I personally don't like 2019. The movement is a weird hodgepodge of Apex Legends and a clunky milsim. Not to mention the skins took fucking months to earn for each gun. Still won't be picking up MWIII though. Hopefully the next title is better. Treyarch tends to do well with their games.
I feel like potentially it was because of max FOV on PC that the movement felt so much better, and it's likely why console players had such a dramatically different experience in MW2019 than PC - because I actually feel like MW2019 had the most fluid and fast-paced movement in any COD I've played. The point about the skins I fully understand, although as someone with damascus in MW2019, I feel like it created a sense of respect for those who grinded it that more recent COD titles have lacked - in the more recent titles, when I see someone with any particular mastery skins, I don't think twice, and don't consider any grinding because it just doesn't take much, but the point in those skins are to be some showcase of skill, to give you something to brag about.
This is one of the worst Cods ever made, and I stuck with the franchise through the dark days of Infinite Warfare.. Just hate how they removed staple features for no reason like mini map red dots and prestige mode, added maps that were too big, along with doors and mounting mechanic that added to the camping problem.. I just hate how every Cod after this except Cold War is built apon this, you're 100% right when you say MW III feels like a DLC, cause it is, they all are. Vanguard, MW II and MW III are essentially the same game as MW19, just with a new coat of paint and QoL upgrades. I hate it. I like Cold War, in retrospect it was a decent game, far from the best and far from the worst, it at least has some of the staple features and is refreshing to play nowadays, since it was on the Bo4 engine so it doesn't feel anything like the last 2 and is more enjoyable. Sorry for the rant, if you couldn't tell I'm not a fan of this game lmfao
Not to mention Warzone, which killed Cod for me. Just hate how Warzone now takes priority over the paid multiplayer, and every Cod now feels the same so they can have seamless integrations, I miss old Cod, nothing will beat Cod4 - Bo2. I just hope Microsoft do some major maintanence before adding the games to game pass.
I enjoyed the rant! Good to hear from the perspective of a real CoD fan. I'm admittedly not very into the series and haven't played most of them so I found MW 2019 pretty fun
@@Punggles Yeah which is fine, I get it was liked by a lot of people, MW was a big game, brought in so many new players or brought some back, so I can understand having a sorta soft spot for it. I'm the same with Black Ops 1, that was the game that got me into the franchise way back in 2010.
Punggles racking up the kills, can’t be stopped, won’t be stopped!
Its what I do
