For the Mandibuzz line: They might also be a reference to bearded vultures who are known to swallow bones whole and rub their feathers in bright red clay as a status symbol! The best red clay spots are constantly fought over by other vultures.
A personal theory i had for the Shiny Golurk line was that the shiny is their original colors before exposure to the elements turned them blue. Further backed up by the fact that the light clay they drop is the same color as their shinies glowing parts.

Stoutland’s more orange mustache makes its colors more like a Welsh Terrier, who have very bright orange/rust fur. Lilpup might be made more wheaten so it looks more like a light colored Cairn Terrier (Toto dog)

Tidbit about Woobat and Swoobat's shinies, actually! The two are likely inspired from the Honduran white bat, a species that hides in leaves. Even though their fur is white-blue like normal Woobat and Swoobat, when light shines through the leaves they hide under, it makes the bats look yellowish green, much like the shinies!
Clover was not the leader of the Totally Spies group... None of them were really leading over the others, but if one was to be a leader it would be Sam (the red head wearing green) since she was the most responsible. Powerpuff Girls would have been a better example since Blossom is the leader in that group.
Pokémon shinies didn’t get intentionally designed until gen 6, so the gen 1-5 Pokémon just have randomly generated colours depending on what the original colour was. So this video isn’t technically true but it was still entertaining.

For Klinklang. Certain metals can rust into a weird green color. This is usally copper. This greeen rust is called "Patina".

Tidbit about Woobat and Swoobat's shinies, actually! The two are likely inspired from the Honduran white bat, a species that hides in leaves. Even though their fur is white-blue like normal Woobat and Swoobat, when light shines through the leaves they hide under, it makes the bats look yellowish green, much like the shinies!

Clover was not the leader of the Totally Spies group... None of them were really leading over the others, but if one was to be a leader it would be Sam (the red head wearing green) since she was the most responsible. Powerpuff Girls would have been a better example since Blossom is the leader in that group.

I mean think the idea was for Clover to be the leader but Sam was the "smart" one so I think it really depends who you ask I guess
I've honestly never even considered Clover being the leader, to me it was always Sam
Pokémon shinies didn’t get intentionally designed until gen 6, so the gen 1-5 Pokémon just have randomly generated colours depending on what the original colour was. So this video isn’t technically true but it was still entertaining.
