This was such a special episode of Bondi Vet! Its so awful to even think people would eat dog meat and that there are facilities still that do this! I respect all organizations taking in and rescuing these poor pups from a certain death sentence! There are a lot of other countries that are rescuing dogs from S.Korea as well and its amazing.
N poor little Snickers, I wasn't aware these types of ticks existed until I started watching Bondi Vet but this was the 1st episode where the anti serum side effects were explained. My husband and I both had no idea that it caused a reaction at all! I'm glad the little girl made it through!
I always love the Reptile Park! They should have a separate show of their own! They have so many different kinds of animals and could easily make an hour episode out of it! Ember the koala was so adorable n he was born at the park so I'd love to see all the animals they rescue and see how they progress and their breeding program is amazing and I would love to learn more about it!
The wombat Ash omg I had no idea they could get mange! Plus he survived the bush fires and I know they eventually want to release him but he's so attached to people that I'm not sure he would be able to survive on his own. I think he'd be better off in a sanctuary with other wombats where he can run around and be happy and still be able to get his cuddles from time to time!
This was a very interesting and informative episode!
people eat chickens, pigs, cows, fish.... why is a dog different and more deserving of empathy?
Sapphiregriffin because dogs weren’t domesticated to be meat like the animals you listed [excluding fish], they were domesticated to be friends and companions.
Sapphiregriffin it’s not only about them eating animals, while it for some people it is about eating dogs, the problem also mainly comes from how they are being kept and treated in those dog farms, and same goes for all the other kinds of animals being kept and tortured in farms like this.
no matter whether it’s a farm animal, a pet or even other animals that aren’t supposed to be either. none of them should be treated like that are kept under those conditions.
and besides a lot more people have more personal connection with dogs, there are people out there that have personalised connections with chicken or pigs or even cows, and they may not want to eat them either. the main fact is that they are a much more common animal that can help in many other ways other than just be there.
First of all they ate dogs for a reason 70 years ago (give or take a few years). They were a poor war torn country. They are no longer in that situation!! They have rebuilt into a beautiful compassionate country where the majority of the people do not want their country to be known for that!! Also yes people eat chickens, cows, pigs, and fish... the difference is in how they get the dog meat!! What those poor dogs have to go trough to be someone’s dinner!! Anyone who knows how they procure the dog meat to be eaten and doesn’t have “empathy” for the dogs makes me question whether that person has sociopathic tendencies or not
@@Sapphiregriffin I know its probably not your intention to say you don't care, you're likely trying to say an animal is an animal, and that they should all be respected. And I do believe that any animal, weather they are meant for companionship, food, display or for any reason, should be treated with respect and live happily and healthy. But if you believe all animals should be treated the same, id think that youd find this especially sick that people have taken yet another animal to be used for food...and wouldn't act as though they're just another thing because they certainly are not
“I can hear a heart. Now we just need to fill it with some love” 😭💔 I’m officially broken.
OMG TRUE😭😭😭😭😭😭
I just bawled.. I read your comment at the same time I saw him cuddling her.. It is so horrible what these dogs go through.. ❤️😭
As far as I have read and seen, these degenerate monsters don’t have hearts. Thank heaven these wonderful, kind and hardworking people are able to save some. Almost all. Asian countries love to torture, kill and consume helpless, loving creatures.
This is so very sad. 😥😪😥😪
Oh no, this broke me too. Came across this video as I'm currently cuddling my spoiled rotten granddoggy. People are horrible.
My dog is a rescue from a Korean meat farm. It’s taken a long time to get her to trust me, and she is still afraid of everything. Every day is hard for us, but she’s finally got a warm bed, good food, and lots of love.
Time, leading by example and your own body language ,emotion give off is best to give.
I’m happy she was able to be rescued and put into a loving home
How did u get her? I would love to have the opportunity to do the same
Marianne Johnson I got her from my local shelter, but I’m sure there are places you can find online or ask around to see which orgs. do this type of rescue
Please ....who ever read that, help us. We rescued 3 dogs and 2 cats from dog-meat eaters. But now we stuck in Cambodia and don't know how to get out with our animals. Our visa is expired too. We want to go home to Canada but no way we leave our baby's behind.
Do you know any cargo/freight company who can fly our animals from Cambodia to Canada. ?!?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
my sister in law rescued a pup from the meat chain. shes a travel agent so she travels all over and in southern china there was a tiny shack with 10 dogs sold for food she was wanting a dog too. it was a golden lab cross pup and told the old guy she was gonna take him to her house and cook it. now douglas is a happy dog and now has gotten his degree for therapy dog so my sister in law can bring awareness to this chain of horrors...
bless your sister-in-law :)
Yes gods blessings come to this beautiful wonderful woman 👵🤗🌹❤️
Literally every other meat animal is treated pretty much the same way, dogs ain't special.
@@trishlikefish9875 what is wrong with you?? Dogs are not meat.
And even regular farms with cows, chickens, pigs, whatever still care for the animals. They feed them properly, they call the vet when they're sick or hurt, they don't spend their life locked in a filthy cage with no contact.... BIG DIFFERENCE
@@rebeccahetrick6576 Ummm, you literally just described the horrid conditions the farm animals live in. In industrial farms, they don't call the vet. They simply kill the animal. They, surprisingly, DO spend their life locked in a filthy cage. At least the dog's cages shown in this video were able to turn around and jump. Compared to how industrial chickens are raised, that's pure luxury.
As a Korean I am very disappointed and angered by the treatment of dogs shown in the footage... No dogs, nay, no animal should be treated in such horrendous and inhumane ways.

The lady in the beginning said “Yulin Meat Festival” (1:46) which is a specifically CHINESE thing. I love Bondi Vet, but could it be that they got it wrong that these dogs were from South Korea?
Yes, there are some South Koreans (usually older rural folks who literally grew up dirt poor and starving) who eat dog meat today, but go to SK for yourself and you’ll find that it’s actually very difficult to find people today who still do.
Now... China is a different story. I seriously doubt these dogs were from South Korea.
There are still dog meat markets here in SK and I recently saw a bunch which were rescued, and Jindo dogs (Jin island dogs) are native Korean dog breed. They might be wrong about it, but I have a feeling I saw some of those dogs on that exposè.
@@PhilXavierSierraJones possibly, but dogs are only eaten in rural areas. i feel like a lot of comments here just assume that the entire country of korea eats dogs when it's only a very small population. jindos look similar to shibas. where's the timestamp? maybe i'm confusing them
There are a few dog farms here (regretably) and they're usually very large; recently one of the owners surrendered all the dogs to the rescue group and closed the farm for good, so I might be mistaking that here.
Me too I'm shocked
Oh my goodness I just started crying when I saw that dog that wouldn’t even look at a person how many buried his head into the corner I can’t even imagine the trauma he must be going through I pray that they will close these things down
I wish there was so closure on this case. I can’t get the image out of my head.
I know. Poor thing.
Me too!❤
Its Jack I feel so sorry for. He was obviously someone's pet that was stolen for food. Makes me so angry and disgusted in human beings. His pet parents must miss him so much
I was thinking the same thing. And v he's halfway across the world and they may never find out what happened to him.
When Jack was walking around in the town, i could see him look around and say "whats that? Whats that? A nother dog? Hello!" I just love that :)
Jack was someone's pet before he wound up in the meat chain. You could tell. He trusted people. He knew how to walk on the lead. I'm glad he got a new home in England. (Jan Griffiths).
One sad part of the dog meat farms is that some of the dogs were someone's pet. They are stolen from the owners and sometimes they get loose and are picked up by these butchers.
I wish scientist could come up with something that could be given to the dogs that doesn't make the dogs sick but makes the people who eat the dogs sick. Would serve them right.
That will be so wonderful it someone can fine something like that. To eat a dog make me sick
No, they don't deserve to be sick, they deserve to be executed.
Not everyone deserves to live.
We need less disgusting people on this planet to make it better.
Peta does the dog stealing and i dont like it. 😐😐😐
@@m44n7unu7 peta also kills peoples pets AND backs the killing of pits and any dog that looks like a pit.
@@m44n7unu7 they also "euthanize" aka murder animals they take into their care because the owner can't have them anymore.
I call it murder because there is zero reason for them to euthanize the animal.
Hell, they've gotten busted a couple times setting up their own "look how animals are abused" scenario. Inflicting wounds on various animals.
My friends brother adopted a dog that was rescued from one of those awful places. Her foot is all messed up from a rope around her foot. her name is now Teddy and she's a delightful girl. Super cute!! :D
The funny thing about it is that his mom actually applied to adopt her too, and had no idea that her son had applied.
She was denied the application, and the rescuer told her that they had found a couple in Atlanta, and it was such a coincidence he had the same last name... she replied with the name of her son and his GF, and they said yes! xD
So she gets to see the dog quite a bit.

Luda Poloz renew your visa and do things properly. Call the airports to find out the rules and requirements needed to move your pets.
Heart breaking what the dogs from south Korea have gone through. Happy they are now safe in the UK and given the attention and love they so deserve. Thank you very much for saving them and others.
oh Lulu, so sad, can't wait to see them get to a better place, thank you for rescuing them!
I’d love to know how the other dogs made out, especially Lulu. Seeing her with her nose pushed down in the corner, not making eye contact, made my heart hurt. Please post and pin an update. (USA)
My dad used to rescue dogs from Hispanic families that were raising them for food. We ended up with a beautiful little boy Dad named Poquito (Little). Never quite knew what breed he was .. long haired Chihuahua was our best guess or a mix that would maybe look like that. He had the sweetest face. As soon as Dad figured out the pup was to be dinner, he traded them some cash and told them to get some hamburger instead LOL
We had him for about a year, but he liked exploring the neighborhood and found way to "escape". He finally decided he wanted to be with a lady a few houses down and she adored him, so we let her keep him. He lived a long full life being quite happily spoiled rotten. It was great to see! 💖🙋🏼♀️🐕
I was absolutely traumatized by the first pictures on TV of that precious dog in the cage outside of that meat market. I suffered from nightmares and frequent tears just knowing that poor dog and many others were being treated like that. I don't know how people can treat those precious babies so cruelly. I am upset, angry and frustrated and I can't seem to stop seeing that dog in my mind. God bless all those beautiful people for rescuing them. My prayers are with you and those poor helpless pups.
It's really shocking. Dr Scott is a lovely and compassionate person. I hope these dogs were able to live a happy life.
I cried from the start of the video and still got tears in my eyes after the end just thinking bout those poor dogs that came from Korea.
I'm sorry that this happened. Im korean and I feel bad. I used to have a dog but he died cause of heart cancer. Im really sorry about this.

You eat meat?
Snickers was so grateful to her vet she was so happy to see her
Jack's story just broke my heart. The fact that he was still capable of seeing good in humans despite what he went through just shows how beautiful dogs are. Not to mention that he was probably someone's lost or stolen pet just brought me to tears. I hope that he and the other dogs in this video are able to heal. And that this horrible practice stops, and the dogs that have gone through such horrific things receive justice.
Jack is so lovely. Imagine what his original owner(s) are going through. They'll never know he was saved but thankfully, he was.
They should dedicate a whole show to the dogs from Korea. I would love to know what happened to the dogs.
yeah
this was sad and horrendous why would you want to see more
there is another before video though from a korean show called Dogs are incredible episode 3, it was the same dog meat farm, and u will see how they rescued the dogs before they were sent to UK
My dream is to start a homestead, then start a sanctuary for these dogs. I would try to rehabilitate the pups and train them to become PTSD service dogs to help veteran.
Nami Kim does an amazing job rescuing these dogs. She also tries to find them new homes.
@FROGGIE omg so same, mate. Im a vet aspirant as well and dream for such a social work as well, if we could collab someday hehe. Good luck.
snickers looks like a little fruit bat, so cute!
She's a Schipperke, a small Belgian dog. They are only black in color. They're adorable little dogs. (Jan Griffiths).
@@douglasgriffiths3534 I had one for 19 years, he was brilliant, very bossy and a great house dog. Still miss him.
I thought that too!
She totally looks like a fruit bat. She's darling.
So that's why I thought she looked extra adorable.
Poor babies...I'm so so happy they're somewhere safe now and have such loving folks looking after them.
The poor traumatized dogs is a horrible sight 😢
This episode was hard to stomach. So sad for the dogs. Wish I was a billionaire, I'd save all the animals possible. So glad these few dogs got a second life. Hope they can save more! ❤ God Bless!
With jack, all I could think of when I saw how happy he was to go anywhere with people is that he probably would have been smiling and wagging his tail as his captives led him to his death... so glad he has a nice happy home now!
your comment brought tears to my eyes.
Sadly.. That's all Beagles will do. Being too trusting to people which lead this breed chosen as an experimental dog for decades 😭
I cried when the dogs arrived. They're so terrified and have never felt loved. I just don't know how anyone could be that cruel to any animal. It makes me want to cuddle my dogs even more. Just so sad. 😪❤
God bless the family who adopted Jack the beagle. I had to turn away when they were showing dogs in cages. I have two rescue doggies that I took in.
OMG! I can't stop crying...I would most willing to adopt any of them, all if I could.
Three minutes into this video and I'm already in tears.
Those dogs made me so sad, I'm glad they've gotten the help they need. Great episode as always, love from Finland.
Feel the same way 😂😂 Canada
I just sat there and held my dog and cried watching all those dogs and thinking about the horrible life they must’ve lived. So glad they were rescued
6:28 Jack must have been someone's beloved pet. From the videos I've seen about dog meat farms, aside from videos of those places of hell for dog being torn down, the people who ran them would not only target stray dogs but pet dogs too. Jack's behavior is what we all see from our dogs. He was clearly someone's pet only to be stolen and later on rescued in time.
I've seen a lot of episodes with paralysis ticks but none explained more about them than Dr Alex; I learned a lot more tonight.
They have probably seen the torture and death of other dogs maybe even family members 😠😭❤️
Its heart breaking watching the dogs😭😭 ,their spirits and are broken but now they are saved ,hope they can save more
@@judygraham8477 I agree! Surprising how many animals inside peoples homes have broken spirits. Birds left in cages 24 hours a day. Dogs left all day long while people are out working, then ignored & a nuisance because they need a walk. There are plenty of people , so called animal lovers, need their animals removing. My bird used to be closed in his cage at certain times until one day I realized his quiet behaviour wasn't him being good, it was him losing his spirit. Now his cage is permanently open. He changed dramatically from that day. I rescued him because I work from home. I would never have had a lone bird if I was out working.
Farm animals see the same thing. I'm glad these dogs were rescued, but I feel the same upset and anger that you are for farm animals as well as the dogs still over in Korea.
@@BlackBackLioness I hope they can save more
@@judygraham8477 the easiest way to save animals like cows, chickens, goats etc is to not buy animal products, I wish there was more media interest in the torture that goes on as standard in the food industries (but because it is an unpopular subject they ignore the blantant cruelty of it all) - I hope they save more dogs too of course
I have a jindo dog that flew in a few months ago from the Korean meat market. She is the sweetest thing. She is cautious with humans, doesn’t very much like children. When she is sleeping and you startle her or accidentally touch her to quickly she jumps up and runs. Then she has that moment of reality and is like oh I’m still here and she comes up to me for cuddles.
It’s truly sad what we humans have done and continue to do not just to dogs, but to all animals. I have helped transport Korean dogs that fly into lax in hopes to find their forever homes. I urge everyone to find a local rescue that flys in these rescue dogs. Help out in fostering, adopting, donations or simple create awareness.
Omg seeing Lulu like that made me cry! It breaks my heart to see the dog in so much pain! Some human are truly disgusting how they treat animals! I pray Lulu have a bright future!
My heart goes out to those dogs rescued from meat farms. I really hope they get the love and care that they deserve. on another note, now I want to take a baby wombat out for a stroll too. That was utterly adorable!
This just broke my heart. I love animals. I cried so hard to watch this episode. It broke my heart especially to see the dog that was hiding it’s head and would not even look at anyone.
Thank you to Dr. Scott and everyone who helped saved these dogs and find them forever homes where they will get the love that they deserve.
That big smile on Dr. Alex after Snickers recovery..... priceless
I am Korean and I am ashamed of what people do to dogs there, I mean in the meat farms. I really don’t understand why people there eat dogs! They are so cute and chubby and kawaii. I wouldn’t do such a thing to a dog! People there eat dogs to the point where its a stereotypical thing. Like as soon as I say that I’m Korean people are like: “Do you eat dogs?” Or “Oh your the country that eats dogs” I really don’t want Korea to be called the ‘country that eats dogs’....
Me too. Im korean and every time I tell someone that they're like "oh. You eat dogs right? That's horrible. What the hell are you thinking you dog eating monster-" and I feel bad because my dog died from a heart cancer a few months ago... I would never want to eat any dogs.
at least it isnt like china where anything living is eaten
@@Amy-hn1ph My aunt is South Korean, she doesn't like that stigma either. She does eat hot-dogs (lol) though. I wonder where they breed tofu-dogs, probably Hawaii? People don't realize also that history is full of that sort of thing, not just Asia, but the Aztecs, prior to the conquest by Spain, also ate dogs, Chihuahuas. That is mentioned in one of the five letters that HernanCortes wrote to Carlos the fifth of Spain. In that (third I think) letter he describes walking around the marketplace in the capitol city (Tenochtitlan) and talks about all of the types of meat that was for sale, alive or dead, including the little, almost hairless dogs from the Chihuahuan desert that they bred for eating. That gives the "Yo quiero TacoBell" Chihuahua ad a whole new meaning doesn't it? Chuhuahuas were not originally bred to be lap and purse pets, no matter what the American Dog Breeders Association tells people. However, because dog has not been a culturally acceptable food in Mexico and Northern Central America since before the 1600's the descendants of Aztecs are no longer called dog-eaters by the descendants of Europeans. It is fabulous that South Korea is finally putting an end to that horror, it will unfortunately take time for SouthKoreans to shake that stigma, hopefully not over 400 years. I imagine western ignorance about it will remain for a long time since China does not seem to be making any attempts to stop and all of Asia seems to remain guilty by association of anything bad that China does.
Intelligent people do not believe that because some people do harmful things does not mean the whole country or even the majority does. Unfortunately, intelligent people in most countries are hard to find.
@@tootz1950 when I tell someone that im korean they either tell me A. OMG I love korean drama B.OMG I LOVE KPOP. Who's your favorite. Or C. OHHHHHHHH your the ones who eat dogs right? You guys are monsters. Eating pets aren't right. -storms away-
But i really am sorry. I feel like the new generation is kind of taking the blame. The new generation should try to stop them but im still just a kid. No one would listen to us. Cause apparently we don't have experience in the real world. But yea. Sorry
Lulu burying her head in the corner is so sad. But the way he was describing her seemed like she was incapable of living life. I think time and the right kind of love with nurture her back to life. She is so sweet. I pray she finds a home. I wish I could but we got 8 pets here in the city and that’s crossing it lol.
My heart has broken so bad that it will never mend with the horror humans heap on other species. I just wish for more kind humans on earth like you guys.

My heart is sinking to see so much suffering. Can’t explain how I want to cuddle those puppies and make them realise that they are loved and safe.
Sneaker and Ash were so well taken care of for a recovery. Thank you for loving and caring them.
My heart broke for all the dogs taken from South Korea. I hope they all found loving homes and found the love that they all deserve.
My dog was like that when we got him. He was on death row and we found him through a rescue. But he wouldn't come near us. He would hide and tuck his tail. Didn't wag for about 6 months. Gulped his food like he would never eat again. When we tried to pet him he would shake and pull away like we were going to hit him. Never barked and never came out of my moms room. After 6 months we finally got him neutered (he's 5) once we picked him up he jumped in the car and whined the whole way home. From then on he has wagged his tail learned to play with toys, he's a big goof 🤪. He runs like crazy and has become comfortable enough to go in every room. I loveeeeee him so much. So happy to have him.
Thankful for the Humane Society Intenational for saving these dogs from Korea as well as other rescue and Bondi vet. Glad to see the Koala getting better and the new baby koala, baby kangaroo, chamellion, and other pets and animals you are treating.

and this folks is why your vet bill is always so high, even if everything goes right the staff still need paying
Micky Deery my baby worth everything n I wish I could do the same to these dogs in the video
Micky Deery It’s the same reason your hospital/doctor etc. bill is high. The vet is just another doctor who a family member needs.
It’s harder to become a vet than it is to become a doctor. A vet has to work with a variety of species, a doctor, just humans.
We paid over $15,000 to save my kitty Riley a year ago. Worth every penny even though we could've paid cash for a car for that amount! And we are just a typical family, not wealthy financially by any means whatsoever. We were stunned to hear that some people think if your pet dies in the end, you do not have to pay! I understand how that would be difficult but that isn't the vet/animal hospital's fault and they still used resources, time, effort, etc. on your pet. We paid the bill and joke that she's our car cat because she cost the same as my first car. They could've asked twice that amount and we'd have sacrificed whatever was necessary to give Riley every chance she could have at survival.
Michelle Baker, Riley is such a lucky kitty! What an enormous financial sacrifice you made. I hope she has recovered fully. People think I'm crazy for paying for surgeries on my pet rats, but if I'm going to have pets, I need to provide veterinary care whether the pet is a 90 lb dog or a 14 oz rodent. I've never kept large animals like horses-can't imagine what their vet bills are!
@@drkatel Thank you! Riley is so special and since I have an incurable disease that causes me to live with brain tumor symptoms & have brain surgeries the rest of my life (8 & counting), I'm sure I'll never marry or have kids. So Riley is my baby! In fact I'm 34 now but got her when I was 22 and facing my first brain surgery. I'd just been diagnosed with my disease and had to leave my final year of college to come home to deal with it. My parents had said no more pets because we had a dog and a few other cats at that point, but when I got my diagnosis, they agreed that having a pet that was solely mine would be good. I would have to get out of bed every day to look after her, and I'd have a distraction as well. She's an Emotional Support Animal without the documenting paper basically. Anyway, she helped me through the process of accepting my diagnosis, facing that first brain surgery & all the others since then, giving me something to look forward to when I'm laying in the ICU, and in my late 20s there was a stretch of nearly three YEARS where I only left the house for medical care! LITERALLY almost three years of not going out except to a medical center/hospital. Not ONE TIME did I go anywhere else and not once did I see anyone I knew who was not my parents or sister or a medical professional. Literally. So Riley Dakota has helped me through things most people can't imagine, and I could never not help her through her own crises! She's had a few of them, we've paid bills of a few thousand a couple other times, but thankfully so far just the one massive bill. She was on death's doorstep when our usual animal hospital said their kitty ICU couldn't save her and her only shot was a specialty hospital in another city. So we made the decision to transfer her because otherwise she'd have died within a day or so. The specialty hospital offered more technology and more variety of treatments - for example, Riley got to have hyperbaric chamber time! I can't remember why, it was something to do with helping her heal, but whatever it was worked (along with all the other things they did, obviously - that alone isn't gonna fix a dying cat). Things like that which aren't offered in most animal hospitals. Anyway, even the staff there said most animals who were in Riley's condition die because their owners can't or won't pay! Some simply can't, which is understandable. I mean we had to REALLY sacrifice to pay this bill (happy to do it, just saying it wasn't easy so I get how some people can't). And some just don't want to! A few people who we told about this, people who aren't like "pets belong outside" and are people who think pets are family, said they wouldn't do it because it was too much for an animal. Thankfully God has blessed us with the resources to cover the bill - I can't imagine the heartbreak of being unable, of having to say "No, let her go" because it's that or feeding your (human) children. We always weighed Riley's quality of life when making her decisions, and every single day we had a phone conference ("we" being me & my mom) with the specialty hospital about her case. We made sure not to be aggressive in treatment solely for our sakes. However, they said that IF she survived, there was a very reasonable expectation that she'd have a good quality of life, so we proceeded. I myself have gone through brain surgeries which were horrifically painful, but I did them for a good outcome, so I understood that putting her through rough treatments was worth it IF there was good reason to think she'd have a good life afterwards should she survive. Keeping that in mind, we wanted her to have EVERY opportunity to beat it. At one point she had IVs in two legs & a PICC line in another, a feeding tube through her nose, she was shaved partially for the ultrasounds, it was pitiful! Upon discharge she was "diabetic" and we were told it would be for life. (Her initial crisis was pancreatitis which led to hepatic acidosis and a few other things, the combination of which was very life-threatening. The pancreas damage was the cause of the diabetes.) We were taught how to test her & administer insulin and did so for about a week or two after she came home. PRAISE JESUS for the miracle of her recovery, because not only did she survive, the diabetes disappeared! Her vets at both hospitals were STUNNED and in the year & a half since then, she'd only had one more time when she needed insulin - her pancreatitis flared but we stopped it in its tracks this time and after another few days of insulin, she was back to normal.
Today, Riley's blood sugar is excellent and she has made a full recovery! She's 12 so she's aging but her quality of life is unaffected by her ordeal! The other couple vet bills we had that were a few thousand were pancreatitis episodes prior to this one that cascaded so she's likely always going to deal with pancreas issues, and her liver is enlarged and her intestines have a few issues, but it's all unrelated to what happened. Just a few hours ago she was running around the house "talking" to her toy mouse. EVERY SINGLE TIME my mom & I hear her do that, we say, "It was worth it," referring to Car Cat and the $15,000+ it cost to save her life. It's been almost two years but we haven't forgotten or become less grateful for her recovery and relish her presence in our lives. My mom is the proudest cat Grammy on earth and she's the princess of the household. I don't particularly like rats, but I agree that if you have a pet you gotta care for it regardless of what it is, and my sister had two ferrets who also had their share of vet bills. I'm glad you have your rats and hope they bring you as much joy as Riley Dakota brings us! You said Riley's lucky to have us and those treating her who knew what her treatment would cost said the same thing, but it's the other way around... she's the best little kitty in the world and she gave me the gift of her companionship during a time when I needed her desperately. We are blessed to have her!
Ok you all through me for a loop. You changed the way you do things. Used to seeing. Dr. Scott on vet on the hill, then he is here on bondi vet. And never finished the Koren dog story. Don't leave me on a cliff hanger. ♡🥰😩😫
Those poor Shibas! I was literally crying and hugging my Shiba. Thanking the heavens they were rescued. I wish I didn’t live in the USA, I’d totally adopt a pupper and let my pup teach one how to be a dog again.
Thank you so much for rescuing these precious dogs from the horrific slaughterhouses in Asia. ❤
I am so happy to see Snickers well! I really want to become a vet when I am older, so I watch this all the time! I can't believe some people would do that to dogs. :( But I know we have some good shelters trying the best they can! I love watching lives being switched over to full happiness by the end of the episodes (most of the time!) and I just wanted to say "Thank you!" for taking care of the animals and being so careful! Love your work!
Thank you for saving these dogs. 😭😭😭
When you guys said Ash was a baby I was surprised since he looked pretty big, I had to Google how big a full grown wombat was. They're huge! And very fluffy and adorable.
Bless the charity who rescued these dogs. Thank you.
I want them all. I want to take those poor sweet innocent pups and cuddle them and feed them and love them forever.
Wombats are the most adorable creatures, just seeing one cant help but bring a smile to your face.
Even cuter is a wombat wearing goggles and an E collar. It makes your heart melt.
Thank all of the gods that their are people in this world , like Scott and the other Bondi Vet folks, who bring the plights of these abused creatures to the attention of the world.
What an amazing episode. I'm so happy dear little Snickers recovered.
To be civilized has nothing to do with money or technology. Its about having respect and understanding for others. To still have dog farms for meat is horrific and if they don't get that then there is something REALLY wrong with them
To be Civilized means exactly money and Technology.
Those that are poor are 3rd world country
Now I want to go to Korea to gather up all the dogs and bring them back! Just makes me want to cry. Happy Snickers is okay! The chameleon was interesting. But the wombat was so adorable! Thanks for another episode to brighten up this COVID world!
Ya I wish I could save all the dogs they don’t deserve what they are going through 🥺💔
This tears my heart apart. Humans that can treat any animal like that deserves to be caged up and treated the same way they treated these poor dogs. Those poor dogs. May each of them find a loving home and given unconditional love 💔
I want all of the dogs here with me. They are all so special and so precious. I love them all.
A measure of a society is how well they treat animals
This is so heartbreaking 😢 It makes me so sad that so many species of smart animals are being treated so horrendously and purposefully neglected. They are so helpless and want to feel love
I had watched the exact rescue video and always wondered where they went . Very glad they’re on good hands 🙏🏻
Breaks my Heart so much knowing what these Beautiful Dogs have been through 💔💔
I already have a dog but I also want a rescued dog, they seems to be the kindes little fluff balls ever, bless their hearts!
How can we support this amazing team Dr Scot???? Oh my goodness this savageness needs to end, to me it would be like eating your babies and I defo can not imagine doing anything so EVIL.
Jack. I'm so happy for you. I'm praying all them dogs find happy homes.😪😥👏🏾
Jack is probably so well natured, not just because he was likely a former pet, but because he is a beagle mix. Beagles are well know for their forgiving nature and ability to trust after trauma. That’s why they are the most common dog used in animal testing. How anyone could do that is beyond me. I would like to acquaint their face with a brick. Repeatedly.
What a delightful program to see people truly caring for animals. We need more of this kind of love in the world.
Would’ve been nice to have seen an update on the rest of the Korean rescues.
When they showed those cages in Korea I had tears running down my face wow this is so heartbreaking. Praying healing and restoration around all these dogs let the things that they’ve seen and smelled let them benches and rest from their memories and find the love and compassion inside the hands they’re in now. Praying for that organization that helped rescue these dogs, what an act of love and compassion. Dogs deserve to be happy and treated well and love and now they can run up and get a snuggle from you and some kisses
love this episode, wishing there was more on the other dogs shown from the meat farm... socializing success etc
Omg, I cant even with this episode. I am all in tears about Lily! I would so want her in my life although I am quite sure some loving family had already snatched her up. She deserves all the love in the world!!! 😭
Those poor animals its unfair that people think they should treat animals like that great thing you helped them
Oh lord, I have not cried this hard for years. This just broke my heart to think that a human being could be capable of putting any animal through such horrific treatment. So many of them are so broken and have given up...It is so beyond heartbreaking.
