Thank you for sharing this! I believe I needed this because I hook my amplifier up to my home stereo and when I turn off the power the amplifier makes the speaker pop!
I did similar years ago but linked the red and blue wires together without an on/off switch... i used a paperclip to loop the sub 12v connection with the sub remote connection and used the plug mains switch to turn it on/off... worked just great 😉👍
It’s the remote wire which is used to turn on the amplifier when the car stereo in your car turns on but in this case you wouldn’t have a car stereo so he wires current from the positive into the remote wire acting as a signal from the car stereo to turn on the amplifier

I hope this is the solution for speaker pop when I disconnect the power from the amplifier in my home stereo with my car amplifier!
Where's the white wire go to??
Thanks for creating this video.
It works but not powerful enough for my 1100 watts subwoofers , it cuts off when increased volume.
So, should I just run a receiver w a power converter to my amp instead?
I used an X1 power block
Does not work at all my amp runs 75 amp does not even turn on the amp

How do you do the switch 😩😩😩

Lol @ Paul
It looks like the standby(bluewire) is connected to outside prong and 12v (redwire) is connected to middle prong
