My son also has autism, and he loves watching Bondi Vet, too! It's one of the best things I've found that helps him when he gets too overstimulated or too overwhelmed, it never fails to work consistently every single time!
I've just rescued a chihuahua that was kept in a tin shed and bred endlessly. This video made me cry..she (my rescue) could hear the puppies crying on this video and she went a bit manic looking for 'her babies' before I realised. Those poor animals on puppy farms deal with more than hunger/pain, it affects them emotionally.
Its is awful my mom and me used to forcefully take abused animals away from people. We would fight people to take them. I have been arrested a few times but worth it for the dogs we saved they usually are breed so much and the emotional pain they suffered from it hurt my heart so badly.
That hurts, your poor dog just recognizing the sound really is painful and I hope that she and you are doing ok. I've heard so many stories about puppy mills and similar situations with your dog and it's heart breaking.
My one cat was going bonkers as well ....not quite as sad of an upbringing, and has had no kittens, but it shocked me how upset she was not being able to find the squeekers!!
When my Bella had her first litter, pup 3 wasn’t breathing but I had seen Dr Chris bring one back from the edge before and did what he did and saved Oakleys life. Thank you for teaching us all that we are capable
@Ins Dynsmite they said pup 3, not three pups. Meaning the third puppy wasn't breathing, not three from the litter. And not everyone has access to emergency vet care. Where I live there are very few 24 hr vets, and almost none that pay home visits. Labor can be going well and not seem like it needs vet help, and then one of the puppies isn't breathing. By the time you get it to the vet it would be too late, so it's great they were able to stimulate the puppy to breathe, even if they got the idea from a TV show. And they never said they were planning to sell the puppies. It could have been an accidental pregnancy before they could spay. It happens. Yes, it would be better if the dog was spayed before it could happen, but don't be so quick to judge.
Had to get the dough out fairly quickly, or else alcohol poisoning from the yeast. His stomach is just warm enough for that to ferment, and that would have killed him. I'm glad he recovered, and the owners learned a valuable lesson----keep animals out of the kitchen when cooking or baking. It's no place for them, and keep stuff like this where they can't get at it. My neighbours dog was having puppies a few years back, her dog was in labour for about 3 days and everyone kept telling the lady she needed to take her to the vet but she just didn’t want to. Eventually she did it and turned out all but one puppy had died and started decomposing inside 😭 the vet still managed to save that last puppy though, so sad about her brothers and sisters

They were all VERY similar to other ones. Puppies w/Dr. Scott (maltipoo, he kept one), dog eating dough (Dr. Lisa, larger dog, 2.5 loaves off the counter), and they showed the first time Elvis hurt his foot, so it's a similar clip cause it's the same animal and same injury, with the same cause.
My mini golden doodle snatched a couple of raw doughnuts I was making for my students (a lesson on fractions) as they were rising. I had no idea how serious it was! I came home from work to see my dog walking in a drunken fashion. Thankfully, the vet gave her medication to induce vomiting and her blood test showed no alcohol damage/poisoning. $800 bill. Last time I bake with yeast!!!
