I'm a man. What Dr Gray said in this video is 100% true! I sensed he was a little frustrated while saying what he said because he felt women simply didn't appear to get it.
Let me put it this way. I hate window shopping at a departmental store. However, I would willingly accompany my woman to the said activity if she appreciated what I did for her at the end of it.

Love that last story. I am in a relationship now and I have been trying to be my authentic self. I have been truthful about what I need and thought the relationship would end. To my surprise, this man listened to my concerns/requests, which of course helped me build my trust in him. This is a new experience for me and I have to say, it has been very powerful in making me feel safe.

I love his closing remarks. Engaging in conflicts and fights with your spouse does not do any good to the relationship.

My takeaway - Create a series of positive experiences, and don't be attached to the outcome. Just enjoy, lean back. Appreciate him for what he does for you. Accept him for who he is. When you accept him as he is, it shows that you trust him; trust is a big thing for him.

JOhn I love the story so much about how you became lost and your wife said that she was lost too, and how she overlooked your mistake and enjoyed the scenery so much.
The point about positive dating experiences rings true. Not becoming emotionally involved whilst dating is the key.
    Thank you

Happy with what you have, yet still wanting more, and placing no demands. So true! Because if he knows you want more, and he's capable of providing it, he'll work to give it to you. Because women are more conscious of time passing and aren't clear what their needs are, they sabotage relationships by expectations that come out as complaints and negative actions. Trust him, and be patient and clear with communication, and grateful for what you have. #wisdom.

Write places and things to do on pieces of paper and put it in a jar. What activity is pulled out is what you do. No redos. Solves alot of issues. You win some, you lose some. Make it fun.

My current boyfriend and I were friends for half a year first. I slowly fell for him and I feel very comfortable with him. I was not turned on by him initially at all hahaha

The crazy thing is this is the type of person I am to not care so much about the fact that were lost but enjoying the moment. But everyone every man but I've dated was disgusted that I wouldn't react to such bad things and I guess at some point but I'm learning now I didn't have boundaries. But it's like they were wanting me to attack them and that's just so weird how can anyone explain that?

    I’m wondering something:
My guy sacrificed his hobbies for his ex wife! I know that men and every person needs ME time.
Lately my man got an invite for his hobby, he did bail because that is on a day that we would be together.
I told him he should go as ME time is important, and I can catch him up there later in the evening.
I know from my personal experience that having ME time makes you happy and fulfilled what leads to better relationships.
Is John now saying that I should have thanked him for quitting his ME time?
    It is confusing

After a certain age having the option to pick doesnt come easily. And then culturally for some women, you meet one guy, you date for some time, then next thing you know, its official, long term and/ or married, and after some time you feel that perhaps you shouldnt be together long term anymore.... 🤔

Makes sense . I suppose unsuccessful men will not contain enough testosterone to even know how to ask a women out and give to another. At least that has been my experience ... their too much on their female side looking to take. Am I understanding this right? Lol
