John Gray is one of the best-known and bestselling relationship authors of all time. He’s written 26 books and is most famous for his iconic ‘Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus’ franchise.
John has been teaching millions of men and women how to achieve more fulfilling love lives for over 40 years - and it might come as a surprise to hear that, prior to training as a psychologist, he was a celibate monk for nine years.
[This episode was recorded in London just before I relocated to America.]
In this episode of #healthHackers, you’ll hear John’s views on:
🔹the number one most important aspect of a relationship
🔹why men are losing their libido
🔹how a male can boost his testosterone and become “superman”
🔹why women today feel so overwhelmed and stressed
🔹how a female can bring out the best in her male partner
🔹an easy technique for better communication between men and women
🔹how watching porn changes a man’s attraction for his real-life partner
    🔹what causes a man’s #testosterone level to drop
🔹the things females ‘need’ to be happy in a relationship
🔹how women unknowingly make their male partners feel like failures
🔹why women should let a guy do more for them
    🔹how to improve physical intimacy
🔹the problem with being an independent woman
🔹how tech and instant gratification are changing our brains

There is a structure for women to become open in relationship, they are (in order):
    1) She must feel good communication from him
    2) She must feel his romantic affection
    3) She must feel that she has a partner who can help
Women go to the men to get the boost of estrogen...that happens when a "guy does more"

This is a great interview! I love John Gray. He is so spot on. I hope he releases his new book on grief soon.
He mentions his new partner at the end of the video - Lin Wang, his long-time translator and tour guide in China. They were happily married May 4, 2020.)
It's great to see that even Dr. Gray can come full circle after loss and grief to find love again. He is an inspiration to all of us that have lost a spouse.

What about Warriors then? Military men who are fighting wars, training for wars…. It seems like angry work but I don’t feel it’s estrogen fueled… would love to know what Gray says about warriors.

what things? sexual stuff he saw in p0rn? then NO!!! you are not a prostitute
outside of that, You appreciating him is you giving. Besides that you give him a tenth of what he gives you, so he better be giving you support, helping you in the house, providing money, emotional safety, physical security, not cheating on you, not watching porn, not flirting with other women, listening and you feel heard and understood, not dismissing your feelings.
careful, woman giving too much makes men lazy

In my opinion is not ok to pretend that my suggestion to watch a specific movie is his idea.. this is a lie and I do not care at this point if he doesn't have his testosterone boost. I can say instead he made me happy to accommodate me. If in a man mind he thinks that if a woman says he selected the movie and it was a good one he is the director of the movie this man lives in a fantasy world and has narcissistic tendency taking credit for things he didn't work on. Also my ex boyfriend once after me having a great business idea for his brother instead of saying that is a great idea he repeated back as if he was his idea.. what about my mental health that was affected? Ah but he had to boost his testosterone at my expenses.. sky rocketing my testosterone and made me feel I was not acknowledged but also respected, instead of bringing up another great idea or just use it to make this happen and help his brother.

Yes, it is very conflicting to hear some of this as an "independent" woman but there is alot of wisdom in it. I am glad he doesn't hold back because of how old fashioned he could seem.

I don’t know why you would say that! I found her to be quietly attentive. She let him speak without drawing focus by uttering “uh-huh” constantly or visually drawing focus by nodding her head. She’s a stunning woman so cheers to her being able to do that even when Gray got a little graphic.

Why I would say that . I’m an expert in body language . I have been a professional certified sign language interpreter for over 20 years and my parents and close friends are Deaf . I traslate screenplays into an ASL performances .
Her body language contradicts her words .
      Plain and simple.
I very much appreciate her time and John’s time . Great info
Thank you to both of them .
This IS just my opinion. Her discomfort
came across loud and clear non verbally .
      Best Wishes to All

Thx for more info, Esther. I’m fascinated by body language and am definitely not an expert. I hate to think I was offensive, just giving my take. Would be interesting to climb in her head and find out her truth, but that is for her to know. ☮️
