏼 Been a Melodyne user for over a decade. Keep hearing about how good RePitch is - this has convinced me to give it a shot now that Pro Tools and RePitch has ARA compatibility. Also, what reverb are you using on the vocal?
Hello, I am a friend from China. I am very happy to read your tutorial. May I ask why your page has section lines, while mine doesn't? Is it necessary to set up somewhere? 1 回复
ctrl+shift+mouse wheel is the worst combination for panning and zooming! why can't I change this in the settings? for example to a normal scroll and holding the wheel without these ridiculous two extra buttons?
Could be a system issue, not plugin? How are your recording settings? If it plays fine and only artifacts on bouncing that is likely a system issue. Even a bounce in place? (If you use logic)
How do you delete sections of captured audio if you want to record a new part? I tried highlighting the section and hitting the trashcan (Im assuming is delete) but it deletes the entire session. And I for sure do NOT have the entire song or section selected.
@@producerhat thanks for getting back to me brother I appreciate it. I’m on studio one pro. The issue is if I try to put in a new vocal part. Like let’s say I don’t like the take and I need it to “capture” (as it’s called in re-pitch) the new vocal take so I can edit that new one. Well, after it’s recorded and I play through for the new capture, the new captured correction bars will overlay over the old ones from the previous take. Even though I deleted it in studio one. The previous takes audio isn’t there just the previous correction move that I made. And when I try to delete just that one section that I’m trying to replace even though I’ve only highlighted that one small section it end up deleting everything that has captured in that entire song. Do you follow? So it’s not letting me delete corrections or captured audio individually. Only the entire take or song. Obviously I’m going to make different edit moves on the new take than what I did with the previous. So those old correction moves arent going to do me any good with the new take
@@producerhat I’m using the free demo version from the site. I’m planning on buying it but I’m still feeling it out on this Cure cover I’m doing. I just wanna make sure it’s gonna do everything I needed to do before I spent 200 bucks.

@@producerhat it's alt. However, I asked because my alt key wasnt doing anything. None of my keybinds work within the repitch window. I will update repitch and cross my fingers that does the trick.
@@KatieDwyerMusic download the beta version of Repitch. My keybinds didn’t work either. It’s something they’re working on - but they work in the beta version.
in it's full functionality? no, purely standalone. but what vocalign will do is match your dubs to the tuning of your guide track and allow you to adjust it's intensity.
@@producerhat sorry for asking I'm a newbie I only started learning FL studio last week then found out about repitch yesterday I thought I still need to download vocalign thanks 🙏
@@Nobmaser VocAlign and REpitch are two different plugins, that CAN work together, but work perfectly great for their individual purposes, all by themselves. I definitely recommend VocAlign for vocal stacking. It's magic and such a time saver.
Unfortunately there's much work pending on the RePitch plugin.Lot's of glitches, pops & issues need to be fixed as I tried running it on a Mac with Logic Monterey .Good plugin overall but needs fixing for sure.
Hmmm interesting. Have you updated? I just corrected a vocal that was destroyed by an AUTOTUNE-happy mix engineer. Zero artifacts 🙌🏽 make sure you are using that draw tool.

how do I enable the Time Grid? Like seeing 8ths.. 16th etc I don't see a time grid on it and can't figure it out

On bouncing I get artifacts. Is there another options? Record to a buss?

That’s right bouncing in place. I’ll pay more attention next time and let you know
It's kinda like variaudio in cubase pro
Interesting. I’m not a Cubase user but that’s cool! Logic Pro has Flex Pitch, and it’s similar but RePitch is WAY MORE powerful that Flex Pitch
I'm trying to determine if there is any advantage to repitch over variaudio.

That you would do in Logic. On the audio track itself. Then bring the newly recorded audio back into RePitch
